Monitoring Kicking It Up A Notch
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and the ease of use for multiple accounts. It gives you a robust page that looks nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is fine. The pricing might be an issue. It depends on what the needs are for monitoring and how economically-minded those running the accounts might need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not so much a problem that's being resolved. It's being able to track the engagement and to be able to do so with ease.
Fulfilled basic needs, not as robust for deeper social media engagement

It is very user friendly and easy to navigate

It feels pretty basic with its features. Wish it was more robust and had more in-depth features

Analytics and determining target audience. Reports on Sprout are so easy to maintain and export!

Learn as much as you can to take advantage of all that Sprout has to offer
Streamlined Social Support Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to process comments quickly in the Smart Inbox is invaluable, particularly for a team that handles multiple social pages with thousands of comments that don't actually need a response.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to have keyword triggers to flag priority messages would be nice, as would being able to have more bulk solve options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly shift through the noise and get to folks who actually need support. This is extremely important for a barebones social support team. Without this tool there's no way we would be able to help everybody who comes to us on social networks or measure the volume of particular issues in that channel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider whether you have time to actually review every single comment your page(s) receive. Keyboard shortcut mode in the smart inbox makes it easy to breeze through comments, but there aren't a lot of bulk solve options, so you could potentially waste a lot of time clearing comments not needing answers.
Easy to use for the multi-tasker
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface that allows you to juggle multiple accounts. Great for scheduling social media posts in advance. Reporting is an added bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit pricey for what it is. limited functionality with scheduled posts.

Handling social promotion for multiple brands.
Great solution for small business owners or similar types looking for a one-stop platform.

Easy to use, visually pleasing, great for low-volume accounts. Plus there's a nice workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great for smaller businesses or lower volume - not as great for high volume accounts at the corporate level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very useful for smaller accounts or smaller businesses that just need some social media organization and workflow; plus it eliminates the need for shared passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider it over Hootsuite for lower volume accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
Good easy way to keep up with Facebook software updates and keep updated on trending posts from competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain aspects of the app which I have not had a chance to try out but it seems fairly comprehensive. I would be curious if it has hootsuite scheduling capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a nonprofit and Sprout Social is particularly geared towards solving the challenges of nonprofit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lots of new features rolling out worth taking a looking especially for nonrofits

The publishing feature is great for organization. I also love the reporting section. They have twitter trends based on keywords which is helpful to track competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I with they had an option to create different columns to track Mentions per platformlike hootsuite. Currently they are all in one tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting had been super helpful in proving roi to the client.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to identify social posts based on day of the week

That as a user I cannot narrow my searches to a number of hours, just day
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a high volume of social posts coming into and around our brand sprout has allowed us to gather them all and respond as appropriate.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Sprout Social is always adding new features and I love the reporting. My team members and I can both make changes and we can share information with one another inside of the application. They have an iPad and iPhone app which makes scheduling on the go easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social has many great features but here are some areas that I wish were different. There have been times when the pictures don't seem to load Into posts at all or when download speeds of pictures are incredibly long. Pictures over a certain size take a while to upload. When posts go into drafts you don't always know until later, no other notification which can be frustrating. The mailbox feature is nice but it can be hard to maneuver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love having a snapshot of my users. It is also great having on place where I can connect and engage with people who are talking to me on social. I love the ability to grab profiles and general information on the people that I am talking to or thinking about following. It is also great to see which accounts aren't following and which accounts are no longer active on the platforms before I invest time and energy engaging them.

I like the smart inbox and the scheduling feature.

I wish the metrics went a little deeper.

We run multiple social media accounts for clients from Sprout; it helps us share a single view into what's publishing each week and how it's performing.
