What do you like best about the product?

The ability to split out different deadlines into sub-deadlines is useful. As is the option to allocate different sub-deadlines to different people. The interface is user-friendly.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike the formatting / branding of the app.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's solving deadline management problems by putting everything in one place, making it easier to stay organised.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Smartsheet because it makes it easy to track tasks, update status, and manage work in one place. It helps me stay organized and makes teamwork easier.

What do you dislike about the product?

It takes time to understand all the features. Apart from that, it is a useful tool for managing work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Smartsheet helps me track purchase requests, monitor PO status, and manage updates in one place. It makes it easier to follow up on pending tasks, stay organized, and coordinate with team members, saving time in my daily procurement work.

What do you like best about the product?

Right now, I mainly use the templated sheets, along with the new AI functionality, to help me with formulas in the cells.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the main issue is the changing UI. Sometimes I miss the update emails, and when you’re busy it’s easy to overlook them. Aside from that, everything is good.

Anything project management! We use Control Center to keep our templates standardised and consistent across projects.

What do you like best about the product?

Our team works from shared sheets for monthly client exits, portfolio allocations and our Rentguard policy register. Everyone works from the same live version, so we no longer email spreadsheets back and forth. I like being able to @mention colleagues on a specific row. It’s a quick way to flag a policy that needs updating before it expires, and the email alerts mean nothing gets missed.

What do you dislike about the product?

Access requests can slow things down. When a new monthly sheet is created, I sometimes have to request edit access and wait for approval before I can start. The notification emails could also be more compact.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It gives us one reliable record for exits, allocations and policy renewals across the team. That cuts down on version confusion and follow-up emails, and it makes it easy to see who’s responsible for each item.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s very useful for tracking tasks and it also helps with collaboration. Automation is another great feature that I really like.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes it lags and freezes, which can be frustrating. I also wish it included some graphics or charts to show progress more clearly and make it easier to understand at a glance.

Most people tend to take advantage of it, especially within the organization, and it is used by other members to delegate even their own responsibilities.

Project and portfolio tracking and reporting, along with the reports that can be generated from it, tailored to my specific audience.

The AI functionality is still too basic in my assessment.

I can do project reviews and reporting using PowerPoint, which is useful, but it’s also a total waste of time. With Smartsheet, everything updates in real time as we discuss, and being familiar with the dashboard makes it a lot easier to stay aligned with the team.

What do you like best about the product?

We use Smartsheet to solve a lot of problems. We use it to manage and report on our project portfolio, and we use forms and automations to provide the organisation with a simple way of submitting new project requests, and ensuring we have a workflow for assessing and authorising requests. We also use Smartsheet to schedule and manage individual projects, and we have a customised dashboard for project managers to report on their projects. We also us a table with forms to allow vendors to submit information for software security evaluations. In short, Smartsheet is a flexible toolbox that enables us to quickly solve a variety of problems.

What do you dislike about the product?

We haven't run into a lot of problems. I have found that new users really do need training in order to populate a project schedule. If they aren't prepared to undertake the training they often populate schedules incorrectly, ie by ignoring dependencies and instead just entering start and finish dates directly against tasks. So, you might say that without training the project schedule is a little counterintuitive, but then with the proper training it's fine.

We use Smartsheet to manage our project portfolio, and report on it. We use smartsheet forms to intake new project requests and to get information from vendors in response to software security assessments. The forms are really good. I love that we can fully customise a form, including the logic by which it askes questions, and then put it in the vendors hands as simply as sending them an email with a URL in it. We also use Smartsheet to plan, manage and report on individual projects. We have created 3 templates for different sized projects that are pre-populated with our standard project phases, required tasks and documentation. This saves time and ensures consistency across projects, especially when project managers are contractors. In order to size projects we have created a project sizing tool in Smartsheet, and a project prioritization tool. These help us assign the right resources to projects and instruct governance committee and stakeholders about the reasons for our choices.
