What do you like best about the product?

It send reminders regarding any task that is assigned to us and needs to be completed and we can see the real time progress on the tasks

At times, it becomes slow and lags a bit

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps in better team collaboration across the project since we can see the real time updates on the tasks, and we can know that what task is pending with which team which helps in faster progress

What do you like best about the product?

I really like Smartsheet's ease of use and flexibility, especially its project tracking dashboards, automated workflows, and real-time collaboration features that help keep teams organized and informed. The customizable reports and notifications are also a great feature, making it easier to monitor deadlines, track progress, and improve overall productivity. Additionally, integrating Smartsheet with other tools helps streamline communication, share files, track project data, and improve collaboration across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area where Smartsheet could improve is its pricing, which can be expensive for smaller teams or organizations. Some advanced features also have a learning curve and may require additional training for new users. Additionally, the reporting and dashboard customization options could be more intuitive and offer greater flexibility for complex projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Smartsheet helps in tracking project deadlines, coordinating tasks, and maintaining project visibility. It reduces scattered updates from emails and spreadsheets, making it easier to identify delays. The scheduling tools and automated reminders keep projects on track and improve accountability.

What do you like best about the product?

Automations are pretty powerful. Receiving notifications via email make it very practical.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not exactly live editing. Can't see who else is editing in a fashion similar to Google Sheets. Automatically filling cells when saving cells is a bit clunky and buggy. Not the most practical or intuitve when it comes to formatting cells

Keep track of tasks to perform and lists of assets

What do you like best about the product?

The ability to add information to the spreadsheet like photos etc

What do you dislike about the product?

I wanted it for my team to use but it became a problem when some of my team did not use it therefore defeated the purpose of our single source of truth place

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted a separate area for all things quality and laboratory but we had too many other systems and excel spreadhseet already happening

What do you like best about the product?

I like all of Smartsheet's capabilities and how it's easy to do formulas and have information shared across sheets. I also really like that you can make a dropdown for rows/columns but easily override that if needed. I like that it has a very large capacity and does not get slow with more information being on it. We use the feature that allows us to pull information from one sheet to the other without needing a VLOOKUP, which makes for fewer errors and less work. The dropdowns are helpful for filling in data across many clients for our campaigns, and I appreciate that I can easily override and put in custom info without having to change the whole dropdown list, which makes things faster and more simple.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would love the ability to allow other people to edit certain columns, but not the whole sheet - so that we could lock some columns but not all of them for when we need other teams to contribute to filling information in. I also wish it was simpler to copy and paste. Oh and sometimes, when we have formulas on the sheet - if we're trying to do a drop down in that column there keeps being a box that pops up to show what formulas that cell is used in and it's difficult to make it go away and sometimes it blocks out the drop down that I'm trying to edit.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Smartsheet helps share client data seamlessly across teams, reducing duplication and errors. I use formulas and connect data across sheets without vlookups, simplifying our processes. Its capacity handles large data without slowing down, making our work faster and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?

Collaboration features - it has optimized our work flow to simultaneously work on sheets rather than needing to save, close, transfer (excel).

What do you dislike about the product?

There are some aesthetics features that Excel offers that Smartsheet does not, but that's a minimal concern.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem it has solved is our entire team being able to collaborate in real time where we could not previously using Excel spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?

the UI is intuitive, there are more features than Excel.

What do you dislike about the product?

I can’t work in offline mode, and it would be much better if that were possible. Also, it would be great to have some kind of onboarding to help new users get started.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it to track tasks, keep a list of questions about requirements, and bring those points up in meetings. For me, it’s a board where I can save and organize my work.

What do you like best about the product?

It makes it easy to create collaborative spreadsheets and to organize and share documents. I like the automation, such as receiving notifications when a sheet has been updated.

What do you dislike about the product?

I can't think of anything specifically that would improve it -- it does what I want it to do

It saves time by enabling the team to share information instantly. It provides a single central location to quickly find the info and documents you need

What do you like best about the product?

I really like how Smartsheet can be used to create complex schedules with multiple dependencies. I also find the reporting features very useful.

Some of the automation features are extremely helpful as well, such as automatically sending email notifications triggered by specific conditions.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s quite annoying that Smartsheet quickly “forgets” copied content. The clipboard is cleared almost immediately and doesn’t retain the copied data beyond a single action.

For example, if you copy a row and refresh the page before pasting it — or perform any other action instead of pasting immediately — the copied row is lost. It’s really inconvenient that you can’t perform additional actions between copying and pasting without risking losing the copied data.

I also don’t like that cells don’t have their own independent addresses. If you need to reference a cell or column in a formula, you have to type the column header instead. This process is quite fiddly, especially since column headers can be fairly long. It would be much more convenient to have a standard letter-number grid similar to Excel (e.g. A1, B5, etc.).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Smartsheets are a great solution for projects with complex schedules and workflows. They are user-friendly and easy to use, even if you are not very good with spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?

I think it’s a good tool overall, but it still has room for improvement.

What do you dislike about the product?

As a new user, I find it difficult to understand and get started with.

It’s a good tool for collaborating with other users who are working on similar or related projects, and it helps me keep track of the current status.
