As a Customer Success Manager at Apptio, managing multiple accounts, tracking renewals, and ensuring adoption can be overwhelming. Gong helps you stay ahead by giving full visibility into customer conversations, so you don’t have to rely on memory or manual notes. It identifies churn risks early by analyzing sentiment, helping you take proactive steps before renewal discussions. Gong also automates follow-ups, ensuring no action item is missed and keeping internal teams aligned. With Gong, you save time, drive stronger engagement, and focus on growing accounts with data-backed insights rather than just gut feeling.

What do you like best about the product?
In my role as a customer success consultant, it's important that I listen to our customers and provide solid recommendations. Gong helps me focus solely on the customer during our meetings, as I don't have to worry about being distracted by notetaking - Once the meeting is finished the 'Ask Anything' feature within Gong allows me to draw out any particular information I need to follow up with the customer, Gong is a true game changer for anyone in a customer facing role.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything really to dislike about this product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is not missing any information from our meetings - making follow up easier. The built in AI functionality also summarises the meeting in a digestible format for the customer

page load time is sometimes a problem while using Gong

the keywords which it gives out so we can avoid using that in future if its not supposed to be used according to the process

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Insights provided. I like to constantly adapt and learn to make my engagements more productive and meaningful. If I have less than ideal patience, for example, I love knowing this so I can improve it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. I love it. There is nothing I would improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Oftentimes I do not have time to take notes during meetings and fear I will not retain everything discussed. Gong helps me review and document completely.

Great tool for self-reflection!

What do you like best about the product?
The content-recording capability is brilliant. Allowing internal, external, and outbound calls to be recorded. These recordings are then analysed to provide a summary, key points, and other analytical data about said calls. This is helpful when working collaboratively. The AI search feature allows you to search for a specific topic, point, or speaker within the call, adding efficiency between teams and colleagues. The request feedback and generate a follow-up email features are also very useful in all instances. We use it all the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I have experienced is a delay in call recordings being available, but given the level of analytical data provided alongside the call recording, this is manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves miscommunication when working collaboratively.
Solves notetaking inaccuracies.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is super helpful when it comes to performance analysis, drafting summaries, and recalling specific details from a conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usually I have to wait at least an hour before a transcript is available. Sometimes I want to be able to reference the call right after it is completed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to communicate feedback to colleagues and create engaging follow up for prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
The active listening that you are able to do because of how Gong operates is truly top-notch. The detail when it comes to the transcript as well as the meeting overviews make life so much easier as an AE. We use Gong in EVERY meeting that we have with clients and to me it is a need not a want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly cannot think of anything as it is truly a necessary tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of not being able to use client voice form conversations that we had months ago because you might not remember the quotes from those conversations. You can pull those meetings up and it is game-changing.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the tool is amazing in terms of conversational intelligence and how we can get more knowledge about our sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe a little bit more of CS Via live chat. Other tools have it and it's really good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding our sales process, coaching the team, and onboarding new team members.

What do you like best about the product?
super helpful for notes
the ask anything feature is amazing and so time saving
lets you focus on the actual convo instead of note taking
transcript/outline is great too
follow up email AI is solid, could use a bit of work but overall great

none as of now, its been a great tool but maybe the ai follow up email could be a bit more natural

What do you like best about the product?
It give you very good summaries of the calls, it gives you action plans and crates automatically follow ups for you!
You can search the words you need on calls so you can look for what you need quicker and it gives you recommendations according to your role

Nothing really. all good................
