Efficient Community Management, but Limited User Accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Smart Inbox for community management and the Insight Tool for reporting. The Smart Inbox makes it easy to keep up with community comments and respond within the platform, especially since I don't have native access to the accounts I manage. The Insight Tool is really useful for tagging different types of posts we create. By filtering those tags, I can easily see metrics by content type, which previously had to be done manually, saving me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that only one user can be signed in at a time. I am constantly having to resign in when other teammates previously used it, and that I cannot be in Sprout Social while another teammate is using it. It slows down our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for community management and reporting. It eases responding to comments without native access and provides insights for reporting. The Smart Inbox makes managing community comments easy, and the Insight Tool saves time by tagging and filtering post metrics.
An Essential Tool Despite LinkedIn Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Sprout Social is to use, and I appreciate the frequent updates. The team is always improving the platform, and it makes reporting a breeze. I couldn't do my role without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is limited in what data it can pull from LinkedIn, so sometimes we're limited in what we can report on. It's an API issue though and not a Sprout issue, but it does hurt my ability to fully support our social operational needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social gives me a consolidated platform for managing multiple social channels and simplifies reporting for various needs, streamlining day-to-day social media operations.
All Accounts and Data in One Place for Easy Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that all my accounts are in one place and the data is also in one spot for easy enough reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the price for more centralized data (such as a dashboard) is absurd. Our basic plan is about $8k a year and to upgrade to even a level above, we were quoted $25K. That's an insane jump, especially for a business using 1 login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, centralizing all things social for us is super helpful. Scheduling, reporting, categorizing content.
User-Friendly Scheduling, Collaboration, and Invaluable Metrics Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is very user friendly and easy to learn and understand. I love that I can publish social posts in advance, and it gives me optimal times for posting. I also like that I can go back and edit the time the posts are published.
In addition, Sprout makes it easy to collaborate with other members of my organization. We're able to work cross functionally, and that is very appreciated.
In addition, Sprout's metrics reports are invaluable when it comes to insights on what's working (and what's not) and reporting. The high-level numbers are great to share with senior members of my organization, who may not always understand all facets of social media strategy.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I love the metrics reports, they can sometimes be hard to generate without help from senior members of our social media team who really know the platform inside and out.
However, once I am able to filter out what I need, these reports are great!

Time Management & Strategic Scheduling
Sprout solves the challenge of being tied to real-time social posting. Instead of having to be online at specific moments, you can batch-create content and let Sprout's optimal timing recommendations handle publication. This frees up your time for other strategic work—especially valuable when you're managing comprehensive communications across multiple channels for Mack Trucks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Complexity
In a large organization like Volvo Group, getting teams aligned on social strategy is tough. Sprout eliminates the friction of working in silos or passing content through email chains. You and your colleagues can collaborate directly in the platform, which means faster approvals, clearer communication, and less back-and-forth.
Data Interpretation for Mixed Audiences
Social media metrics can be overwhelming and hard to translate for non-specialists. Sprout solves this by providing high-level, digestible reports that let you communicate impact to executives who don't live in social analytics daily. This bridges the gap between what's actually happening on your channels and what leadership needs to understand.
Measuring What Actually Works
Without solid insights, you're essentially guessing at strategy. Sprout gives you concrete data on performance, so you can confidently say "this content resonates" or "we need to adjust that approach"—backed by numbers rather than intuition.

Streamlined Multi-Profile Management with Robust Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I like the analytics reporting and ease of use of Sprout Social. It's easy to create reports for clients on what channels are performing well and what posts are doing well. The reporting feature makes it easy to see analytics from an overhead view.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I dislike that the view function for approval posts is not always accurate. Even if a post has the first 100 characters indented on some platforms, the view function doesn't actually show where the post will be cut off with the 'see more' button on the platform.","I find it difficult when accounts get disconnected without password changes, which makes it tough to set up new accounts and maintain them within the platform."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for managing multiple profiles and accounts across Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook for agency work. It makes it easy to create reports on channel performance and post analytics, helping me manage client media accounts efficiently.
Reliable Posting, Insightful Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using the reporting feature in Sprout Social and the post feature, as they help highlight what kinds of posts are performing the best. I also appreciate being able to tag posts with different categories like video, photo, carousel, and graphic, which helps identify the form of content that works best for each client. The initial setup wasn't difficult, and I like that everyone can have their own login via different emails, which is helpful. Sprout Social is more reliable when it comes to posts actually getting published compared to our previous tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some issues with connectivity on Sprout Social. Some team members don't have any issues, but others, including myself, have problems, especially with an Instagram account disconnecting frequently. We have to reconnect it every few days, which is frustrating. It's not every account, just certain ones, and we're trying to troubleshoot that right now. Maintaining the connections can be a little tricky sometimes because they sometimes disconnect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social puts all our client accounts in one platform and allows us to gather detailed analytics through reports.
Effortless Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sprout Social because it reduces the hassle in taking care of my social media portfolio. Its ease of use stands out to me, making it straightforward to navigate and manage social tasks. I also appreciate its integration with all major social media platforms, which simplifies my workflow and enhances my ability to monitor both my performance and that of my competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a physical app that I could download instead of adding a web page. It would reduce the number of times the server refreshes because of a memory load. I think having a desktop app would increase how efficient my workload would be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social reduces the hassle of managing my social media portfolio with social listening, post scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Efficient Social Media Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social predominantly for building a social calendar and scheduling regular posts. I love the ease of building the calendar, creating multiple posts in one, and moving them around when other priorities come up. It helps keep me organized and prioritize social campaigns, saving time during execution. I can make notes throughout the year about upcoming dates for specific posts and schedule them in advance to easily see the week's focus and identify any gaps. The initial setup was pretty painless, and the user experience is great, which was one of the key reasons we chose this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the reporting - I find that what I see in Sprout Social as far as numbers doesn't necessarily match up with what I am seeing natively in the various channels. I also wish the story capabilities for the platforms were a bit more sophisticated so that I could add audio, stickers, etc. I miss the Canva integration! That was super helpful for me when I was scheduling posts across different social platforms. Now I have to create the individual images and download them in advance, which is another step in the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to build a social calendar and schedule posts. It keeps me organized, helps prioritize campaigns, saves time in execution, and allows me to see weekly focus and fill gaps.
One Inbox, Simple Scheduling, and Helpful Analytics—Sprout Makes Work Smoother
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Sprout for me is having all messages and comments in just one inbox. It makes responding faster and keeps things from getting lost. Scheduling posts is also very simple, and the calendar view helps me plan content in advance. The analytics are helpful because I can easily see which posts perform better and adjust my strattegy. It has made my daily work smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel overwhelming at first sight. I think the platform could improve by making some tools more simple and faster to access. It’s a good tool overall, but it could be more intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently checking Google and Yelp reviews and making sure all customers are getting a response and also a resolution in most cases. It's really easy to navigate through those hundreds of reviews through Sprout and keep an organized flow in our journey.
