Valuable Visual Insights with Minor Data Accuracy Issues

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for generating monthly reports, and I particularly like its visual insights. There is a graph or visual for almost all the metrics in the report, making it easy to read and understand. This feature provides valuable visual aid to clients who find numbers hard to comprehend and is also beneficial to our administration team in the marketing agency where I work. Additionally, the initial setup of Sprout Social was quite easy, as it just required a login.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data from Sprout Social is almost always different from what Ads Manager shows. This makes it hard to make clients understand the difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social offers visual aids that make complex data easier for clients to understand, providing valuable insights that are accessible to those who struggle with numbers.

Intuitive but Occasionally Unreliable

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social breaks down complex information across a long reporting period into a digestible and navigable user interface. It lets me break down metrics into nitty-gritty details, like looking at specific individual social engagements such as shares, saves, and comments over time, as well as story replies. The platform is easy to navigate, which is important when working with my colleagues, as it allows us to quickly and easily access the functionality without wasting time. I also found it very intuitive when I first started using it, with well-organized information and tabs, making it easy to feel comfortable and locate the information I needed quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's always some sort of tech issue, like my profile getting disconnected from Sprout Social, and I have to log back in to reconnect it. Also, there's sometimes a gap in metrics and reporting when syncing with the meta platforms, which results in missing or incomplete data during the reporting period. This isn't ideal because it leads to inaccurate metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to monitor and report metrics. It breaks down complex data into a digestible and navigable interface, letting me focus on specific social engagements like shares and comments over time. It’s intuitive, making it easy for my team to use without wasting time.

Centralized Social Management with Room for Improvement

  • April 28, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling tool of Sprout Social, which has been refined over the years. They've really improved the UX, and adding the ability to edit post content by platform when scheduling several at once was a game changer. It also provides one centralized place to handle tasks that would otherwise require manual efforts across several platforms. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The social listening tool leaves much to be desired
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social centralizes scheduling, publishing, social listening, reporting, and community management, saving me from doing it manually across platforms. The refined scheduling tool, especially the ability to edit posts by platform, makes my work easier.

Great Tagging for Analytics & ROI Dashboards, But Limited Seats Slow Us Down

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The tagging function to assist with ease of generating analytic dashboards and ROI
What do you dislike about the product?
We can only afford one seat in the app, so it is very difficult to keep up with tagging when we don't have multiple people using the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An all-in-one place to track analytics. It saves me so much time

User-Friendly with Room for Reporting Accuracy

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social very easy to use. In terms of scheduling and reporting, it has some great widgets. The easy-to-use interface is probably my favorite thing about it. The customer service I've received has been really great, especially with the new rep, Jonathan, who has been amazing and really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could definitely be some work on the accuracy of some of the reporting. Sometimes I go on to meta to check natively, and it's not always correct, or 100% accurate. They don't always have the most up to date tools. We have noticed that you can only upload, like, ten images in a carousel when Instagram made it so you upload 20 recently, and, also, they can't do multimedia either. Same issue for PDFs on LinkedIn and things like that. There's a few features that I would like to see, so we would be able to make our jobs more streamlined, basically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to schedule content across social platforms, upload media at optimized times, and generate reports. It has listening tools for better content creation. However, reporting accuracy could improve and some up-to-date features are missing, like multimedia uploads.

What do you dislike about the product?
Your agenda sometimes glitches for me IDK why?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for reviewing and scheduling content. It helps me with planning options for my busy content schedule.

Efficient Social Media Management with Room for Improvement

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Sprout Social is easy to use and has a clean, simple interface. I enjoy the convenience of scheduling posts and being able to count on them going up on time. Sprout makes workflow at work really easy, and my manager can approve my posts with ease, which is great for our company structure. I also like the convenience of Sprout and how visual the different reporting features are.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think on Sprout, what doesn't really work for me, there's a couple of things. The first thing is that I cannot post stories on Instagram and Facebook. I think only Instagram can have stories posted right now, which is really annoying because Meta connects both Instagram and Facebook. The other thing regarding stories is that you can't add links to stories. And we do that all the time for a call to action, to increase our engagement, ticket sales, and product sales. So, not being able to add links onto stories is really frustrating. I also find that sometimes my manager doesn't receive some of the notifications that I've uploaded a post into Sprout. Emails sometimes go into her spam. So maybe refining that process would make approvals a lot easier. Another frustrating thing is that you can only add up to three collaborators, but Instagram allows you to add up to five. It'd be great to add up to five collaborators on our post. Not being able to add five collaborators, not being able to add links on stories, not being able to add stories to Facebook, and emails going to the spam inbox are issues I have using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes scheduling posts easy, saving us from manual posting and logging into client accounts. It offers detailed reporting and data, better than Meta, with easy date toggling. The workflow approval system is smooth, enhancing our work efficiency.

Easy All-in-One Scheduling, Smart Inbox, and Shareable Reports

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use and keeps everything in one place. I like being able to schedule posts, manage messages, and pull reports without switching tools. The Smart Inbox is especially helpful for staying on top of engagement, and the reports look clean and are easy to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get pretty expensive, especially as you add more users or profiles. Some of the features feel a bit locked behind higher-tier plans. Also, while the reporting is great, customizing it beyond the basics can be a little limiting at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep all our social media work organized in one place, so we’re not jumping between tools. That saves a lot of time and makes it easier to stay consistent and responsive.
