Effortless Exam Management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet to manage exams at a college, and it solves many problems such as timetabling, clashes, managing invigilators, and rooms. I really like how you can preset values, which allows assurances for accurate date inputs. The web-based nature of Smartsheet is a huge factor for us as a business because it doesn't require connecting to VPNs and provides a clear picture of what the team is expected to manage in a full exam cycle. We found the whole setup process very easy to manage, and I love the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often when you sort the rows, the sort removes itself, which can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to handle problems like timetabling, exam clashes, and managing invigilators and rooms. Its web-based nature enhances accessibility, and preset values ensure accurate date inputs.
Intuitive Interface and Automation, Needs Smoother Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet's user interface because it's easy to navigate, similar to Excel, which people are already very familiar with. I also appreciate its auto-notification feature that I can customize. As a project manager, I find it valuable to set follow-up emails and reminders without having to do it manually. It's also great that all stakeholders can see a project's actions in a single sheet with all details, and the auto reminders for overdue tasks are really helpful. The initial setup was very easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have observed that the login process could be simplified. When I share the sheet link with someone who doesn't have an account, the process to open the account and access the shared sheet isn't very smooth. I have to do it multiple times for the user to gain access. Ideally, after clicking the link, it should just ask the user to select a password and then direct them straight to the shared sheet. It should be just a two-step process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to manage cross-functional projects, allowing all stakeholders to see project actions in one place, and it provides customizable auto reminders for overdue tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet's ability to share and allocate tasks efficiently. It sends tasks to the correct department for action, and I can see who has actioned what and what still needs to be done. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limited access so not all are admin and unable to hide, filter certain cells as needed.

I use Smartsheet to monitor shared product information, see who and where actions have been taken, and send tasks to the correct department. It helps share and allocate tasks effectively.
Efficient, Excel-Like Tool with Minor Indentation Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Smartsheet for managing and tracking work in progress as it allows our team to see what everyone is working on all in one place. The feature that lets the team drop in priority comments and color code everything is quite helpful. I appreciate Smartsheet's similarity to Excel, which makes it more familiar and easier to use. It's quite straightforward as a tool, so the initial setup wasn't difficult, especially since other teams within our business were already using it. Our team particularly uses the sheets feature the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outdent and indentation don't seem to be the easiest to use. It doesn't work to the same extent I envision it to. Often I will want to indent a certain line/row, but other cells/rows below may follow suit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows our team to see what everyone is working on all in one place, with the ability to add priority comments and color code tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Can use for a wide range of products and reasons, and it's easy to collaborate with a team or across departments
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it saved in real time, and more than one person could work in a sheet at one time like Google Docs. I have lost a lot of progress on a project before because of the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A way to collect forms across campus and have them translated into a workable Excel style sheet

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Smartsheet has a lot of different functionality. I'm able to generate and customize reports using the different widgets available, which is very helpful for keeping my teams aligned. It's essentially a one-stop shop for all the information we need to communicate back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our primary concern is the cost barrier for super-user access. Although the basic service accommodates multiple users at no cost, Smartsheet recently implemented a significant premium for editing capabilities. This has forced us to restrict document management to a small group of individuals. Ideally, we would enable broader editing permissions across our leadership team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to log customer inquiries across channels and bridge communication between my onshore and offshore teams. It aids in agent onboarding, updates, and issue resolution while aligning our team with customizable reporting features.
Slow Updates, But User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet allows for easy reading of detailed changes, which is important for my work as a traveling hygienist. The specific time slots are really good for my type of work, and it's easy for my users to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updates are kinda slow. My update is not automatic. My notification of the update takes a while. The update notifications are not immediate. They're kinda late. Slowed down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet for scheduling my traveling hygienist work. It's easy for my user, and I like the detail about changes and specific slots. However, the update notifications are slow and not immediate, making scheduling updates challenging.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of Smartsheet. I also appreciate the user interface and integrations. I found Smartsheet easy to learn and use, and it pulls data from Power BI and other sources as needed.

The website could have easy, brief, and clearly titled learning sessions.

Smartsheet Keeps Our Work Schedule Up to Date and Running Smoothly
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet for scheduling at work. It lets me keep the schedule up to date as changes come in, and it runs smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we first started using it for scheduling, it was hard to read with all the information we have because there wasn’t a shaded line on every other row. We’re now able to shade every other line, which clears that up and makes it much easier to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can update the schedule easily, and everyone can view it anytime to see any changes.
