It's good but don't like new design
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest selling point for me is the OneInbox! Trying to keep up with streams on other networks is confusing.
I like that I can rely on Sprout to post my content for me after it's scheduled.
I like the listening capabilities
I like the asset library capabilities
Bots are cool
Better than Hootsuite by far, easier to understand than Social Bakers, More powerful than Agora Pulse (however, Agora Pulse offers far better scheduling capabilities).

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the new layout completely, I don't like having the navigation bar on the left side it's not as intuitive. I wish there was a way to do "Dark mode" so the design wasn't so white.
As far as the actual functionality,
-I desperately wish I could see old posts that have been posted in the month calendar view. They can appear slightly faded so it's clear that they were posted in the past, while the bright and bold posts are the ones that are scheduled for the future.
-I wish I could click and drag posts to different days on the month calendar view instead of having to click the post and go in and manually change the date.
-I have to refresh my page to see changes I just made on calendar
-I wish that "share of voice" was a standard offering in analytics. Instead, you have to pay for a "themes" bar to be added to each listener with share of voice displayed there.
-The analytics on the "pages" under reports are sometimes different numbers than what is shown on native platforms.
-The analytics on "pages" for engagement and impressions are ALWAYS different from the analytics on the "sent message performance."
-Facebook engagement is not broken down by paid and organic, so I have to go onto the native platform to figure out that breakdown myself.
- I was told YouTube was on the roadmap to be added as a platform in July 2019 and it's January 2020 and it's still not available

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insights from listening
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research!
Overall good experience but missing some key user experience features.
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful analytics across all platforms and ability to compare competitors. Multiple calendar views are nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling feature has some weird quirks, like not being able to change the platform for a draft, but you can if it’s already scheduled. Not being able to choose different dates/times for the same post on multiple platforms adds a lot of repetitive work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining analytics numbers across all platforms!! Saves lots of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not a bad option at all. Not the most user friendly though, it takes time to get used to using the system before you can take full advantage. Still has weird quirks that make it feel like it’s new and will evolve.
Sprout is user-friendly with easy to navigate functions and a wide variety of capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
The functions on Sprout are easy to navigate. The layout and functions share similarities with other large platforms, so it’s very user-friendly, especially to those who are familiar with social media managing tools.
It offers a wide range of functions that will prevent companies from having to purchase and train on a variety of other platforms to properly maintain their social media presence. Social media listening, analytics, scheduling and reputation management are all capable under the system. If you’re an agency, you can manage multiple accounts simultaneously. If you’re a corporate user, multiple users can have access to the same social media accounts (so if you have someone focusing specifically on analytics and someone else on content, neither have to share their login and risk human error.)

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally feeds lag which can make monitoring and reputation management a bit of a hassle. Occasionally bugs out and posts don’t go through as scheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy cross-functionality and cross-departmental use. As previously stated, very user-friendly operating experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Speak openly with your consultant to ensure you’re picking the best setup for you and your team.
Pretty effective for managing social accounts in bulk.
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features are one of the strongest aspects of the platform in my opinion. Allows for quick analysis of content and overall channel performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced quite a few issues with posts publishing incorrectly. When creating posts, previewing them, they will often display differently than what is seen from the tool view. There have also been major integration issues with facebook and instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling out posts in bulk, building content calendars, automated reporting, monitoring things on the go from the mobile app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep an eye on how posts display on the actual social media platform when they are published through Sprout. Although this defeats the purpose of using the tool to some level, you want to make sure quality is prioritized so it's best to review manually.
Great Potential
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sprout is having the ability to easily schedule posts. I also like being able to choose which platforms I want to post on, or having the option to schedule and duplicate a post.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notes feature is a great idea, however it needs to be worked on. The notes are done in a way that allows everyone in my sector to read/delete/edit others notes. It would be much better if they were tied to an individual account. The calendar gets very congested and confusing when multiple people are trying to use the notes. I have decided using them is more trouble than it's worth, so I've disabled that feature. If that issue is fixed, then I will be more than happy to use them again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to schedule posts far in advance and choose optimal times to send out the posts. I have realized the schedule and duplicate feature comes in handy when certain posts aren't friendly for a particular platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use and pretty streamlined. Allows you to connect multiple accounts, which is extremely helpful. Instagram is the only platform that I wish worked better with Sprout.
Sprout Social Review
What do you like best about the product?
Good easy to understand analytics page about your latest results. Ability to change the timeline to exactly the dates your need. Ability to add multiple profiles and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Profiles often get disconnected from the profile without a reason. You cant post carousel photos on instagram. There is a strange Instagram publisher option which is hard to understand. The mobile app version of the app is difficult to use. The other day I was unable to post on Twitter because it told me I need someone from the team t o approve it.This never happens on the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple profiles. having multiple team members using the account and posting on our social media. Getting social media analysis for post performance
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Add all your profiles on there. Double check facebook followers metrics on sprout compared to organic platform as these often don’t match
Great Analytics, could include more
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics for sure. It’s a beautiful layout (a must for me) and relative information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Sprout included Keyword research as well as options for sourcing influencers.

Scheduling and Analytics are improved with this software.

Not bad, could be better.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post to all platforms at once and to schedule posts in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that I can't post to Instagram stories, and that all of my facebook posts get put into one facebook photo library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to plan content out in advance and to work remotely from my phone.
The social world in your hands.
What do you like best about the product?
There is a very good interaction with customers and consumers as publications are made about the innovations that the company makes, apart from that it is a very good way to carry out accurate advertising and even facilitates the planning of advertising campaigns, it definitely They get very good results when using this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it should allow the ease of editing and recreating a publication that can be exported on all social networks that are handled at once, instead of being one by one, it would save a lot of time, of course for those companies that only have A social network this will not be a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly it works to improve the capacities that are possessed to realize publications in the social networks, something that seems to be simple but in reality it needs time dedication and concentration, with this tool it is possible to multiply the results obtained through this world that are the networks social, on the other hand, everything is correctly exposed with respect to the brand, mission, vision and even the target audience, in order to capture much more public, which is why, it reaches a point where they are handled different social networks at the same time, for example, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter among others, and Sprout Social allows you to manage them all together in the same application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It totally justifies its price, if in your company you do not use it yet, I advise you not to waste your time, this is the software that will optimize your management and will facilitate you much more the use of social networks, which however easy it may seem you need A lot of time and a lot of planning.
