Great tool but annoying upgrade messages

  • November 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to set up and compatible browser add ons work well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Im a paying customer however i keep getting very pushy annoying upgrade messages. Stop bothering me! No i dont want business, family upgrades and yes my files will stay unprotected. I just need this as my personal password manager. Thanks

At the same time I don’t get reminders about changing my master password which is of course a great risk. Anyone breaks that will have access to my life.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stop using Facebook, google etc logins to retain my privacy and unique password for all accounts no duplicates.

Easy to use and gets better as time goes on

  • November 15, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Syncing across phone and desktop seamless. Multiple ways to access the fill method on destop (pop up button/right click>fill)
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any password manager, at the start is the hardest part. Inputting or changing all your passwords to be more secure was tedious. Keeper makes it as easy as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bought it for personal use, but it has crept in to my work (A good thing). Has made logging in to sites that I use uncommonly easy.

Exactly what is needed in the cyber world.

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With all the risks associated with our online life, security is of utmost importance. This means that you should not use the same password for all the websites you visit - whether once or multiple times during your online presence. However, it also means that you need to use multiple passwords and change them often. This program offers a secure method for managing all this information. Monitoring breaches helps you make smart decisions and avoid the high risk of cyber theft of your personal and financial data.
What do you dislike about the product?
While having the function to store all your secure data (including the files you can upload for safekeeping) and the ability to access it from your phone when you're not at home, the delay when you're not in a fast connection area can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no way I can remember all the different passwords I have for all the different sites I visit or use for shopping, getting medical information from my doctor, and researching information for my novels. Keeper helps with that and is so much safer than writing them in a notebook or logbook.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a secure, multi-user capable, local and web-based solution for managing passwords and records, as well as other data that needs to be monitored by a secure management team. The ability to add custom fields makes this a complete solution for risk management of secure data.

Super helpful app that does much more than simply remember my passwords!

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The app works on-top of other apps on my phone, so I get prompted to fill in a password whether I am on a web browser, social network, or other app.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is on the higher end of what I am willing to pay. I don't use all of the features (and likely, won't) so I wish there was a very basic package I could get for just password functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a variety of passwords and I can never remember which one I used where. I also tend to go with "Easy" passwords which aren't very secure. Keeper allows me to use much more complex and secure passwords, without having to remember them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a feature where Keeper checks for similar entries. I constantly end up adding multiple passwords because I used a different portal to login from.

Remember only one password

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeper is an excellent password manager that supports multiple devices so you can keep it anywhere. Your passwords, as well as private and payment information, are stored in an encrypted security vault, which is very convenient since there is no need to remember the information. Access data can be divided into categories and a photo or file can be attached. The application automatically fills in the data on platforms and allows you to log in with a fingerprint. Keeper comes equipped with a random password generator, which allows you to have different passwords for each platform. The program provides useful features, such as cloud backup or synchronization between multiple devices (Emergency Access). Additionally, Keeper is compatible with many two-factor authentication methods (SMS, Touch ID, Face ID, Google Authenticator, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphical user interface could be more user-friendly and more transparent, as it might be a challenge to configure and customize the application. Personally, the price could be lower, as Keeper is a simple tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeper is the best place to store login information as well as payment card information. The application is well integrated with many platforms, making it an excellent time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a password manager, a password management solution with powerful security features and a secure information sharing system, you can consider Keeper.

The best password manager for our needs

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeper is "zero knowledge" - they can't leak our secrets because they don't know them. Anyone who wants our secrets has to steal them from us, or break Keeper's crypto.

I also like the fact that Keeper offers coverage for the devices we use and a "vanilla" web interface as well. We don't have to manage synchronisation - their cloud does that.

Keeper makes sensible use of any 2FA that's built in to a device, while offering the option to use generic non-platform-specific 2FA if you want to.

I like being able to go to Keeper and have it invent a new password for me. I like that I can tell it about any restrictions that site has (password min/max lenght, no special symbols, or whatever) and it will adjust its password generation to suit. It makes it really easy to stick to having a different password for every site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality isn't consistent from one platform UI to another. There are some actions which I can perform on my iPad, but not on my PC, which breaks my workflow.

The auto-login for websites seems a bit all-or nothing. We use Keeper to store access control info for bank accounts and other such things which use Turing Test-tyle login procedures. Keeper can't auto-fill those, which is fair enough, but there doesn't seem to be a way to tell it not to try for selected websites only.

I would like to be able to change the caption against the "login" field on a per-site basis. Different sites call the User Identifier different things. It makes sense to me to be able to use the same terminology that the site does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping passwords and other secrets safe - not written down on paper, listed in spreadsheets or whatever else.

Sticking to having a different password for every site above a certain level of risk.

Enabing us (we're a very small company) to manage our passwords as professionally as, if not more so than, our very large and prestigious clients.

Supporting mobile working by allowing us to access our passwords wherever we take our devices.

Making it easy to grant and revoke access to passwords for different members of our team as our needs evolve.

Making it easy to see who has access to what, and make big changes quickly if we need to .

Thank god for this one

  • November 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that its all in one cross-platform app and the ability to create folders and organize it much better than past password apps I tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
its difficult for it to pick up proper fields such as challenge questions and also on some sub-pages of bank websites lets say, it recognizes them as a new login and store that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that it can be on all my devices espically because I travel a ton and am very . rough on equipment its easy to log in on a new phone or laptop and get going as if it was the same old one.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make it recognize more security questions etcc.

Sooooo Many Passwords

  • November 12, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have an immense number of passwords. Without an option such as Keeper, I would be lost. I particularly like the ability to share passwords with my wife.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like an option to save “membership” cards as well as payment cards, perhaps even in a separate section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As noted, I have a ridiculous number of passwords, including some for work which must be changed/updated periodically. It would be a challenge to maintain these in a traditional way. (Paper/memory)

Not sure how I got along before Keeper...

  • November 11, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All of my passwords are in one place and they (mostly) auto populate when I am logging into various accounts. I like that my team and I have access without a ton of juggling - it's all in Keeper.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't always work with my browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time savings for sure. Efficiency of managing passwords used by my team. Keeping passwords changed regulalry and very secure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Our tech guy reviewed the many alternatives and chose this one for having the highest security levels. It's been easy to use.

Great Password Manager at a Reasonable Price

  • November 11, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeper does a great job of creating secure passwords for a variety of accounts. Their commitment to security has been great. We have only experienced a very short outage in years of usage so their availability can be counted on. Keeper has been fantastic for shared accounts of which we have a lot. Their sales team is great and was easy to work with. Pricing is very competitive and reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit old school. Keeper did a good update, but the design still feels old.

Support can be a bit slow being email only (unless you buy the higher level support). It can be frustrating when the consumer version gets chat support included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an accounting firm that provides client accounting services to other businesses. As such, there are many shared accounts that we need to be able to access as a team. These accounts tend to be financial in nature so good security is critical. In addition to having a secure method for sharing account credentials, Keeper has made our life so much easier for logging into the many apps we use. Keeper is the only security product that makes us more efficient.
