What do you like best about the product?

I absolutely love the Smartsheet platform; it's been a game-changer for my career. I appreciate its user-friendliness and ease of getting started. The platform provides tremendous time savings, returning up to 5000 hours every school year. I find Smartsheet's ease in managing budgets incredibly helpful, especially with our district's current funding challenges. The platform's user interface, which is intuitive like an Excel spreadsheet, makes it easy to set up and use. Their Smartsheet University is incredibly helpful for learning, and I recommend it to our members. I also like the integration with apps and tools such as Gmail, which is incredibly helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish Smartsheet would provide more control to the System Administrator role for each organization's account. For example, our district has a strict policy prohibiting student information in Smartsheet. However, we have seen instances where a student has been shared to an item and created an account, which is forbidden by our governance policies. It would be great if we could turn off the auto-provisioning member feature, allowing us to decide who becomes a member. This is a concern, especially with the implementation of their USM pricing model. Additionally, our district IT department has restricted the use of certain Smartsheet connectors, taking away some of our options, though I hope this changes as technology improves.

Smartsheet saves us 5000 hours yearly and helps manage budgets, track hires, and eliminate paper processes. It's been a game-changer for my career, offering transparency and cost management. Its user-friendliness and Smartsheet University make it easy to leverage for any problem.

What do you like best about the product?

For our user, I like the ease of use, but for myself, I like the Admin Center.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like to see better communication regarding new feature releases, instead of after the fact.

Project management and data storage.

The different formats (Gantt, Card) are a bit confusing to me, so I mainly use the Grid and Calendar. I would like a thorough explanation of how to use these, preferably over video.

Smartsheet helps me organize my data and projects from various different platforms, which was difficult to pull together in one place

Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of managing info and tasks across multiple projects and teams.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how Smartsheet allows collaboration on schedule building and maintenance across teams. The cell link feature is really valuable as I create reports with cell links to milestones in schedules for the programs. It allows for the schedule to be the source of truth and reduces user burden from updating multiple places. The initial setup was pretty straightforward and easy, and loading in Microsoft Project schedules is quick.

What do you dislike about the product?

I have issues with the load times and sync problems in Smartsheet. They could be faster.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using Smartsheet, I can collaborate on schedule building, making it my single source of truth and reducing my need to update in multiple places.

To improve user experience, consider optimizing load times and enhancing sync capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?

I’d love the ability to send emails that include fields for people to fill out, with their responses automatically populating in Smartsheet. That would be incredibly useful for collecting, organizing, and tracking information more efficiently.

Yet another app to have to manage all the links connecting to all the data sources

I use Smartsheet for project management and really appreciate that it automates repetitive tasks and sends alerts. I like the strong dashboards and real-time rollup features, which make team management very easy for me on a daily basis. The initial setup was very easy as well.

I find Smartsheet's pricing to be expensive, and there are integration hurdles that can be frustrating. It would be better if it could be a little cheaper.

I use Smartsheet to automate repetitive tasks, send alerts, and manage my team easily with strong dashboards and real-time rollups for tracking budgets.

What do you like best about the product?

I do find it fairly easy to build forms and track status of various projects. Certainly has helped with quite a few workflows within our office, and improved processing times on various requests, ensuring higher customer satisfaction.

What do you dislike about the product?

Lack of ability to block spam entries and responses. This has been an increasing problem over the last few months. Also, we had been notified of increased costs associated with our enterprise license, which does not seem to have been the case with peers at other institutions. This is leading us to consider moving away from SmartSheets to another solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Primarily being used for customers to make requests and update records. We use this to process updates across platforms, such as internal systems, SEVIS, and other data management resources.

I find Smartsheet has effectively helped me track project activities by providing a single source of truth for tracking project progress and risks. It was easy to set up, and my whole team has switched to using Smartsheet, becoming more accustomed to it.
