Sprout Social - good for businesses large and small!
What do you like best about the product?
It may seem so small and obsolete, but my favorite part of Sprout Social is the notes feature. As someone who juggles a lot of tasks within my role, I oftentimes have an idea for a social post, but not enough actual time in the moment to create the post. If I don't write it down somewhere right away, I'll immediately forget about it. With the notes feature, it helps me jot down those thoughts, while also planning out my posts weeks in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tagging feature leaves something to be desired, especially on Facebook. It's definitely improved, but it's very finicky when it comes to actually identifying the account you're trying to tag. It also generates a limited number of accounts, which makes it difficult if you don't know the exact handle or username of the account you're trying to tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working for an organization with multiple social media pages, Sprout Social helps us immensely with our organization. Having all of our social profiles in one place as well as the ability to view all the posts that are being made is extremely helpful.
Helpful Social Listening Tool

What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit high for a small team/budget.

Powerful Scheduling with Minor Navigation Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout Social for its ability to quickly post to multiple platforms simultaneously and schedule posts when needed. This feature significantly boosts efficiency in my work at the news station, where timely social media updates are crucial. Additionally, I find the queuing feature immensely helpful, especially during weekends when there is less content. It allows me to queue national stories as far out as needed, providing flexibility and ensuring consistent updates. The queuing system's ease of use, especially its ability to reorder posts efficiently, adds to improved workflow management. Setting up an account on Sprout Social was straightforward, which made the initial experience smooth, although it took some time to get fully familiar with the site. Overall, these features make my job easier and support timely, strategic content distribution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the site can be a little hard to navigate at times. There are just a lot of different sections. When I try to delete an already posted social media post, it takes me a while to figure out how to do it each time. Additionally, when I go to delete a post that went up the same day, the automatic date set is often from a month ago, which adds to the confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to quickly post to multiple platforms and schedule content, which helps manage weekend content efficiently with its easy queuing feature.
Sprout Social has been a game-changer for our team’s social media strategy.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wish that the tag reporting would be a little bit more seamless when pulling data

A great all around software for large teams
What do you like best about the product?
We manage many social media accounts across many users, with different roles and responsibilities. Being able to manage these complexities with ease, and a friendly user interface, is a great feature of Sprout. Customer support from Sprout has always been helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be slow to catch up on platform updates, or if something is launched in a timely matter is can be buggy for a while afterwards. Also I wish analytics & listening were more comprehensive without having to upgrade.

Eases Social Management, Needs More Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendly nature of Sprout Social, which makes it easy for both tech-savvy team members and clients who are not familiar with social media to use. The reporting capabilities are outstanding and allow us to create visually appealing reports, which is essential for demonstrating value to our clients. I find the content scheduling feature particularly useful as it simplifies the process of managing over 100 user profiles. Additionally, receiving weekly performance emails for client folders saves me time by eliminating the need to individually check each report.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I find the setup process time-consuming, which was complicated by managing over 125 profiles and adapting to internal adjustments by platforms like Meta.","I'm disappointed by the limited ability for clients to comment directly on the calendar within Sprout Social—this feature is available with certain plans but not feasible for us due to the scale of our client base.","I can't integrate Google Analytics with our Sprout Social package, limiting our ability to combine those reports effectively.","Duplicating a report across client groups or folders is cumbersome because I have to start from scratch for each one, making it inefficient.","I am unable to schedule Facebook stories through Sprout Social, which restricts our scheduling capabilities to Instagram only, forcing us to resort to Meta Business Suite for story scheduling.","The pricing is noticeably on the high side, making it a point of contention and a push to look elsewhere by our higher-ups."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Sprout Social solves ease of use issues for non-tech savvy clients, simplifies content scheduling, and enhances reporting with visual metrics, improving overall efficiency.
A reliable, robust social media management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Sprout Social for years, across multiple jobs and now partnering with multiple client accounts. I've used almost every feature from regular content posting to reporting/analytics, social listening, employee advocacy, customer care, etc.
The reporting/ analytics can be a little confusing, as there is a LOT of data available, and it seems like some of the metrics don't always match up in different reports. E.g. it's not always clear if you're looking at organic only, or organic + paid. The solution to this is to set up custom reports and stick with them, to ensure you're making an apples-to-apples comparison.
The onboarding process is good, and I have found that customer service is easy to access. The software isn't cheap but it's a one-stop shop for companies/ orgs looking for a reliable, robust social management platform. I have recommended it to clients/ colleagues in the past and I will continue to do so.

What do you dislike about the product?
You have to have separate emails for each account. This makes it hard for agency partners to access client accounts.
There is so much information in the Reports section, that it can get confusing.
