How accurately it records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings to help with sales cycles, customer engagement, and forecasting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform falls short in terms of feature and function parity compared to Outreach, and its user experience is not as seamless. Additionally, the absence of a Dark Mode is disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pipeline building, maintaining Salesforce hygiene, and prioritizing opportunities based on their likelihood to close are all important aspects of my workflow. Gong provides comprehensive data and analysis that help me address each of these areas effectively.
Saves Time with Smart Call Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong incredibly valuable because it records my sales calls for later review, which is essential for referencing back to conversations and training purposes. This feature allows me to concentrate on actively listening and engaging in conversations with prospects without the distraction of taking detailed notes. I also love the ability to search for specific words and be taken to the exact moment in a conversation, dramatically decreasing the time it takes to act on items from a call. The integration with my company's SSO made logging in a seamless process, contributing to a smooth setup experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a missed opportunity that Gong doesn't automatically use AI to draft a follow-up email by the time I finish my call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to record sales calls, improving referencing and training. It saves time on note-taking, enhances focus on listening, and helps me quickly access conversation moments, reducing time to action items.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides comprehensive visibility into my team's revenue, forecasting, and activity, while also capturing key business insights from every customer engagement. I could not imagine running a Sales function without a tool like Gong to support strategic and tactical sales decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you need to upload an Excel sheet to set sales targets within the Forecasting module is quite archaic when the rest of the platform performs brilliantly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of having a limited understanding and visibility across the sales pipeline and eliminates the human, emotive elements to sales, which often cloud the real position of sales opportunities. The platform eliminates 'happy ears' and provides objective insight and data you can rely on as a Sales Leader, rather than just 'gut feel', instinct and sales team feedback
Seamless Integration and Outstanding Support Elevate Team Performance
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has played a key role in enhancing the performance of our commercial team. The implementation process was straightforward and uncomplicated, and the support provided by the Gong team whenever needed has been excellent. Our commercial team uses the tool daily, sharing call summaries via Slack across various teams, which enables more informed decision-making. Additionally, the wide range of integrations has allowed us to efficiently and effectively connect our Salesforce, Slack, and Gong environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously, we were unable to ask questions at the Company level, but with the latest releases, this limitation has been addressed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility has greatly improved for us. Now, we can monitor the number of calls made, track their duration, and ensure that the correct discovery process, such as MEDDIC, is being followed. What stands out most is our ability to share call summaries and outline next steps across the business using Gong. Previously, none of these capabilities were available to us.

The AI transcription is really good, esp when measured against MEDDICC

The one thing that I would change is making it easier to search for users in calls, I always look people up post call and they might not be very easy to find

Great solution for reflection and personal growth
What do you like best about the product?
Gong integrates with Salesforce which is important for seamless tracking for myself and my team. I also like the coaching tips it provides in regards to patience, ratio of speaking per person, talking speed, and more. It allows you to reflect on your calls and do better the next time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI summary emails miss the most important parts of the convo so I feel like I'm always having to revamp those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to reflect on our conversations and be more mindful in future conversations. It's also a great place to pair share with colleagues and provide feedback to one another. This tool also gives us a chance to ensure we're really solution selling and driving value as opposed to 'feature selling.' I always scan my transcripts for certain words that prompt value selling. And, last, I appreciate the AI summary. While it's not perfect, it gives my email some structure to build off of.
Revolutionized My Customer Interactions—No More Note-Taking!
What do you like best about the product?
How I no longer have to take notes! I can be present with the customer, truly listen, then go back and get exact quotes on what they said their priorities are.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to say that I dislike anything, but I do wish the app offered more proactive coaching. For example, it would be helpful if the app could say something like, "Our research shows the ideal number of questions to ask on a first call is x, but you asked y. Try using these more impactful questions so you can ask fewer overall." Maybe this feature already exists, but if not, it would make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it much easier to prepare for calls later in the sales cycle, and I really appreciate being able to share those calls with key team members, such as SEs and leadership. This helps us work together more effectively to move the deal forward.
Crystal Clear Insights into Customer Conversations
What do you like best about the product?
It helps in clearly showing what's actually happening in customer conversations. Now i can say that no need of relying on guesswork or memory, i have the ability to go back and see exactly where a deal moved forward or stalled. It has helped us a lot me to understand what works,, improve my approach and stay on the same page with the rest of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, everything is going smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved a few big problems like earlier i had to rely on scattered notes or memory to track what happened in calls, which made it easy to miss details or lose context. But now everything is captured and easy to review so i can get the clear picture of each deal without digging through emails or guessing.
