Reliable Reporting and Clean Dashboards, But Analytics Need Depth/Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has somewhat reliable data collection and export features that make reporting and analysis straightforward. It’s easy to navigate once you’re familiar with the platform, and it integrates well across social channels for pulling basic metrics. The dashboards look clean and professional, which helps when sharing reports internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Publishing tools often cause formatting issues with images and links when posts go live. Social listening metrics have been inconsistent and hard to trust compared to other platforms. The analytics feel focused on surface-level vanity metrics instead of meaningful engagement insights, and some simple features, like sticky date ranges or flexible metric options, are surprisingly clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps centralize and organize our social performance data in one place, which streamlines basic reporting across platforms. It’s useful for quick overviews and exports, though we still rely on native platform analytics for the most accurate and actionable insights. The benefit is mainly convenience, not depth of analysis.
Visually Appealing and User-Friendly, But Feature Limits Hold It Back
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's platform is visually appealing and becomes quite user-friendly after spending a few weeks getting familiar with its layout. We mainly use it to schedule Instagram content and take advantage of its LinkInBio feature, which has significantly improved how our social team manages their content.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, there are some platform limitations tied to different plans that restrict access to certain features. For example, adding URL parameters for tracking is only available in higher tiers, even though many alternative tools provide this functionality for free in their basic versions. The onboarding process felt overwhelming because it involved explanations for all the various tabs. Additionally, I found it challenging that reports are scattered across different sections, making it difficult to combine them easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a time management standpoint, Sprout helps our team save significant time and effort when it comes to managing and scheduling posts on Instagram. The platform also offers useful tagging features, which make it easier for us to monitor campaign performance for our clients and keep track of our internal initiatives.
Easy Navigation to social posts and Helpful Filters, But Missing UGC Collection
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy access to go from Sprout to the native social channel and see the post its referring to. The filters for post performance are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres no UGC collection. Also the tagging system isn't my favorite. With another service there is sections and tags within those sections that make it more user friendly. So instead of having to remember each tag, you just fill out each section with the proper tags ensuring you don't miss any tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting all data and organizing it.
Intuitive Scheduling and Customization, But Tagging and Reports Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Instagram grid. Customize posts per network. Scheduling is very straightforward and intuitive. Customer support is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tagging isn't great on LinkedIn and FB. Report is a bit weak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing social media across multiple channels/brands. Improving the brand consistency by having a unified platform for scheduling, monitoring, and analytics.
Excellent Analytics, But YouTube Metrics Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics feature is my favorite. I think it's really easy to break down by social platform, content, and time periods. Compared to other social platforms, Sprout makes it really clear to look at all the relevant metrics and also allows you to get even more granular if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if it's just me, but I don't like that the YouTube metrics don't reflect accurately. Compared to native YouTube analytics, the Sprout data is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows me to analyze all of our platform performance. It helps me break down content performance which supports new content testing, allows me as a social media manager to test new content effectively. It also helps me look at data by metrics and compares it to different periods which is helpful when tracking campaign performance.
User-Friendly with Powerful Scheduling Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly Sprout Social is, making it quite easy for our team, especially new members, to integrate it into our workflow quickly. The intuitive interface significantly aids in streamlining our processes. I particularly appreciate the post queuing and approval process features, which are essential for our social media management. Being able to document, approve, and review changes in queued posts greatly aids in team collaboration and ensures a smoother workflow. Additionally, its ability to help us manage our scheduling and logistics for various social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Blue Sky, and Instagram simplifies our task of keeping up with numerous observable dates and events. This feature allows us to plan and prepare posts in advance, considerably reducing the workload on our day-to-day operations. Overall, Sprout Social provides a streamlined, efficient solution that enhances our productivity and team coordination.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that Sprout Social took a considerable amount of time to integrate with Blue Sky, causing delays in its usability within our platforms. Additionally, the content moderation, specifically comment moderation, isn't as robust as I would like. It would be highly beneficial if Sprout Social offered a feature to toggle the comment options on and off for different platforms while queuing posts in advance. Unfortunately, this functionality is currently lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to ensure timely social media posting, handle logistics and analytics, and moderate comments, easing the workload by queuing posts in advance and tracking events, thereby aiding our team's efficiency and planning.

Quickly posting to multiple platforms
User-Friendly Platform for All Channels, But Pricing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Easy platform. Works well for all channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pay structure does not work for us. We had multiple users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to get our brand and messaging out there.
Comprehensive Tools That Cover Many Needs
What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers comprehensive set of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is difficult to access when funky things happen on the platform which is somewhat frquently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Influencer metrics tracking
Streamlined Scheduling in Feed, Stories are another Story
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Sprout's calendar feature, it makes posting and scheduling posts streamlined across platforms. It was pretty straight forward to get connected to all of our accounts and just as easy to see metrics. Data is key and Sprout has made making reports much more simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest gripe I have with the platform is the inability to post stories on social platforms from the desktop application. The process of sending a push notification to your phone in order to post a story doesn't really streamline the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining social posting and data collection
