Can't Complain!

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is fairly intuitive and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many features that are not available within Sprout for post scheduling. TikTok carousels, IG stories with interactive elements, are just a couple of the posting styles that are not available within Sprout. I understand that it's probably nearly impossible to keep up seamlessly with Meta updates though, so I can look past it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love how we are able to create living, sharable dashboards for analytics. It makes it much easier to handle ad-hoc analytics requests.

Excellent analytics and workflow for global policy comms, but pricing is edging out smaller teams

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
• Editorial workflow magic. Sprout has completely streamlined our social media management at our organization that tracks the work of the UN Security Council. We cover everything from real-time meeting updates to in-depth policy analysis, and Sprout keeps scheduling, approvals, and analytics beautifully organized.
• Reliable data + clear reporting. The analytics suite is stellar! We use it to track growth, engagement, and content performance for institutional reporting and donor communications. Exportable visuals are a huge plus for presentations and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
• Pricing creep. Sprout’s plans are increasingly structured for corporate or agency-level budgets. For nonprofits and small comms teams, the cost of adding users or features is getting tough to justify.
• Feature gating. Some basic tools (like certain listening or analytics features) are locked behind higher tiers — frustrating when you’re already paying a premium.
• Big-fish focus. The platform’s direction feels geared toward enterprise clients, leaving smaller mission-driven orgs a bit behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout solves the chaos of managing multiple social channels for a policy organization with constant deadlines. Sprout lets us schedule, tag, and publish content in advance, keep messaging consistent, and analyze performance all in one place. It’s also been a game-changer for accountability: we can show real data on engagement and audience growth to our leadership and donors instead of screenshots and guesswork. Overall, it’s made our communications more strategic, timely, and measurable.

Everything a Social Media Manager Needs

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout offers everything a Social Media Manager needs to launch campaigns, track post performance, and responding to customers online. It's easy to understand if you're new to the platform as its functions are really intuitive. I also love that there are AI features to help with drafting content and translating messages and your responses for users who may prefer to communicate in a different language. Sharing stats, posts, reports, etc. with colleagues who are not Sprout users is also very easy by setting up email alerts or sharing unique links that are available to everyone (even if they don't have a Sprout seat). Supporting our customers is also made easy by Sprout through the Inbox tool and their bot offerings. We're able to store pre-drafted responses for customer inquiries making it faster for our team to respond to customers with text that has been approved by our communications team. Ensuring content is on-brand is also made easy through Sprout's approval flow process. Any submitted post by a user outside the admin team can be reviewed before it's scheduled reducing mistakes and allowing for collaboration in the team chat feature to help our team improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The listening function within Sprout isn't as powerful as other tools that specialize in social listening. It's a nice supplement to our existing listening tool, but couldn't replace it. The bot feature is serviceable for now during our team's off-hours and weekends, but would like to see more sophisticated capabilities in the future to make it feel like our customers are speaking to a more human-like bot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer service/community management might be our biggest pain point right now, and Sprout makes it manageable. We're able to see all comments and direct messages from every platform come into one place instead of having to respond/monitor natively which saves our team a lot of time. The automated rules Sprout offers also allows us to cut down on spam to help reduce the volume of our inbound content. Sprout's social listening also allows us to find more positive content or even trending content within our industry to engage with to help boost our brand awareness and allows our brand to be more "fun" on social.

Why Our CEO Loves Sprout’s Reports (and So Do I)

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social streamlines the management of all social media aspects in a single platform, encompassing planning and publishing, engagement, and analytics. The standout feature for me is the reporting tools, which transform performance data into clear, visually appealing insights that my CEO and leadership team genuinely look forward to reviewing. The platform is streamlined and intuitive, making it easy for me to demonstrate the effectiveness of our social strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google Analytics integration tends to disconnect more often than I’d like, and the mobile experience could be a bit more user-friendly for managing posts on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the challenge of managing data and posting across multiple platforms. It brings everything—content scheduling, engagement, and analytics—into one dashboard, saving time and reducing errors. I can easily post to multiple accounts at once and access clear, consistent data to measure performance and share results with leadership. It keeps our strategy organized and our reporting effortless.

Leveled Up Our Agencies Social Efforts

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social has given our agency better visibility to performance of our client's social media efforts in both organic and paid. Our social media manager also handles a lot of creative (between longer form videos and reels) and is able to hand a high volume of creative across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though worth the investment, the "barrier to entry" from a pricing perspective is tough for smaller agencies. As our social media department has grown, the platform has grown with us, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to develop content and handle organic social media management for multiple clients across multiple verticals.

Sprout is one of the best social media management tools on the market

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Despite the availability of in-app analytics and scheduling for most social platforms, Sprout is our go-to for managing the several platforms my team operates. Keeping track of DMs, comments, social listening, post performance, and more can be easily accessed and monitored.

I'd also like to add that customer support is very responsive, and every issue I've had I've been able to speak with a real person and have the issue resolved swiftly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is a rather expensive tool, but even with a premium price tag, I do not have full access to every feature Sprout has to offer, like advanced analytics.

I also find Sprout to be a bit slow with rolling out updates. Collaborations were a major feature introduced to Instagram and Facebook, but it took Sprout several months to get collaborations working through the platform, and a few more months after that to work out some of the kinks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate numerous social media platforms, and keeping track of them all without Sprout would be a nightmare. Sprout solves this by putting all the relevant information and functions of each platform into 1 tool.

Sprout is my social media managing dream machine

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout Social for its wide range of features and intuitive, user-friendly interface. It’s clearly designed with communicators in mind, not just engineers, which makes it easy to get real value out of the platform. The way it turns data into actionable insights is spot on – using data to shape strategy is fundamental to my work, and Sprout nails it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Sprout offered a more affordable tier, it could become accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises that have not yet realised the true potential of social media marketing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the problem of fragmented social management by unifying publishing, engagement, and analytics in one place. (And it looks good while it does it.)

This benefits me by saving time, simplifying collaboration, and giving me clear data-driven insights to shape strategy.

How I manage our social presence using Sprout Social.

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Every day, I use Sprout Social to batch schedule my monthly content calendar so that I can steer clear of ad-hoc scheduling. I especially like the Smart Inbox feature. Sprout Social pools together all the mentions, DMs and reviews, so I can effortlessly troubleshoot and resolve concerns and I rely on the pre-defined responses to keep us on our tone and quickly answer messages. The customizable reporting dashboard gives me the ability to pull metrics and performance snapshots to show my coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding had its still more refining of set up for various locations and user access privileges for each location. A few of the review sources that I require are still not integrated and new reviews coming in are a little delayed in the system. I steadily change between accounts and experience some latency in the system, which might be disruptive for my process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has been a game changer for me. I can now consolidate my analytics and engagement scheduling within the app while monitoring my various account dashboards, which has been a time saver of a few hours each week. This has allowed me to build a more consistent response pattern within a 24 hour window and a noticeable improvement in response outcomes. It has become considerably easier to track both reputation signals and team activity which streamlines accountability and makes it easier to show ROI to my stakeholders.
