  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Iterable's segmentation and list management features exceptionally easy to use, which simplifies the process of targeting specific customer groups for our marketing efforts. The ability to design campaign templates is another highlight, allowing me to create visually appealing and effective communications. I am impressed by how smoothly Iterable handles mass personalized marketing emails, making it an indispensable tool for reaching out to customers. Additionally, the platform's capability to comfortably handle omnichannel communication sets it apart, responding to our need for innovation. I also found the initial setup to be straightforward and hassle-free, contributing to a smooth transition from other software. Overall, these features, coupled with Iterable's continuous innovation and ease of use, make it a highly recommended platform for my marketing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find getting data into Iterable challenging. Additionally, the speed of processing data is an area that could use improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to send mass personalized marketing emails and push notifications, leveraging segmentation and easy-to-use lists, and designing campaign templates, making omnichannel communication effective.

Very good for our use case, needs improvement in conversion tracking.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, Iterable is just easy to use. The interface is intuitive, never overwhelming, and allows me to accomplish tasks without having to dig through endless menus. What stands out most for me is the visual journey builder-it enables me to design customer flows with branches, delays, and varied messages in a way that's both clear and genuinely enjoyable. If I need to adjust something or try out a new idea, I can do it quickly without it becoming a major undertaking.

Segmentation is another feature I really appreciate. I’m able to create detailed audiences based on behaviors and attributes, then launch targeted campaigns without always needing help from developers. This lets us move faster, personalize more effectively, and avoid sending generic messages to everyone.

I also value having everything centralized. With email, push, in-app, and SMS all managed within the same journey, it’s much easier to keep messaging consistent and avoid accidentally spamming people from different platforms. Overall, the integrations and personalization options feel reliable, making the whole experience smooth once everything is set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main frustration lies with conversion tracking. When it functions properly, it’s great, but too often it doesn’t feel reliable enough to trust completely. This becomes a real issue when I need to demonstrate impact or optimize campaigns. At times, the reported numbers seem inconsistent with those from other tools, and it can be difficult to understand exactly why certain actions are being attributed the way they are.

This uncertainty makes it challenging to optimize with confidence, since I can never be entirely sure whether performance has genuinely changed or if the tracking is simply acting up. I would really appreciate more consistent tracking, clearer documentation explaining how attribution works, and improved options for adjusting it to better align with how we measure conversions internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable allows us to manage lifecycle marketing efficiently, preventing our processes from becoming disorganized or overly manual. We rely on it to automate customer journeys, deliver personalized messages at scale, and maintain organized communication across multiple channels. This platform saves us time, simplifies targeting, and enables us to create more intelligent flows that respond to real user behavior, rather than relying solely on generic email blasts.

User-Friendly with Robust Automation, But Needs Global Consideration

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Iterable is fairly easy to use, making the process of creating customer journeys simplistic and not daunting. I find the Iterable Academy to be an excellent resource, along with the support function where the staff are readily available to help. The team is very friendly, super helpful, and patient, which enhances my experience with the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more user-friendly views within Iterable itself would be super helpful. It would be great to be able to see something like a list of all purchases within a defined timeframe in a dashboard in Iterable rather than having to rely on API calls, similar to how I can see data on email sends.

Providing users with the ability to customise based on region would also be great, e.g. being able to use UK formats for dates and currency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to automate customer journeys and track campaign performance, helping me understand customer behavior and address issues like email delivery and voucher eligibility.

Streamlined Automation with Some Limitations

  • November 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Iterable immensely beneficial for automating our marketing tasks, which spans across different phases of the customer lifecycle - from early customer journeys to retention and win-back. This capability has significantly helped us manage the customer lifecycle and enhance company metrics. I particularly appreciate the frequency cap feature, which is crucial in preventing us from spamming our customers. Additionally, the easy integration with Movable Ink stands out as a potent advantage. This direct integration is facilitated by Iterable's simple and user-friendly UX, making the process seamless and more efficient. The Iterable platform's ease in sending marketing messages across various channels, including emails, push notifications, SMS, and in-app, is another valued feature. Finally, the fast-response time from Iterable support is greatly appreciated and has come in handy during times of distress. Overall, these aspects of Iterable align well with our goals and processes, boosting our operational efficiency and effectiveness in marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limit on the number of dynamic fields allowed in Iterable and the inability to delete existing dynamic fields. This constraint forces us to reuse previous fields to avoid reaching our limit, which can become quite messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to automate customer journeys, improving company metrics and managing lifecycles. It prevents spamming with frequency caps and offers seamless integration with MovableInk, enhancing marketing efficiency.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Iterable facilitates executing marketing campaigns efficiently and effectively, thanks to its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and robust segment builder. The drag-and-drop feature is particularly valuable as it simplifies the campaign creation process, making it accessible and user-friendly for creating impactful email campaigns effortlessly. Additionally, being able to easily create lists of customers to contact significantly enhances the workflow, allowing for better-targeted communication strategies. These features collectively streamline my email marketing efforts, saving time and reducing complexity, which is why I rate it an 8 out of 10 for recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting in Iterable to be somewhat clunky at times. There is room for improvement, particularly in the heatmap feature, which could be more effective in displaying the performance of different snippets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Iterable enables easy creation of customer contact lists and execution of marketing campaigns efficiently through its drag-and-drop and segment builder features.

What do you like best about the product?
Iterable features an intuitive user interface, a convenient drag-and-drop email template editor and email journey builder. It also offers robust audience segmentation and a variety of reporting options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The options for sorting and searching campaigns could use some improvement, particularly once you have created hundreds of them. It would also be helpful to have the ability for users to generate events directly from the frontend. Usage limits on profiles, sends, and events require careful planning as you scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable enables us to centralize and automate our customer communications, which simplifies the process of running personalized email campaigns and onboarding journeys. The platform's segmentation and workflow features help boost engagement, and its comprehensive analytics give us the insights needed to optimize for a stronger ROI. Iterable saves us time, streamlines our processes, and elevates the overall customer experience.

Efficient Marketing Comms with Room for Improvement

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Iterable for marketing communications, focusing on large-scale email sends to mixed segments. I particularly appreciate the journeys feature in Iterable because it offers multiple trigger options, making it versatile in solving various problems. Additionally, the layout is intuitive and allows for easy navigation, especially when viewing a journey for the first time, such as for quality assurance purposes. This comprehensive layout facilitates understanding and managing the journeys efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that there is a lot of repetition required when building templates and lists in Iterable. This repetitive process can be time-consuming and cumbersome, as it lacks a seamless workflow. Although the feature of saved rows has helped reduce some of the repetition, it still does not facilitate a smooth and efficient experience. Implementing predictive text could significantly improve this aspect by streamlining the process of creating templates and lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable for large scale email sends to mixed segments and find its journey feature, with multiple trigger options and an intuitive layout, solves various problems and simplifies QA processes.

Versatile Email and Notification Platform, Needs Heatmap Fix

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Iterable extremely beneficial as it encompasses all the necessary core features I require, particularly for marketing emails, SMS, and web push notifications. I appreciate the regular feature updates that Iterable provides, as they often resolve minor issues we encounter, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing user experience. The quick response to known issues or bugs with timely updates is a significant plus, ensuring functionality and reliability. Additionally, I value the ability to submit feature requests, which makes me feel involved in the product's development and future enhancements. These aspects of Iterable contribute to a seamless and efficient marketing communication workflow, empowering me to connect with customers effectively by leveraging the data we have about them and ensuring communications are both timely and relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed issues with the heatmaps in Iterable not displaying the number of clicks throughout the email correctly. The discrepancy arises because the heatmaps UI was updated earlier this year, and depending on whether you view the updated or previous version, the number of clicks shown differs. This inconsistency makes it difficult to assess the effectiveness of different email elements, particularly when conducting A/B testing and reviewing heatmaps for tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to communicate regularly with customers, balancing frequency and relevant content. Its feature updates resolve small issues and allow feature requests.
