Simplifies Social Listening, Needs Better API Access
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social listening, tracking our brand and competitors through various reports, and reviewing the performance of our owned social accounts. It solves me having to manually pull all the data from web and social platforms, reducing my labor time and automating processes. I like how much information it pulls and how it makes my job easier for reporting. I enjoy the platform itself; it's very simple to use and to understand. The team at Sprout Social was very helpful during the lengthy initial setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, Sprout Social doesn't have full access to Meta, Instagram, and TikTok's API. It would be useful to see more posts from those platforms in which we are featured in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for social listening and competitive insights. It automates data collection, reducing my labor time and simplifying reporting. The platform is simple to use and understand, making my job easier.
Efficient Scheduling, Needs Some Platform Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social allows me to manage all platforms within one platform, so it makes me more efficient and allows me to get ahead of my content schedule. The scheduling feature helps with this, as well as giving me optimal times to post. I also appreciate the duplicate feature, which lets me post the same content to different platforms and make necessary tweaks without having to recreate the whole thing. Additionally, it allows me to schedule in advance, saving me a lot of time, and it provides metrics for my different platforms, so I know how my accounts are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some little glitches with each platform scheduler and updates are slow. For example, on LinkedIn, Sprout finally updated so that I can add a first comment when I post, but it doesn't allow me to tag other accounts in the comment like I can in Instagram so I have to do that retroactively. It also puts a photo limit on the posts that isn't there if I were to post through LinkedIn itself. On the metrics side, there are some inconsistent features. I wish that the tag performance viewer allowed me to filter by post type (e.g. story vs. post vs. reel).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to schedule posts in advance, saving me time, and it gives metrics for platforms so I know account performance. Managing all platforms in one place makes me efficient, with features like optimal post times and content duplication across platforms without recreating.
Great Multi-Platform Posting, But Image Quality and Scheduled Deletion Need Work
What do you like best about the product?
I really like being able to post content to multiple platforms at the same time with Sprout Social.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you could upload higher quality images to Sprout Social and deleting a scheduled post was easier to do!

It helps our team manage our social media content calendar.
Effortless Scheduling, But Pricey Influencer Feature
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to share the preview links and get internal approvals. The user interface is pretty easy to navigate, and the initial setup was pretty easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the influencer feature too expensive.

Convenient Scheduling, But Needs Feature Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the cross-channel scheduler the most. It saves me time because I don't have to switch between different schedulers. The initial setup was easy since I had used Sprout Social in previous roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how some tagging features don't work when uploading a reel. I also don't like how the location tag is not accurate. For example, when I type 'Long Beach' into the location tag, it doesn't let me just choose the city like how it would on the IG app. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to create and schedule native stories in Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to mass-schedule content across channels, saving me time as I don't have to switch between different schedulers.
Easy-to-Navigate UI, But Real-Time Updates Can Lag

It's user interface is very easy to navigate

Sometime's it does not update in real time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling and workflow for social posts. It has helped with team collaboration and making sure we are making posts for each brand.
Reliable Scheduling & Google Reviews, but Navigation and Image Limits Hold It Back
What do you like best about the product?
It reliably allows my company to schedule social media posts and manage our google reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it can be quite difficult to navigate and only allows 10 images per social post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to better schedule our social media and track various metrics.
Effective Social Reporting with API Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for organic social reporting, and I really found the Listening tool to be helpful at identifying commentary around our brand, both good and bad. It's much easier to report on organic performance via Sprout's combined view in 'Post Performance'. Reconnecting API to accounts when required is easily done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into a lot of issues with API connections to Facebook specifically (less issues on the Instagram side). Often, organic reach/impressions include paid metrics, even when exported as a CVS file, which is supposed to separate the paid and organic delivery. When working on an organic report, it is not useful to have paid metrics included. It throws off our engagement rates, always showing the boosted posts as the most engaged organically (which truly isn't always the case). I would like to see a better breakout between paid and organic for the following metrics: impressions, reach, reactions/likes, comments, saves, and shares.

Sprout Social streamlines social post management by allowing us to designate users and publish posts easily. It simplifies organic performance reporting with its combined view, and the Listening tool helps identify brand commentary.
All-in-One Social Management with Setup Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social brings everything together in one place, making it easier instead of having to monitor social channels on my personal phone and time. The scheduling feature is also great because it means I don't have to monitor postings all the time. Now, I just go to one place to do everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that you can't post certain things on Instagram, like a combination of photo and video, and that you can't do a carousel of over 10 photos. I also think that the tagging system should be set up for you and AI-based and more inherent. It feels hard to set up and implement for our small busy team. We didn't set up tagging well and now we regret that.

Simplifies Social Insights, Ads Need Work
What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization in Sprout Social. Things seem to be placed conveniently and are easy to access. The initial setup on Sprout Social was easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the Sprout ads. I can’t seem to close them and they pop up too often.
