Centralizes Workflows with Effective Call Analysis

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong allows me to prepare for follow-on meetings with its mobile app. It helps me get a recap and potential questions to ask during conversations with prospects. The call recording feature is also great, as it helps me review conversations, base my follow-ups on those, and improve with the ratings it provides for each call. This way, I can scale what works and spot what doesn't. I also appreciate that Gong centralizes work for me in one single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Gong was embedding in Outlook mail, so I can use the templates from Gong directly from Outlook. So I don't have to go back and forth for the emails since I prefer the Outlook interface better than Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to centralize work on a single platform, review call recordings, improve with call ratings, and prepare for follow-up meetings effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the transcripts a few years ago when I first started using Gong. Now with the advent of AI for call summaries and recap email drafting the tool has reached a whole new level of useful. I'm able to join a call with the assurance that each item will be notated and relayed back to me with valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to curate recap emails. While the system captures important details from meetings rather masterfully, I find myself making edits to each draft to sound more like me. If I could input that somewhere on the front end so I could just review and send instead of reviewing, editing, formatting and sending- that would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me stay on top of note-taking and save time on meetings. Before, I would have to interrupt clients on calls as I was notating things by hand. Now I rely on Gong to record and compile important information in a handy summary. And if I need the details, it's all laid out in the transcript.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ai call summary feature at the click of a button. I enjoy using the ai for asking questions about the calls based on my specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s glitchy at times the recorder doesn’t show up. I have to import my calls manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We particularly use Gong for call coaching and we are in the process of adoption for this through our entire sales team. We’ve gotten everyone connected and the next steps are the analyze coaching.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review my calls and colleagues. An old trick in sales is to shadow the top player and learn. I get to do that everyday if I want to.

Sales Enablement is the key to growth and by reviewing I can enable myself rather than rely just on one or two people.

I login everyday and use it for pipeline, learning, and AI before my next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
not really a dislike, more of a feature request. the ability to add format to the AI email writer. I find myself rarely using it because the format screams AI to me. I more use it just to get ideas from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NoteTaking is the biggest. The ability to go back and take notes after the call and use AI to find certain areas. Gives me the ability to be fully present in my call.

What do you like best about the product?
I can focus on the conversation at hand without needing to worry about taking notes or involving other people. Also the AI functionality is a life saver for getting summaries of the convo and writing follow-ups

The voice in the beginning of the call can be a bit unnerving, but you can use it as an ice breaker with prospects

What do you like best about the product?
Transcription of the calls -- because it catches words that I couldn't understand on the phone call itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about it. All the features are quite helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to review and grow more as a Salesperson by being able to listen to past calls with my manager.
If they're from a different country, the transcription feature is super helpful when their accent makes it harder to make out the words.
Being able to leave notes at specific times in the calls to look back on is helpful when you're in the zone just making notes as you go, and can review them later.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides an easy interface for recording live meetings that are then integrated with our CSM platform Gainsight for team members to reference as needed. The transcript and AI insights are useful for quality control and improvement, and the generated notes make it easier to be flexible and engaged during the call since I don't need to worry about taking manual notes or documenting action items. I use it on all of my meetings except where the client's policy limits recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search interface could be improved as it isn't always easy to find all calls for a particular customer or to search by call type/content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated note-taking frees up reps to focus during meetings, and collaboration on recordings makes it easy to share information among the account team

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Gong to review my client calls - not only does it help me to identify areas for improvement, but it also helps me to be fully present on a call rather than rushing to write notes because I know that if I miss something, I can go back and re-listen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Gong can take a few minutes to connect to the call - I wish I could automatically have it turn on when I start the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping to ensure our teams and managers can listen to and learn from each other as well as give feedback on our client call. It also allows us to be fully present and able to listen to our clients rather than stressing about having everything written down.

What do you like best about the product?
I value the ability to have a record of all commitments, exchanges, and follow ups while also being able to present with prospects and clients on calls. It's truly one of the most valuable resources I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has grown significantly over the past 5 years and can be a little clunky from time to time, especially when navigating directly to the recordings of calls. I wish the analysis took less time as well so that a follow up could be sent out within 10 minutes of the call ending.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves many problems at once for me, but primarily ensures that I can deliver on what I've said I would without error.
