Great Scheduling Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Sprout’s scheduling tool for over a year, and it’s been a game-changer for our social media workflow. I love how seamlessly it supports team collaboration, pinpoints optimal posting times, and delivers clear, actionable reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support for the scheduling tool has been excellent—responsive and helpful every time. That said, the Advocacy platform feels less intuitive, and support there hasn’t quite measured up. There’s definitely room to improve the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great reporting, scheduling content in advance and easy collaboration across departments.
I've been using sprout social for three years

An all-in-one Social Media Analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
I do love that Sprout Social has sections for almost everything - publishing, listing, reporting. The analytics are very in-depth, with the ability to tag posts under certain categories and track campaigns. Post scheduling is very easy to understand and you can differentiate specifics of the posts by platform now, which is an excellent feature. We use this tool on my team daily for scheduling and share of voice reporting. Our customer support contacts are always on top of it, and give us answers to any questions in a timely manner. They also help us build out reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the fact that some key features of posting are missing from the platform. I cannot schedule polls on LinkedIn or X, and I cannot schedule threads on X, Threads, or Bluesky. This forces us to use the native platform weekly. They can be a little slow to bring in new and emerging social media platforms like Bluesky to the platform. This is an API issue, but no listening for LinkedIn is a huge missed opportunity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us with calendar management and post scheduling, post and profile analytics, competitor reports and social media share of voice tracking, influencer tracking, and executive tracking.
Great Functionality But Glitches and Support Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout Social's capability to manage numerous accounts from a single login, making it highly efficient. The scheduling capabilities and organizing campaigns are fantastic, and the insight tracking significantly benefits my role as a social media manager. The publishing section and analytics are very useful, and the emails I receive are particularly beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Sprout Social has several glitches, particularly with Facebook posts not going out as expected. Furthermore, the customer service response is extremely slow and often unhelpful, which exacerbates the issue when glitches occur. I also experience frustration with having to repeatedly sign in, particularly to Facebook, which may be causing issues with post scheduling. Additionally, Sprout Social offers so many features that it feels overwhelming at times, and I still don't fully understand everything the platform does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to schedule and approve posts across multiple accounts, enhancing our organizational efficiency. The insight tracking and email updates are very beneficial, improving our ability to track performance effectively.
Pros and Cons of Sprout Social.
What do you like best about the product?
The software has made it easy to access multiple social media accounts in one space. This has been very helpful for direct messages coming from multiple platforms. I love how I can browse competition and get reports for any time to present to leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I was able to schedule reels with music from Instagram. The scheduling content feature needs to be improved when it comes to all the errors I receive when trying to do it on sprout. Instagram allows me to use photos that sprout says is too big. Most of the time I just schedule through Instagram instead of sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprouts listening tool helps me with presenting issues with the team when it comes to the property.
Sprout Social is Convenient But Not Necessary
What do you like best about the product?
I like that is always us to see the best times to post something on social media each day. It also allows us to plan a lot of content and schedule it at one time instead of having to do it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is expensive and is something that could easily be done on your own. To me, Sprout Social is not a necessity, especially if you are on a tight budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving me having to use time daily to post on social media. I'm able to schedule out far in advance all at one time.
Shows potential but is still missing core functions that are fundamental to social media management.
What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable aspect is having all of my social calendars accessible to the team for streamlined approvals. The platform is well-organized and offers helpful resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Key features are missing, including Reel scheduling with music, carousel boosting, flexible calendar notes, and more intuitive filtering/tagging (similar to Airtable). Post failures are frequent, and support resolution is not always timely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout addresses the complexity of handling multiple accounts by consolidating them into one platform where I can map everything out effectively. It also enhances team collaboration through accessible content calendars and makes reporting more efficient.
Pleasent experience when everything works correctly.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see most popular times for scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of emojis - not up to date with recent updates. Sometimes posts don't schedule when I set them to. Profiles get disconnected more than I would like them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting on multiple platforms at once, giving analytics to posts.
Checks all the boxes
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very well laid out and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The base cost tends to feel a bit on the high side and you must pay more to unlock a lot of features that, for other scheduling platforms, are included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout social checks all the boxes for what you are looking for in a social media scheduling platform. They've kept up with changes, for the most part, such as adding AI writing enhancement. Reporting is robust, though has become less reliable since recent API changes from Meta, but that's I presume that's on Meta's end. Some features for customizing reporting does require a subscription upgrade, but the basic option seems to get the job done if you are copying analytics to another document. The calendar feature works well - much easier to deal with than Meta's. I appreciate that I can dragn and drop a scheduled post to another date. Things that could make me consider another option would be bulk loading and assets storage requiring an upgraded package.
