Great Organization with Folders and Tags, but Search Can Be Frustrating

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the folders that Sprout has available to sort the cases from the smart inbox. All of the tags that can help organize cases/smart inbox are super helpful, and make it a lot easier to sift through all the engagements that come in. I also appreciate how Sprout updates the cases pretty immediately for the streams, which is helpful considering we use it every day for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is slightly difficult to search for certain things. For example, when I know that there's an engagement that is tagged with a specific tag and I cannot find it, sometimes it may be in a different folder that I wasn't aware it went into, which makes it difficult to find and a little frustrating. Another slight difficulty is when a closed case's user sends a new message, and rather than re-opening the case, it might create a new one separate from the previous case that doesn't show the prior messages, or it may not create a case at all and stay in the smart inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout really simplifies the process of identifying high-risk cases, which helps us ensure that we are thoroughly covering high-risk situations, brand love, and influencers. It also streamlines the way we check engagements, making the whole process much more manageable.

Efficient Multi-Platform Scheduling, but Occasional Publish Errors

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can set up posts across multiple accounts and platforms all in one place. The ability to make adjustments per platform makes it even more efficient to schedule content. I also enjoy the reporting features to manage my metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes there are publish errors with posts and I don't realize it until I check my metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows me to schedule my social media content and see the schedules of my collaborators content so we are not overlapping and effectly using our editorial calendar.

Great for Multi-Platform Scheduling, but Analytics Need Improvement

  • October 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule posts on multiple platforms at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a review is removed by the author, it still shows up in the report and is counted in the analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social posts 6-9 months in advance. It helps us save time and lighten our workload during the busier times of the year.

    Computer Software

Solid management and reporting tool

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The combination of scheduling and reporting capabilities has been really solid for juggling the organic social channels that my company prioritizes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We initially purchased Sprout's Advocacy software as part of our plan, but it hasn't been very useful for the kind of employee advocacy that is impactful for us (empowering employees to serve as "in-house creators" who express thought leadership uniquely, as opposed to just reposting assets from the company).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout has been a clear and useful reporting tool for us. I'm a fan of being able to create publicly viewable report links for month-over-month reporting.

    Financial Services

Easy to Use, All-in-One Tool

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sprout Social is how it centralizes all our social media management in one place. The scheduling tools are easy to use, the reporting is visually clear, and the analytics provide actionable insights. I also appreciate the Smart Inbox feature—it saves a ton of time by bringing all messages and mentions into a single dashboard.

Sprout Social makes collaboration seamless. My team can schedule, review, and approve posts in one workflow, which reduces errors and keeps our messaging consistent. The built-in task assignments and reporting tools make teamwork smooth and transparent.

The analytics are incredibly powerful. I can easily track performance across channels, identify trends, and create customized reports for leadership. It saves me hours each week compared to doing this manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation is that you can’t schedule a single post to publish at different times for various time zones. This feature would make global scheduling much more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the challenge of managing social media across a distributed, global team. It provides a single platform where we can plan, schedule, and approve content collaboratively, ensuring that our campaigns are consistent across time zones and markets. The shared inbox and reporting tools also make communication and performance tracking much smoother.

Efficient Content Management, Minor Glitches

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple and fast it is to push out content using Sprout Social. I find it incredibly valuable that I can push out an article or video to multiple social media accounts simultaneously, which significantly saves time. This efficiency allows us to focus our efforts on other critical areas of work. Furthermore, I appreciate the convenience of having everything centralized on one platform. Previously, we had to manage postings natively across multiple platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, which was quite cumbersome. Sprout Social has streamlined our workflow by allowing us to manage all our social media content from a single site. The initial setup was very simple, especially with a training session, and it was easy for us to get up to speed quickly. I also find great satisfaction in recommending Sprout Social to others, as evidenced by my high likelihood rating of 9 out of 10. Overall, it's an excellent tool for anyone needing to efficiently manage and disseminate content across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated when there are site-wide outages or bugs with Sprout Social, even though they usually get fixed quickly. It feels intimidating to learn everything the platform offers due to the vast number of features, especially when I'm trying to push out content quickly. Additionally, the issue of private messages sometimes disappearing or not appearing in chronological order is problematic. I really wish Sprout Social had the capability to toggle monetization on for YouTube directly, as we currently have to use YouTube natively for this, which is inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to efficiently distribute content across multiple social media platforms, saving time as it allows posting to various accounts simultaneously. This streamlines our workflow, enabling my team to focus on other tasks.

Sprout a great social media tool

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That I can schedule to multiple platforms at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is tough to navigate around to see what you have already scheduled and modify things if something needs to be changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves us time and effort by housing everything in one place rather then going to multiple platforms to post stuff.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the fact that all of my social accounts are regrouped on one page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The numbers only show the organic part of my work, specifically on META.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get the impression that Sprout is always working to make themselves better.

Love this platform for consolidating inboxes and finding insights

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can see all comments, DMs, tags, and all other engagement activities in one place. It's easy to respond to them and make sure I'm not missing anything. It's even picking up tags that are not appearing on my IG notification section.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling calendar and Instagram grid planner isn't as convenient as I hope it to be. I would love to have a feature where I can just drag the photos around the planner without having to reschedule each post just to see how it look like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our community has become much simpler now that everything is centralized in one place. The insights provided not only keep me informed about our own performance, but also offer some useful information about our competitors.
