One of the challenges with Smartsheet is that it can become difficult to manage when there are many sheets and frequent updates. It can also be time-consuming to navigate between different sheets, and filtering or searching for specific information isn't always as intuitive as it could be. Performance can sometimes slow down with larger sheets, making day-to-day work less efficient.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It centralizes task tracking and team collaboration, making it easier to monitor progress, manage workloads, and ensure accountability. This helps us stay organized, reduce missed tasks, and work more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like about using smartsheet is I can ask someone to update selected fields without giving access to the entire sheet and also the dynamic view feature which can expose only relevant records or fields without sharing the source sheet

the higher ongoing cost per user, most work requires an internet connection,

We use Smartsheet as a centralised source of truth where all relevant project information, tasks, timelines, responsibilities, and updates are stored and managed in one place. This reduces the need to maintain multiple files and helps prevent duplicated, outdated, or conflicting information. Team members can access the latest data in real time, making it easier to monitor progress, coordinate activities, and ensure everyone is working from the same information.

Smartsheet also improves visibility and accountability by clearly showing task owners, deadlines, project status, and outstanding actions. Its automated reminders and notifications reduce manual follow-ups, while dashboards and reports allow us to quickly identify priorities, delays, and potential issues. Overall, it helps us save time, streamline communication, and manage our work more consistently and efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Smartsheet helps ensure deliverables don't fall through the cracks by linking multiple objects to a single task. It's pretty quick and easy to edit, update, and configure the system to meet my needs. Smartsheet serves as a unifying tool for managing many projects simultaneously. I find it valuable for linking with Box and using features like dynamic formatting based on status. It allows me to track many details and quickly delve into open documents to solve problems on the spot. Our team can manage everything through Smartsheet, making it an all-encompassing tool. The switch from Excel improved our collaboration tremendously, thanks to the online, remote collaboration ability. The setup was straightforward, and Smartsheet is as easy to use as Excel.

What do you dislike about the product?

I feel like the workflow features in Smartsheet could be improved. It would be great if, when a task is done, we could get notifications for specific people, and as each person completes a task, the next person is automatically notified. It would also help if the task could be moved or copied to a different file or area, keeping everything organized and at the same stage.

I use Smartsheet for tracking deliverables and ensuring they don't fall through the cracks. It allows linking multiple objects to tasks, easily editing, updating, and configuring. It's a unifying tool for many simultaneous projects, enhancing collaboration by letting us edit and update in one place.

What do you like best about the product?

The ability to turning data into insights is a great advantage of using smartsheet. Dashboards is a great tool that helped me shine brighter at work. The UI is quite easy for integration of ideas and increases performance.

What do you dislike about the product?

ROI is good, but the price is a little higher than expected. The price does match the value but I believe that cheaper would support more people.

We had a problem with visibility into our work, and Smartsheet helped solve it with its dashboard feature. Setting things up was straightforward, and finding help when I needed it was easy. Overall, the onboarding experience felt smooth and clear. AI played a crucial role.

What do you like best about the product?

Anyone familiar with Excel or Google Sheets can get started quickly, but Smartsheet adds collaboration, automation, reporting, and security that standard spreadsheets simply don't provide.

Some premium capabilities are locked behind higher subscription plans, which may not suit smaller organisations.

It eliminates version-control problems and scattered project files by giving everyone access to one shared workspace.

Smartsheet is not that easy to set up. Once you spent the efforts to establish the Workspace, it does provide a platform for the team members to share and update.

The dislike is the learning curve. It is not straightforward to set it up.

Yet to be seen but as a company, we want to engage more usages on Smartsheets for more project managements.

It's easy to access and navigate. Helpful to track clients and tasks. Instead of manually emailing team members for status updates, we can build visual, logic-driven workflows.

It's just Smartsheet lacks real-time autosave, forcing users to save manually. Closing a browser tab unexpectedly or editing the same cell as a teammate can easily result in lost progress or overwritten data.

It combines the familiar look of a spreadsheet with the power of a modern database. Beyond simple rows, you can attach files, track task dependencies, and seamlessly switch between Calendar views in a single click. Can also build dynamic, real-time dashboards that aggregate metrics, charts, and KPIs across dozens of underlying sheets automatically.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Smartsheet for tracking my workload, transforming messy data into organized data that is accessible and easy to manipulate. I love the aesthetics and functionalities, as well as the ability to manipulate colors, data, and icons. The initial setup was very easy, and I rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to others.

Mobile functionality is useful for quick updates but doesn't offer the same experience as the desktop version.

It improves communication between teams by centralising project information, reducing duplicate work, and keeping everyone updated in real time.

The best thing is that it's really user-friendly, easy to use, and very useful for our daily work.

In our company we have two emails addressed and sometimes is confusing to which email send the request.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using it to share information about our invoices in a quicky way.
