Convenient Social monitoring Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social makes it easy for me to see all my company's social posts and user replies in one place. The interface and filtering options make it easy to sort by specific social channels and reply, tag, mark for review ( as needed). I like being able to hide comments /ban users directly from the Sprout dashboard, which helps save time and ensure only appropriate comments are visible.
What do you dislike about the product?
We receive a lot of replies in Spanish and while Sprout Social does have a translate feature, it requires me to manually click "translate to En-US" for each message - which isn't as convenient as it could be. Automatically translating reviews to the preferred language would be a great solution.
Also, the Macros / Automated Rules features are helpful for some use-cases but do not give the option to create automated actions/replies based on rule sets.
Ex: If a user replies to a Post and simply @someone and leaves no written text, there's no way for me to automatically tag/mark those as completed.
If someone asks "How much does it cost?" or "how Does It work?," there's no way to automatically reply to that post using a macro / asset library.
If someone uses profanity, I can create an automated rule to tag it / mark it as completed, but there's no option for me to ban user or delete the message off a social platform.
Lastly, there's no ability to add words/phrases to automated rules from the Smart Inbox/messages. I have to copy the desired text from a message, jump into settings and update the rule each time I want to add another word/phrase.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes it easy to display and reply to all our social platform posts and comments in one, easy to manage workspace. It also makes it easy to report on our social messaging responses and tagging to better understand what types of responses we are getting to our social media posts.
A Helpful Tool for Social Media Management with Some Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social provides an intuitive dashboard that simplifies scheduling, monitoring, and analysing social media performance. The reporting tools offer useful insights across multiple platforms, and the collaboration features help teams stay organised. It’s a solid choice for businesses managing multiple accounts, with strong automation and engagement tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard package has become more limited over time, removing features that were previously included. For the high price, I would expect weekly reports to be available, yet they are not included in the expensive plans. Additionally, the customisation options for reports could be improved, and some platform integrations feel restrictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps with scheduling posts at different times across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent content distribution without manual effort. This saves time, improves audience engagement, and makes managing social media accounts more efficient. However, the limitations in reporting and pricing changes have made some features less accessible than before.
A well-rounded but expensive social media tool
What do you like best about the product?
Reports - Pre-built reports are great and the visual aspects of them are very helpful for when I'm doing reporting to people who are not in SproutSocial
Smart Inbox - Makes replying to queries and questions easy (although, I do wish it was easier to like Instagram posts that we are tagged in)
Smart Inbox - Makes replying to queries and questions easy (although, I do wish it was easier to like Instagram posts that we are tagged in)
What do you dislike about the product?
Listening - Really wish that the capabilities of listening were stronger for platforms like LinkedIn. It basically monitors what is already being captured in my Smart Inbox and doesn't add much value to me as a social team of one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage community, scheduling, and reporting in one place.

Sprout - pretty good
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of abilities it has for scheduling and reporting, tagging, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be glitchy sometimes when scheduling content, not allowing to turn on stories or drafts randomly. Also the analytics can be unreliable and now shows less for Facebook causing us to have to us meta natively to get stats for clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to schedule content for many clients in one place, monitor comments and inbox, and reporting
Everything in one place, but it depends.
What do you like best about the product?
The Sprout platform is very effective for customer support management through social media. Being able to view all comments and private messages in one place, prioritizing the ones that came in first, makes the process more operationally efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some aspects of this integration that fall short. Frequently, comments appear with a delay, which negatively impacts our ability to meet response time goals. Additionally, the reporting section is not intuitive and lacks customization options; the information is spread across several tabs, and we constantly need to copy the data into a spreadsheet to create our own reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes operations smarter. Our team doesn't need to manage multiple social media windows, and we don't have to request separate access for each platform.
