Decent Analytics, Needs Faster Engagement

  • March 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for engaging social media and enhancing my reach. It helps me with better marketing by making my content more appealing, polished, and correct. I really like the user experience and find the analytics and reporting features valuable, especially after switching from Hootsuite due to its high cost. The analytics reports are particularly beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the centralized smart box not fast enough, which can be frustrating. The comments section is also not responsive, affecting my ability to engage quickly. Additionally, the mobile application lacks several key functionalities available in the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for engaging social media, enhancing reach, better marketing, and making content more appealing. It also helps with analytics and reporting.

Efficient for Social Support, Needs Better Filtering

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't need to log into multiple platforms because Sprout Social is integrated with our client tool. It monitors keywords, allows cases to be automatically assigned to the right queue and language, which can improve our response rate. I appreciate the ability to leave internal notes. I also enjoy the conversation history feature and how it gathers all comments in one place, making it easier to see the entire conversation without checking the social platform separately. This helps us avoid repetitive responses and allows us to pick up conversations from the middle, which is especially helpful when the volume of interactions increases. It also helps us understand the context within one thread so we can offer more personalized and better responses, improving the support experience. Additionally, the setup of Sprout Social is intuitive, even though we initially experienced some access errors that were resolved over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
More accuracy when cases are generated is needed - even though we have a set of keywords, many non-relevant customer replies generate cases for us, including hidden or deleted posts, while other customers that really need support have no case generated. Also, sometimes cases from other queues land with us, which could be improved with a better filtering system. The social replies section is not very easy to navigate, and filtering replies using certain keywords should be improved, especially when using a foreign language. It would help if reply approvers could approve replies within the same integrated tool, without having to open a separate Sprout window. Although we can see thread history, a lot of messages are missed. Lastly, it would be helpful if the Sprout window itself integrated in Salesforce were bigger and not just a quarter of the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage customer interactions without logging into multiple platforms, improving response rates with keyword monitoring and case auto-assignment. It centralizes conversation history, aiding personalized support and reducing repetitive responses.

Strong Cross-Platform Tracking and Reporting in One Place

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social lets us track performance and key metrics throughout the month across multiple platforms, and it also helps us create reports in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's frustrating that it costs to add another seat for a low-use team member, and the connections to the social accounts are frequently lost and have to be reconnected. It's also difficult to discern the result of paid efforts. And Pinterest metrics aren't imported, so we have to calculate those separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can see most of our social profiles' performance at a glance and even drill down into specific post performance without having to bounce between native platforms. It's also helpful for tracking competitors' performance and pulling information to report on monthly to the board od directors to show progress made toward our annual social media goals.

Reliable and Helpful Social Management Tool

  • February 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform makes it very easy to coordinate all of your social platforms and post. For my organization, we use LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and BlueSky, and it is very easy to write one post for a certain platform, then duplicate it and adjust it for another platform. You can also schedule your posts for the future easily. The platform is also very reliable - I have never had an issue with a scheduled post not delivering.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the platform offered more reporting capabilities at the basic level. The data reporting offered is very minimal, but to get access to more data, you have to pay 10x the price. For Instagram, Sprout Social also doesn't count a lot of the engagements Instagram does (Reposts, Post Collabs, Likes on Stories), making the engagement Sprout Social reports significantly less than what you are actually receiving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sprout Social to post on all of our social platforms and report performance. Having the ability to collaborate all posts in one platform, rather than having to go to each one individually, is a huge time saver.

Great Reports & Story Scheduling, But Carousel and 10-Post Cap Lag Behind

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the reports dashboard and the ability to schedule Instagram Stories. Overall, those two features make it easier for me to stay organized and keep my content planning on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took too long for Sprout to implement multi-media carousels. I also don’t like that Instagram posts are capped at 10 slides, especially since Instagram has supported 20 slides natively for about a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers post scheduling, higher-level analytics, reporting tools, and tags to help organize content.

Great scheduling and notifications, but Instagram engagement still requires switching apps

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to be able to schedule everything at once. Having notifications grouped into one area is great for managing social media accounts without leaving things behind.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unfortunate that you can't like Instagram posts or comments from sprout. Everything besides Instagram feels very fleshed out. I'm normally having to bounce between sprout and Instagram to fully complete tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to make sure we're hitting every platform and responding to all messages and comments. Without sprout, we would definitely miss certain notifications.

Advanced Features, Needs Better Navigation

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Sprout Social because it allows us to pull directly from the API on multiple platforms and easily see results, saving us from spending time being manual. I also appreciate how capable and advanced it is, supporting multiple platforms, pages, and more. It has several wonderful features, many of which I don't even use!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most user intuitive platform, and sometimes it's hard to find what I'm looking for. Reduce the amount of menus! There's essentially 15 menus on the homepage, and some of those lead to other menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for reporting on owned socials. It lets us pull directly from the API on multiple platforms, making it easier to see results without spending time on manual tasks.

Centralized Social Management Made Easy

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Sprout Social because it allows me to see all platforms in one place and schedule posts efficiently. It's great to respond from a central place to customers across different platforms. I find the calendarizing feature enhances efficiency since it's so easy to see where everything is going and who is handling it. I appreciate that Sprout Social is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate. The natural suggestions for tips and optimization are also very helpful. The initial setup was a breeze and incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the ability to edit Instagram stories would be helpful direct from the Sprout Social platform. I also wish it integrated with Strava.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage all platforms in one place, schedule posts, and respond to customers centrally. It solves calendarizing and efficiency problems by making it easy to see what is going where and by whom.

Great tool for coordinated social media posting, but a bit pricy

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the bulk scheduling feature in Sprout Social. It makes scheduling evergreen content so easy: put a bunch of stuff into a Google Sheet, export it as a CSV, and get platforms like LinkedIn scheduled out for a week. I also like the reporting feature, which is really easy to use. Additionally, Sprout Social makes it easy to add UTM parameters without having to manually input them every time. I'm pretty comfortable with the platform as it's how I learned to do social posting, and we've never had any complaints about its ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer to be able to bulk schedule across multiple platforms with a little bit more ease. I wish there was an easy way to create my own reports for metrics for our own internal KPIs. Right now, I have to go to each individual page to check the specific KPIs that I need, but there might be that feature, and I haven't figured out how to do it yet. It's a little pricy and operates under a cost per seat functionality, which is not my favorite way for subscription services to work. Especially for organizations that have multiple people that need to work on social around the world. So all the tools are good, but the cost is a limiting factor to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social saves me time by allowing bulk scheduling across platforms, making it easy to manage social media. It's especially helpful for evergreen content and holiday periods. Adding UTM parameters is simple, so I don't have to do it manually.

Streamlined Social Media Management with Room for Improvement

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social to plan and schedule social media. I appreciate the visual digital calendar that allows me to schedule posts and move them around to maintain a consistent flow. I like that everything is in one place so I don't have to switch between multiple platforms. I love the publishing calendar for planning and scheduling. The smart inbox is a favorite because it collates inbound communication into one screen, making it easy to view. The reports are also something I enjoy as they offer interesting insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find API limitations mean that the platform is not as functional as it could be (it has some features for some platforms and not the same features for others). I found some things very limited without paying more for access to what should be basic features. For example, allowing a much larger contact list per account (eg., 2000 contacts). Or allowing many more approval workflows (eg., 50).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to plan and schedule social media posts. It provides a visual calendar for organizing a consistent post flow and consolidates everything in one platform, which saves me from jumping between tools. I also value the smart inbox for viewing communications in one place.
