What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Gong is how it automatically captures and analyzes all sales conversations, giving us deep insights into customer interactions without manual effort. The platform’s analytics and AI‑driven insights help our teams improve messaging, identify risk or opportunity signals, and tailor coaching. Gong integrates smoothly with our CRM and other sales tools, and using it frequently has noticeably boosted team performance and deal outcomes.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Gong delivers powerful insights, some aspects of the user experience could be improved. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users, because of the volume of data and features. Implementation and setup took some initial effort, and filtering or finding specific calls can sometimes be unintuitive. Overall it’s valuable, but smoother navigation and simpler onboarding would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of relying on subjective or incomplete feedback from sales calls by automatically capturing, transcribing, and analyzing all conversations. Before Gong, coaching and deal visibility were limited by what reps reported or managers observed directly, which caused inconsistencies. With Gong, we get objective, searchable insights into every sales interaction, enabling better coaching, faster ramp‑up for new reps, improved messaging consistency, and earlier identification of deal risks or opportunities. This has strengthened our sales performance and forecasting accuracy.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for calls with customers, and I love that there's no need for note-taking during calls because the Gong bot handles it all. This allows me to relax and focus on the calls, knowing I can come back later to full recordings, transcription, and notes, and even gain insights to improve customer outcomes. I appreciate its ease of use; it is intuitive and helpful, doing exactly what you need it to do. The seamless user experience is another aspect that I enjoy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have very little in the way of improvements. Something super minor, if I set up a call last minute and add Gong, it is usually delayed to join as it doesn't have enough time to fully get ready. In the future it would be cool if there is no delay in times of a very last minute call or rescheduled call same day. Other than that I would love to see a live coaching feature implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to avoid note-taking during calls. It handles recording, transcription, and note-taking, allowing me to focus fully on calls. I can later access insights to inform next steps for better customer outcomes.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong to review past calls and get up to speed on historical context for accounts, making me more efficient and productive. I love having the ability to ask Gong any question about accounts, and it will scrape all of the calls to provide me with answers. I also use the forecasting option to understand what retention looks like across my book of business. Additionally, Gong helps me solve a variety of problems, from getting up to speed on accounts to sending snippets of calls over to technical resources and coaching myself on better ways to run calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing big -- sometimes the AI summaries use the room names instead of attendee names, but it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to review past calls for historical context on accounts, analyze retention forecasting, send call snippets to technical resources, and coach myself on running better calls. Gong boosts my efficiency and allows me to ask account-related questions, providing answers by scraping all calls.

What do you like best about the product?
IThe AI summaries are remarkably accurate at identifying key topics discussed, objections raised, and commitments made by both sides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the AI misattributes a comment to the wrong speaker in multi-participant calls, and action items can sometimes be overly granular. A confidence score or priority ranking on auto-detected action items would be a welcome addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The auto-generated action items save our team an estimated 3–5 hours per week per rep — time that was previously spent writing follow-up notes and cross-referencing recordings. The ability to share summaries with stakeholders who weren't on the call has also improved internal alignment significantly.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for managing my team, evaluating performance, and sharing feedback, which is very helpful. I also like using Gong to share best practices of calls and breaking down the silos of everyone's individual projects. The call summaries are particularly useful, and being able to see the sales forecast is also helpful. The initial setup was easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team summary feedback. It would be great to get an email from my entire team summarizing their performance on calls. Too much silence, too many filler words, give me feedback summary for me to review. Consolidate the feedback for managers.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for sales purposes to generate pipeline. I find it incredibly helpful that it creates a summary of the calls and registers them. I particularly like the summaries and the next step suggestions, which are essential for creating reports on the calls and scheduling follow-ups with clients. The AI drafts allow me to copy the information without having to write it manually, enabling me to be more present in the call without taking notes. With 5-6 calls per day, preparing summaries myself would take hours, so Gong significantly streamlines this process for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer a summary of the calls I did during the week to schedule any immediate follow ups. I think having the program reminding you to schedule a call to follow up or sending you an invite in the calendar if the client already agrees to it would be useful. We were not onboarded immediately, but I think our team is not always considered sales so they forget to put it in our configuration.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the summary feature of Gong very useful for the implementation team. We use it extensively to send out invoices and create recruitment documents. The setup was pretty simple thanks to its user-friendly interface. Additionally, Gong is linked to Slack and Rocketlane, allowing us to easily get call summaries.
What do you dislike about the product?
We usually have a lot of Huddl codes. So even if you invite, it will take around five to ten minutes for Gong to join. If you can improve that time where the recorder joins the call for ad hoc codes, it would be awesome if we can fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to understand requirements and discussions. It's great for managing the onboarding process and provides useful summaries for the implementation team. We extensively use it for sending invoices and creating documents.
