Great all-in-one platform for social management, but a bit pricey
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Sprout Social is how easy it makes managing multiple social accounts. The dashboard is super intuitive, the scheduling tools are a lifesaver, and the reporting actually helps me see what’s working without getting lost in data. I also love the Smart Inbox—it keeps everything organized and makes it way easier to stay on top of messages and mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Sprout Social is that it can get pretty pricey, especially if you need access for a larger team. Some of the analytics take a while to load, and a few reports feel a bit limited unless you upgrade. It’s a powerful tool, but sometimes I wish the pricing scaled more flexibly with how you actually use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps streamline everything from scheduling and publishing to monitoring and reporting. Instead of bouncing between platforms, I can manage all our accounts, track engagement, and measure performance in one place. It saves a ton of time, keeps our team aligned, and gives us clearer insights into what content actually drives results.
Great Tagging and Reporting, But Social Listening Lags Behind
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag your social posts so you can organize and report on specific topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The delay when it comes to social listening. Not in real-time which sometimes can be a hindrance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling a better understanding of what kind of content our customers want and are interested in, and then being able to build on that.
Intuitive Social Management, But Reporting Customization Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a helpful aggregator for multiple different inputs of Social Monitoring in an extremely user-friendly way. I have used other enterprise social management tools like Sprinklr and overall, find Sprout to be far more intuitive and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are aspects of Sprout Social that I find to be lacking within reporting, specifically in the customization and how to compare different data sets against one another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is a helpful aggregator for multiple different sources of social data and insights in one place; social listening, social activity through owned accounts, social performance.
Great for Popular Influencers, But Needs Better Filtering for Niche Creators
What do you like best about the product?
We use Sprout Social for influencer marketing and it can be helpful to learn about some of the most popular creators on the market. They do a great job about sharing typical creators.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find new/smaller creators. I feel like I have to enter multiple variations of keywords to see new creators that fit the persona I am trying to reach. Recently, I've been getting a lot of creators who aren't brand-safe and creators who don't actually match the filters I've input (i.e. me filtering for creators who live in the US and then being shown creators who live in Europe)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us understand the creators that we want to use for different brands. One of the main advantages we find is being able to show audience data about the types of people that follow the creators make sure they're helping us reach our brand's target audience. It's also incredibly helpful for reviewing past partnerships a creator has had with different brands.
AI Update Made Sprout Social Clunky and Less Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Its search speed and performance are reliable, reporting remains clean and easy to export, and the integration options across social channels are solid. If Sprout can combine its previous usability with more powerful AI insights, it could become great again — but for now, it’s just fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Sprout Social’s recent “AI-friendly” upgrade, the platform feels clunkier and less intuitive. The redesign sacrificed several useful legacy features, and the overall workflow isn’t as smooth as it used to be. The creator search tool, while fast, lacks depth — it struggles to surface niche talent or provide meaningful content analysis, which makes it hard to use for serious creator discovery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding creators
Super Convenient, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Convenience of the platform and makes my job easier. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost for the product is extreme compared to similar platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like to see everything in one place. It helps me stay aware on what's happening.
Comprehensive Social Media Solutions, Needs Better Facebook Image Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that when I think of something I want to be able to do on social media, they have a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more integration with the picture formates in Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a new user, about 4 weeks now, and I'm still delving into it's capabilities. As of right now it's enabling me to post weeks in advance. I like that.
Great Analytics and Reporting, But Unreliable Posting and Rising Costs
What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar system, being able to track down posts from others, and the analytics all in one spot. The reports are extremely helpful for us in use in client reports on a quarterly basis. We also like utilizing the optimized times for each platform and love new features like editing per post per platform right in the same window and TikTok/Reels publishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been more than a handful of times posts don't get published. We also have noticed a steady increase in price every year since we started our set up. This past year, it wasn't communicated transparently and the invoices came in as if we cancelled, were refunded, and then started a new membership. I think better explanation around this and transparency as to why the price increase would not only help us understand but also pass the information better to our clients which we use this service for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the amount of time spent scheduling posts on multiple platforms and the ease in which it takes to analyze cross platform campaigns and results.
Great for Cross-Channel Insights, Needs Better Bot Filtering
What do you like best about the product?
Cross channel comparisons make measuring social results easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social monitoring is not good at tuning out bots and inconsequential content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics were all located in one place and made managing multiple channels easy.
Detailed Account Management and Flexible Reporting for Large Corporates
What do you like best about the product?
The level of detail available for managing multiple accounts within a large corporate company. There is also great flexibility in pulling reports and creating dashboards for specific campaigns. It is also useful being able to tag content within various themes and campaigns to see the impact in reports right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the level of detail and flexibility is very useful, sometimes I think it can be too-much: that sprout is sometimes overcomplicated. For example, when building reports there are so many options, so many pull downs and different ways to cut the data. This can sometimes be laborious when you need quick info, and could perhaps be improved with AI features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complexity of creating and managing content across multiple accounts within one organisation. Having a central platform we can all use to store and access data is very useful.
