Good Content Organizing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sprout Social for organizing, scheduling and automatically publishing content across Facebook and Twitter. It's a great starter tool for brands large or small looking to get serious about their messaging and interactions. Speaking of interactions, their streamlined inbox is pretty much the blueprint for other 3rd party publishing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social delivers pretty lightly on reporting and analytics. If you'd like a high level view of how your social accounts are doing in one platform, this is a great option. Gleaning deep insights from this may be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are streamlining our content publishing and using automation where possible. This is a major benefit to a team of just one!
Sprout is a helpful tool for my agency.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that sprout allows us to aggregate many posts for our clients at once. Some of our larger clients in the consumer products industry find the hashtag monitor very helpful for finding influencers and people using their products for sharable content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool doesn't always make sense for our smaller clients where it is is easier to go directly to the platform itself for posting. Overall, I don't have many complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage many social media clients all at once. We are able to share with our clients exactly what their social media calendar looks like well ahead of time in an attractive and easy to see manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a growing marketing agency or your an organization of any considerable size you should consider using Sprout Social.
Great workflow and data insights
What do you like best about the product?
I really find it helpful that Sprout uses data to back the recommended times for posting. Working for a global organization means sometimes my view of a perfect time isn't the same as the rest of the world. So knowing when my audience is most likely to engage (regardless of the country) is key to successful organic social.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was the ability to create and schedule creative cards on Twitter right from Sprout. It's an extra step to do outside of Sprout and we lose that precious data that comes from having a clickable card on Twitter versus just a graphic attached to the post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning how to define an organic social strategy. We've been able to increase our twitter posting and decrease our Linkedin posts because of the insights we've received through Sprout. We're becoming more strategic in how and what we post.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is an easy to use application that provides quality data and recommends post times based on that data. You can schedule across multiple channels easily. But there are some functionalities (at least depending on what level you purchase.) Have a game plan of exactly what you want to do before purchasing this (or any other) social media management application.
Keeping Organized for a Small Department
What do you like best about the product?
I think we found using sprout most helpful for publishing. The publishing tool made it easy for one worker to create a post, and then allow the department leader to approve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of tools with sprout. I think sometimes it can be overwhelming for someone that doesn't know how to use the program, but overall it is more helpful than it is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to stay organized and get a posting schedule. Realized that seeing our numbers and analytics was helpful, along with researching hashtags and seeing how to optimize growth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take sometime to learn the program so that you can use it to your best ability. It has a lot to offer and can helpful in optimizing growth of any organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics on Sprout are great - they help us segment data for each of our 25 dental offices my state, and city to be able to compare and create benchmarks. The content calendar helps us keep track and prepare for what we'll be sharing for the month, and what we've shared previously.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've gone through so many different account managers. We'd had multiple different sales rep reach out to me to try to sell me Sprout, when we've already been a customer for almost 2 years. It feels as though they're not communicating and very disorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have content approved by managers has been very useful for us. Scheduling content weeks ahead is great. Utilizing the content calendar to plan content around national holidays, special events, etc. we've enjoyed that update.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time on figuring out how you're going to best utilize a tool like Sprout Social before signing on. Ask all of your questions before signing anything - especially about any and all features are most important to you and your organization's efficiency. Sprout can be very useful

The interface is well designed, simplistic and user friendly. Its easy to schedule posts in bulk and collect data. I like that sprout gives you downloadable charts to show account growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The instagram portion of sprout social could use some additional features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am minimizing the amount of time I spend collecting data and inputting it into custom spreadsheets by using sprout social, I am also saving time by scheduling posts in bulk.
A great tool, wish pricing were more flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's reports are visually pleasing and easy to digest, which is especially important for decision makers who might not have much of a marketing background. Comparing your brand against competitors and peers is also easy to do within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were lower tier plans you could subscribe to if you do not need the full suite of analytics or publishing tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Sprout to identify patterns in engagement, to learn about my audience, and to keep a finger on the pulse of our (very niche) industry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a one-stop shop for social media management for an SMB, Sprout ticks a lot of boxes.
Pretty User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy it is to quickly write up and schedule a post for my organization. I also like how I can make one post go on more than one social media site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only struggle with links when drafting a social media post. I can never get a picture to work on Twitter with the link to an article that I am tweeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm saving a lot of time by using Sprout Social to schedule my posts for the week.
Sprout is better than most, but could be better

There's good user experience for publishing across different platforms, the interface is easy to follow and the mobile experience is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics is sometimes different from what the native platforms show. The inbox could also be more organized.
