What do you like best about the product?
I like how fast Sprout Social is, which makes it very efficient for my workflow. I also appreciate its streamlined nature, which significantly enhances the ease of use. The interface seems very user-friendly, allowing me to perform tasks with minimal effort. The suggestions provided by Sprout Social are incredibly helpful, making it easier to manage social media interactions effectively. Overall, the combination of speed, streamlined design, and intuitive usability makes Sprout Social a valuable tool for my role on the social media team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I experience issues with Sprout Social as it allows a lot of spam to come through. I think the platform could benefit from better spam filtering, perhaps with more intuitive prompts to understand what is spam. Additionally, I wish the interface format was more user-friendly, perhaps resembling a chat format to make typing easier. There's also a desire to view standard text within Sprout more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage social media tasks efficiently, filtering relevant reviews and posts for our business while improving task completion speed due to its streamlined, easy-to-use nature.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social continues upping its game with new features, like the ability to customize one post across several platforms (as opposed to duplicating the post for each platform). This feature has saved me so much time. Additionally, the new "First comment" feature for LinkedIn and Facebook has streamlined my process even further and demonstrates that Sprout truly pays attention to both the social media algorithm and its users needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish features like employee advocacy and social listening weren't hidden behind an additional paywall, but I understand the need to charge more for these add-ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows me to handle all my social media duties in one place, from scheduling across 2-3 platforms to performance analytics.

Effortless Social Management with Powerful Features

What do you like best about the product?
I first started using Sprout while working at the University of Denver. What I first loved about it was that it was pretty accessible and easy to just get up and go with it. Now it's been almost 5 years of me using it and would highly recommend it for anyone managing multiple social channels. I love that there is constant quality of life changes that fit with the current mold of social including tools like adding alt text, customize post per network or duplicating posts, and of course the many data reporting features. They also have a great customer support team and chat feature that my and my team have used and got answers quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will have some buffering issues or when there is an AWS outage you will be affected. This only happens briefly though and rarely. I also am not a fan of generative AI generally, and am a bit disappointed with their adoption of it for things like helping make social media copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to reporting, it's very simple to get what I need and export to PDFs. It's also great to help organize scheduled posts for multiple accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the reporting and analytics features—they make it easy to track performance and share insights with the team. The Smart Inbox is another standout; it streamlines community management by pulling comments and messages into one place, which works seamlessly for our team structure. Overall, the platform makes social media management simple and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Listening tool is the biggest drawback for us. Despite multiple conversations with Sprout reps, it just doesn’t deliver valuable insights for our company size and location. The data tends to be either too broad or too specific, and it doesn’t provide meaningful competitive or brand sentiment analysis. I can see how it could work well for a larger business that gets mentioned online a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps us manage multiple social media accounts efficiently by centralizing engagement through the Smart Inbox. This saves time and ensures no comments or messages are missed. The reporting and analytics tools provide clear, actionable insights that make it easy to measure performance and share results with stakeholders. Overall, it simplifies collaboration within our team and improves our ability to respond quickly and maintain a consistent brand presence.

What do you like best about the product?
I can post to multiple platforms at once. I also like that I can duplicate posts and schedule ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Responding to inquiries is not always easy. I sometimes miss them if I do not specifically look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to keep our families updated and allows us to highlight great things going on in our school.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly the platform is, and they do a fairly good job of updating the software to relfect the latest developments of each social platform. For example, when Instagram changed the ratio limitations for portrait photo posts, it wasn't long before the Sprout platform was updated as well. I also appreciate being able to add the first comment on posts in Sprout (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn).
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding Instagram accounts to Sprout is very tricky, and it shouldn't be that way. In order to add an Instagram profile, it needs to be connected to the brand's Facebook page, and there are always complications with Meta Business that create roadblocks for social media managers. Plus, many brands that are successful on Instagram don't want to have to worry about creating and managing a Facebook page.
Also, the cost of using this platform is ultimately what made our team search for other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The social reporting features are great, making it easy to create reports on KPI's.
Also, it's easy for student workers to submit posts for my review.

Great for Scheduling and Metrics, But Lacks Some IG Insights

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to schedule posts and make sure they go out at the best times for engagement. The analytics are super helpful too—they give clear insights into what’s working and what’s not, so it’s easy to adjust our strategy. Plus, the platform is really intuitive and user-friendly. Even if you’re new to social tools, it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Overall, it saves a ton of time and makes managing social accounts way less cumbersom.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that you can’t view metrics for Instagram collaboration posts published by collaborators, which makes it harder to get a full picture of performance. Another challenge is that Sprout’s analytics sometimes differ from what you see in the native apps (for example, it doesn’t count IG likes as part of interactions), so we have to supplement the Sprout data with data pulled manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, it reduces time spent on repetitive tasks and gives us a clearer picture of what’s working, which helps us make smarter decisions and improve our strategy. Instead of jumping between multiple apps, we can schedule posts, monitor engagement, and review performance all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout Social gives me a centralized place where I can see all my content organized by day. I find the glitches in Sprout Social to be problematic. While I understand that these issues can occur with any software, they sometimes push my work too close together, which can be frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is a one-stop shop for most everything social professionals need to perform their work duties. Its tools are vast and relatively intuitive, and their customization options create a positive experience throughout the workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is an expensive tool, particularly the add-ons like social listening and advanced metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company receives a lot of customer service-related inquiries on social media that need quick addressing. Utilizing the Smart Inbox, I can quickly respond to and keep track of these various contact points and quickly forward information on to the proper parties to handle it. We post daily on various social platforms, and the composer makes it easy to publish and schedule content to these different places. Finally, the analytics (non-pro) give me the basics of what I need to report on social performance to leadership.
