Streamlined Social Media Management with Room for Improvement

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the publishing tools and the approval workflow in Sprout Social. These features allow us to run our marketing business smoothly, letting posts go live on a monthly schedule for over 500 clients. The approval workflow ensures posts are reviewed by the correct team members with a smooth handoff. I also appreciate the reporting features as they enable us to analyze our posts' performance, our profiles' success, and evaluate the performance of our different packages and pilot content. Additionally, I like being able to pull up reports and data to see how profile performance is doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that you could upload both photos and videos to Facebook, the feature recently went live for Instagram, but I don't know why we can't do the same for Facebook. I also think improving the preview grid would be nice, like being able to view a certain amount of posts on the grid rather than the entire grid. I also think filtering out posts that weren't tagged a certain way would help us get an idea of what we're providing versus what the client is posting on their own. Additionally, being able to make your own groups quickly to pull performance would be really useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to plan posts for over 500 clients across Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profiles. The platform allows us to manage everything smoothly with its publishing tools, approval workflows, and reporting features, enhancing team communication and efficiency.

Efficient Multi-Channel Management with Room for Improvement

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the platform and how easy it is to use. It's straightforward to post across multiple social media channels and then customize for each one if needed. This really saves me time and helps me manage 6 channels. I also appreciate being able to focus more on content creation rather than worrying about scheduling and posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The insights aren't very detailed. I sometimes get emails about channels being disconnected from my account that need reconnecting, but when I click into the platform nothing is awry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me schedule posts ahead of time, easily manage what's set to post each week, and maintain posting across 6 channels efficiently, freeing up time for content creation.

Instagram Planning Made Easy with Calendar View and Feed Previews

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to plan my social media posts in advance, especially on Instagram. It helps to see everything arranged in a calendar and also to view a preview of how the posts will appear on the feed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the interface feel more complicated than they should, especially the reporting tools, and the publishing calendar can feel rigid. The mobile app, particularly the iPad version, falls short and feels limited compared with the desktop experience. It gets the job done, but it is not always as smooth or flexible as I expect for the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines social media planning and execution. I no longer feel tied to my phone outside of work hours because it publishes posts for me across multiple accounts.

Streamlined Social Media Management with Robust Reporting

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social to manage multiple social media accounts, and I found it to be a solid tool, especially if you work on a team and need structure around publishing. I think the approval process is one of its biggest strengths, as it's clear who needs to review a post and where it is in the process, cutting down on confusion and last-minute scrambles. Editing before approval is really straightforward, making it easy to make changes and resubmit without starting the whole approval process over. Rescheduling posts is pretty painless too, as you can move things around in the calendar without breaking the approval flow, which is helpful when plans change. Also, the reporting and metrics stand out as they are easy to understand and polished enough to share directly with leadership or clients. I like the ability to edit while it's still in the approval process, and compiling reports is easy and looks polished.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some features could be added at lower pricing tiers. It feels like the platform kinda gatekeeps some aspects, so you have to upgrade the plan. There's a lot to learn, it's a little bit of a learning curve, though the support team was pretty helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage multiple social media accounts, streamline workflows, clarify approval processes, reschedule posts easily, and enjoy polished reporting and metrics.

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social to post for three different brands across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, and TikTok. I appreciate that I can post on all of these platforms at once while still being able to customize each one. I can start with shared information and then break it out by platform, adding links or making small changes for specific platforms. Also, the initial setup of Sprout Social was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting feels overwhelming. The way the interface looks is a little bit overwhelming, but I understand that there's a lot of information there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to post for three different brands on various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, and TikTok. I can post to all at once while customizing each platform, adding links or changes to make it specific.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily see our content calendar and social media metrics in an easy-to-read platform. It helps me keep everything organized amid constant shifting priorities and schedule posts in advance. The initial setup was easy, with a slight learning curve to link accounts, but generally smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could more easily post and schedule Instagram stories. I also wish I did not have to constantly reactivate and relink my accounts.

Effective Analytics for Social Management, Needs Better Tagging

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social media publishing management and analytics. A single hub for posting to multiple accounts and the good tagging system for analytic tracking are really helpful. The analytics are the best feature for me, allowing me to see what type of content is performing with the tags feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tagging on LinkedIn posts often doesn't show the people I'm directly searching for. Trying to @ a person or company is challenging, and sometimes I have to go directly to LinkedIn to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social as a single hub for posting to multiple accounts and for its good tagging system. It allows me to track and analyze content performance through its analytics, which is the best feature for me.

Nuanced Social Analytics, But Uploading Through Sprout Social Reduces Graphic Quality

  • February 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I'm able to have more specific, nuanced analytics of our social media content so that we can improve and adjust to trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of our graphics goes down when we upload through Sprout Social, so I've sometimes had to post directly from the social media platform to restore the original quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've spent a lot of time making posts to different platforms one at a time, and this allows us to seamlessly cross post all at one time. Also, we can schedule instead of dropping everything to make specific posts.
