Valuable Reporting, Needs Clearer Feature Guidance

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout Social's reporting feature, which has been very beneficial for me. It allows me to gain insights and effectively analyze social media performance. I also like the feature that enables me to leave notes on social posts, which adds an extra layer of organization and communication to my workflow. These functionalities enhance my ability to run social media sites efficiently and make data-driven decisions. The fact that these features are already addressing my key needs makes Sprout Social a valuable tool in my social media management toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Sprout Social a bit challenging due to the vast number of features it offers. While I wanted to learn how to use as much as I could, the comprehensive feature set was initially overwhelming. Also, I feel there could be more clarity on what all the capabilities are, which would significantly enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for social media reporting and note-taking on posts, benefiting from organized insights and enhanced communication.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has been very user-friendly and a great way to share social media content with our employees. Helps us stay clean and organized

I think icon layouts and options on the side bar can be refined to be more easily found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout takes the trouble of tracking content posting and interaction data out of the equation

What do you like best about the product?
I truly value Sprout Social for its intuitive setup process, even though I wasn't mainly responsible for it. The platform's ease of use significantly enhances my experience and the fact that our account and support team provides assistance whenever needed boosts my confidence. I love the way Sprout Social streamlines my work with its powerful publishing features, social listening, and reporting capabilities. These tools empower my team to move quicker, smarter, and more efficiently, enabling us to gain critical insights swiftly and make informed, data-driven decisions with ease. The competitive insights and reporting features have been especially beneficial in keeping leadership well-informed. Additionally, Sprout Social's competitive price-point makes it an appealing tool for our company. Overall, the ease of use and superior support service strongly influence my decision to continue using Sprout Social.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited integrations with LinkedIn though this is more so a LinkedIn limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling posts, publishing, social listening, and reporting, which accelerates our processes. It delivers competitive insights and data-driven decisions swiftly, keeping our leadership informed efficiently.

Excellent Scheduling for Multiple Clients and Easy To Use, But Pricey and Occasional Account Issues

What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool for multiple clients is a dream. It's easy to use and has a ton of features that the Meta Business Suite doesn't have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. It is a bit more expensive than other brands. Additionally, sometimes accounts get disconnected and we have to reconnect them which can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple clients and multiple people managing those clients. It helps our team stay connected to what's going on, and allows for us to jump in at any given time, even if we aren't the primary Account Manager for the client.

What do you like best about the product?
Accesibility. Everything you need is in one platform and is easy to find. The publishing and metrics tracking are insightful, detailed and so easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more customization for the reporting.

I also wish you could more effectively publish posts, by making it less manual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our labor problem. Utilizing Sprout Social makes social management much easier, resulting in less time spend managing our clients accounts. It also provides a full picture of results, so I don't have to tap into all my logins to see metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
The post performance reporting is much easier to navigate than insights pages on some of the social platforms themselves. And it's all in one place!
What do you dislike about the product?
The paid ad insights are not available in some plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The insights provided through Sprout Social summarize comments and engagment metrics better than individual platforms alone. This makes reporting a lot simpler, and more cohesive to share with my clients.

It is easy to use with other teams. I can have our customer service team respond to DMs while our social manager is scheduling posts.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social incredibly useful for its ease of use, which made setting it up very simple. The user interface is intuitive, allowing me to navigate and utilize its features with no hassle. The analytics builder stands out as a particularly valuable tool, offering the ability to customize reports, which I rely on heavily outside of the scheduler. The scheduler itself is a cornerstone of my workflow as a social media manager, facilitating a smooth process for content review and approval thanks to the commenting feature, which enables easy feedback. Additionally, the duplication feature simplifies the task of distributing content across multiple platforms. Overall, the combination of scheduling tools and analytics significantly eases my responsibilities as a social media manager. My positive experiences with Sprout Social's tech support also enhance my satisfaction with the platform. When I experienced an issue with the mobile publisher not sending push notifications, the support team was responsive, addressing the problem promptly and implementing a fix shortly thereafter. This high level of service gives me confidence in the platform’s ongoing reliability and support.

The Sprout Social app could be more robust.

The reporting tools and benchmarks change often, and there have been inconsistencies with data. But I believe that may be a result of social media platforms, as opposed to Sprout.

I have been using Sprout Social since 2020 for managing all our organic social efforts, and I've found the platform particularly impressive in several ways. One of the features I love most is the Smart Inbox, which allows me to engage with people in real-time, providing timely customer support, especially crucial during crisis management. It seamlessly manages multiple platforms and monitors conversations across the internet and social platforms. This helps us engage with our audience and offer quick customer support and timely engagement. I also value the tags for reporting, which provide great metrics to evaluate our efforts. The listening tools are fantastic for understanding what competitors are discussing and identifying what stands out for our brand. Additionally, the AI chatbots are a significant asset, acting as the first line of defense by quickly routing people to the help they need, ensuring that by the time they reach a human, we have all the necessary information ready to provide assistance efficiently. The onboarding and initial setup experience was smooth due to regular syncs, where Sprout Social showcased various aspects of the tool, allowing us to get started quickly. Sprout Social's customer-centric approach, constantly taking feedback and updating their tools efficiently, along with their responsive customer support, further solidifies my appreciation for their service. Lastly, my decision to choose Sprout Social stemmed from its superior comparison against competitors, and these continuous improvements guarantee that this platform remains ahead of its peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to filter the Smart Inbox by Contact Lists, and currently, that's not a feature.
