Intuitive, Comprehensive, and Supportive
What do you like best about the product?
Getting started with Iterable has been a great experience. Setting up responsive email flows is super easy, and adjusting them based on results is no problem at all. We've been able to create campaigns that exactly suit our business and are excited to finish all of our integrations so that we can use all of the tools that Iterable makes available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because we're in the gaming industry and we're so heavily regulated, we are seeing challenges with Twilio integration for SMS campaigns. That's not Iterable's fault, though. It's just the nature of the industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, our company has run email campaigns very manually. Using Iterable's multi-channel automation means that we can accomplish more with a smaller team, and our smaller team is able to analyze results and make decisions quickly. We can adjust with the market and get ahead of our competitors right out of the gate.
Amazing Tool

Not much yet except for the ability to resend an email to non-openers.

Customer Lifecycle Communications
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great Tool
Fantastic ESP
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable's workflow builder is intuitive, and makes building complex flows a cake-walk.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was easier access to a file manager for media assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unifying all email communication flows under one system, with shared assets and templates. Introducing personalization and dynamic content.
Lots of features and integrations to help facilitate campaigns across multiple channels
What do you like best about the product?
The flexible API structure and accessible endpoints allow rapid exchange of data; the UI is easy to navigate and the segmentation tool (though there's definitely a learning curve) provides great insight into our audience's behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have seemed to be miscommunication between sales and the account managers on a few items - we expected the insights capacity to be fully integrated when we onboarded, but it was still in beta.
Also, the lack of built-in deliverability tracking within the platform has been a bit of a struggle but we're in the process of solving it.
Also, the lack of built-in deliverability tracking within the platform has been a bit of a struggle but we're in the process of solving it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilizing the API endpoints to marry user data + behavior with on-site traffic trends and data from other channels for a higher-level view of cross-channel activity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The warmup and transition period was smooth and we had plenty of support and a ramp-up plan that was easy to follow. For any snag we've hit, there has been a solution - though some of those have come in the form of third-party vendors at an additional cost. Before committing to ANY new platform, please fully consider your needs and build out several use cases to ensure that you're accounting for any additional functionality beyond the built-in scope of the product.
Great marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
how easy it is to create dynamic segments, workflows and email campaigns
What do you dislike about the product?
it does not help with data formatting we also need a CDP (such as segment)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are still realizing the benefits to us as we still have issues with having data flow into Iterable
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider how you will capture data and add it into Iterable
Great customer service, easy to use platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service is very responsive, the chat feature is a life saver. The tools are very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the reporting was more robust but the new features that have rolled out have helped this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable has allowed us to built out complex workflows for each phase of the customer lifecycle. The ability to integrate push with email and set up multiple experiments has streamlined our process significantly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the support chat.
Great software, helpful team, easy onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I love the access to their CX team via chat. They can help me find what I am looking for quickly and are generally very helpful. I love their workflow capabilities and that you can now see aggregate workflow data.
Because they are smaller, they really care about their clients and their needs. They are always improving their software and adding new things that make my job easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
They are a smaller company so they are still working out some glitches but all in all, they are helpful in addressing our concerns when we have issues. Hopefully as their team grows those glitches become less and less common.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable allows multiple team members to work across multiple projects easily. We are able to manage drips and campaigns and it's very user friendly which makes onboarding new users easy.
Helpful tool for blast & trigger email marketing
What do you like best about the product?
The Iterable team is constantly improving its product and is eager for feedback on features and changes. Their service team is always available and willing to help troubleshoot any issues. It's easy to set up UTM parameters, create custom audience segments, build "snippets" for content that's re-used across emails, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were easier ways to categorize emails (but I believe the team is actively testing a version to potentially roll out this feature) to streamline reporting. I wish heatmap data could be included in reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to send more personalized email communications through Iterable's segmentation features. We're able to automate more communications by building out workflows and triggers.
Iterable is great tool for email marketing, especially when clients pair it with Revv for donations.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop function of composing an email. It is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the web push feature, most users pull through with a placeholder email. I reached out to iterable support so my actual email would pull through so I could obtain proofs, but did not get very much help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When paired with Revv, we are able to automate a lot of functions through workflows. Saves us time and energy.
Simple UI and powerful targeting
What do you like best about the product?
I love the combination of overall intuitiveness/ease of use with powerful features such as the workflow feature. I also particularly love how the ElasticSearch database and their APIs give us the flexibility to represent our complex data easily, and surface that data easily to marketers using the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a couple issues early on with stability, with emails failing to be sent, though that's not been an issue recently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to empower very complex email targeting/user segmentation while keeping the software accessible to entry-level marketers.
