Easy to use and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of posting, scheduling and copying content. I also really like how easy it is to track and review analytics and insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish pulling from Facebook to tag accounts worked a bit better. It takes a while to come up, and sometimes the account I am looking for doesn't even show when I use the full handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small organisation without a dedicated social media person. The amount of time and effort Sprout saves us is amazing. Plus, the education courses are quick and so helpful.
Intuitive and easy to use application with some room for improvement on 3rd party integration apps

Good UI and overall UX.
Easy to locate and respond to customer messages.
Setting up the integration with Salesforce is easy.
In comparison to Social Studio, Sprout is a better solution (overall).

What do you dislike about the product?
There is room for improvement regarding the integration with Salesforce. Example: capturing agent response times on the Sprout Social Post Object.
Sprout support takes too long to provide feedback on issues, and currently they cannot set up video calls to troubleshoot problems.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to see the complete picture of customer engagements. We can easily reach out to our customers using the Sprout Social component in Salesforce.
We can respond to Instagram DMs and other message types, which we couldn't previously do from Social Studio.

Very interesting from the start
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout gives comms teams the ability to monitor all their feeds for popular platforms in one place, and manage them. Most awesome is the ability to listen to what users are saying on those platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a bit complex and not as intuitive as you would expect. It is also a downside that the platform does not allow for reports to be embedded in other softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving us the ability to save time preparing posts and listneing in on the "conversation" for any number of topics. This would be impossible to do per platform.
I used Hootsuite in the past, and really liked it.

You can accurately tag accounts when you're posting.

Some items may be hard to use, and the accounts may unlink.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's nice to be able to reply to channel engagements. You can also like or "heart" a comment then and there. Great way to access Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features can be better to make the experience a bit more seamless. Example: images and videos sometimes fail to load and play. Some tags can't be commented on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it solves having to navigate different platforms and making me save time. It's also easy to use overall and a really good way to maintain community management.
Sprout is good but not budget-friendly

Toggle easily between clients, data is easy to read

Cannot customize your client's charts, limited data unless you have premium social listening,

Audits for our clients, reporting, publishing tool
Sprout social is easy to use, I just wish some of the dashboard features were more clearly labelled.
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics of sprout work great. I love seeing the colorful charts that clearly indicate how performance is doing across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features on Sprout are rather unclearly labelled, and not intuitive to find. This is a UI problem however and doesn't stand out as a huge issue towards performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is solving the problem of finding time to schedule social media posts in a timely and efficient manner that helps to grow our brand, and gives us new insights into valuable key metrics.

Being able to see all social accounts in one place / dashboard
I love Sprout, but I definitely feel like I was oversold on the capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of scheduling and publishing posts. I wish I could add cover photos to Reels, tag people and products in IG videos, and schedule Stories without a workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to schedule Stories, Reels with custom cover photos, and lack of capability to share multi-media carousel posts. I also wish there were better ways to engage from the listening dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling in advance, although we still have to manually post Stories and some Reels where cover photos are required. Listening, although it's not as robust as I imagined it would be.
Great reporting tools for your channels and your competitors.
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting! I use it for my reporting monthly, weekly, and daily across all my social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't love that there is no feed preview when planning feeds as this would save the double handling when building out feeds for the weeks.

Competitor reporting is really beneficial to show where we stack up each month.
