Sprout Social makes it easy to manage and schedule posts across all my platforms in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Sprout Social has streamlined my social media workflow and saved me a lot of time. It’s a reliable tool for tracking engagement and staying organized with social content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Sprout Social doesn’t display all of the comments we receive. I’ll see them on the native platforms, but they don’t always appear in the Smart Inbox, which occasionally requires me to reach out to Sprout support for assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to track comment themes across our campaigns, including what people are saying and the data behind it. Sprout does a great job with their tagging system, which allows us to report on the most common themes and sentiment to share with our clients.
Good for scheduling content in advance

I can easily schedule content for many platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video quality goes down when schedule though sprout.

Using Sprout as a Comment Moderator for Several Client Accounts.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing several accounts on social media, comment moderation, responding to audience live.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be time saving to have a feature that enables bulk applying tags to different messages, by ticking a box for each message and selecting tags that apply to all of them at once.
The Insights info isn't live and sometimes takes hours or days to be updated, which is not very useful on getting feedback on your progress on a work load you are in the process of completing
The tasks option is not very efficient and can be improved.

Comment moderation for multiple accounts across different social media platforms, mostly.
Great for quick and easy reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout has campaign tags and that I am able to post schedule my content with time optimizations and AI support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, with the strict API for specific social platforms, we find ourselves restricted from metrics for YouTube, LinkedIn, and X
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for me to do a comparison between periods and years, and also gives me specific mentions of our brand to track.
Keeps me organized, but is still limited
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout helps me keep an organized calendar of all of our social posts, across all platforms. It's a great software for planning and social listening. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling feature, while helpful, does not allow you to add a location, tags, or other important features when posting. It is especially limited when scheduling TikToks. Our accounts also frequently disconnect from Sprout, which adds the extra step of reconnecting the accounts before I schedule a post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout solves the problem of manually gathering data on post reach, engagements, and impressions. It's nice that the platform automatically summarizes all of that data for me. However, when the accounts get disconnected, this can sometimes cause issue.

The software is easy to use and has helped me become more time-efficient.

The cost has gone up, and the system has started to experience more glitches.

Great tool for large scale management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have multiple seats and the organization that the team has using the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you cannot do everything you could do if you were posting straight from the social media platform app.

Publishing content across multiple platforms at a large scale.
Useful features, responsive support, and comprehensive reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I've really enjoyed being able to map out my content calendar across multiple social accounts all on a single view on the calendar tab. It's great to be able to see everything at a glance like that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling feature can be kind of glitchy. We schedule things in advance, but we still have to worry about them and check up on them as sometimes, for unknown reasons, the posts will give us a failed error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout saves me a lot of time when monitoring and responding to comments and DMs. Instead of logging into a dozen separate accounts and reviewing the comments on platform, I can view them all in one inbox and knock out my responses in one work session.
Good tool, but pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has a lot of helpful features, especially for teams that have a lot of content to schedule and work on an approval basis. It's easy to schedule and view content for the month and sort by content type and approval status. The reporting features are nice and it's easy to view multiple different KPI's depending on the platform. Customer support was always helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't always stay up to date on newest changes to social media - other platforms introduced first comment capability on Facebook and Sprout does not have them, Sprout just introduced the ability to upload a document to LinkedIn after other platforms have had this feature for awhile. Also, it seems like the charge for every additional feature and charge a high fee per user. Their AI features are also so-so.

Scheduling a large amount of content for our business and helping us track our analytics for organic social media.
Makes Social Posting More Productive, with a few caveats
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social makes it easy to create and schedule a large number of social posts all at once. It is easy to see the full calendar month of posts and to switch from client to client. I like that you can schedule for multiple social platforms at one time and easily edit and reschedule as needed. It was very easy to learn to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout can sometimes take a while to update new features after a social platform adds them. That is understandable as they see the platform updates at the same time we do. I do wish Sprout allowed you to put 5 collaborators for Instagram, like you can on the app. I am having to schedule some Instagram posts in-app now instead of through Sprout when my clients request more than 3 collaborators. I also wish you could duplicate a post and send it to a different client. Some of our clients use the same posts, even though they are published to different accounts. Sometimes there seems to be a high failure rate for posts - especially when you use collaborators, but at least they immediately notify you so you can go in and resend it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to schedule our social posts in advance for all of our clients allowing us to create content ahead of time, schedule it, and it's all set.
