Experience Using Iterable
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is an amazing CRM system, particularly for those who value robust automation features.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where there’s room for improvement is the ability to export HTML templates, would reallylike this. Currently, exporting templates often results in missing content or incomplete coding, which can be frustrating when porting templates to other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is solving the challenge of creating personalized, multi-channel customer experiences at a large scale which is good because I work for a huge automotive company. By enabling advanced automation, it simplifies the process of managing email, SMS, and webhook communications, ensuring that messages are timely, relevant, and consistency.
Seamless marketing automation experience
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is at the same time powerfull and easy to use. The system has not only a great interface, but also an awesome stability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could improve its analytics features for the campaigns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable makes it easy to create a perfect experience for our users. Also, it keeps improving everytime which means - I'm becoming more productive in each iteration.
Best ESP Hands Down
What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Iterable every day to send out more than 300 million emails a year, and the UI is very intuitive and has an easy learning curve. I've used several other ESPs (Salesforce, GetResponse, AWebber to name a few), and by far Iterable is the best. Customer support is very responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't at my company during implementation/integration, so I can't speak to that. My biggest dislike is that we're only able to use a subset of Handlebars.js and it's not customizable, so we're limited in some of the personalization and other things we'd like to do. However, Iterable Support is looking into a possible solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling us to send over 300 million emails a year in a seamless fashion without getting mired in the technical aspects of mail servers.
Super helpful team & an easy to use system
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of using the system (as well as the implementation/intergration) - anyone can use Iterable, unlike other CRM systems. The customer support team are also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few features that are missing that would make everyones lives easier such as a) attachements in emails b) paused delivered during times of the year c) more visability of customers in workflows (who has the workflow just ran through it)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows us to communciate to our customers in a complex way, without the system itself being overwhelmingly complex - saving time and resource in the business.
Excellent Platform for Company Emails
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is so easy to use for all of our company's needs. We use it every day for emails that we send out 5-7 times a week to various groups. When I first started, I found Iterable Academy super helpful to understand how to use the platform and implement different ideas into our emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some kinds of features missing that I think could elevate the platform more, things like countdown timers and animated features that are eye catching in some popular emails that I receive from other businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to be able to set up journeys to send out emails, push notifications, and sms all in the same journey without having to send them all separately or set them up hundreds of times each week for our emails.
Braze has given me granular data about my campaigns and lifecycle
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable can get really granular with its reporting and segmentation. It's friendly to go from anywhere in the platform to the most detailed aspects of a user interaction with comms and events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could have a better search system. It was really hard to find some articles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable can show me what a customer did at any point in time. That's is really important when we are trying to be accurate with reporting on the customer journey.
It's a feature-rich, omnichannel marketing platform in a simple, intuitive package.
What do you like best about the product?
You can put a lot of the "thinking" behind your campaign and user management into Iterable. Specifically, the segmentation and personalization capabilities are phenomenal and really set the platform apart from its competitors. Whether you need to use event or user fields, you can easily create dynamic lists that users enter/exit as they evolve or create conditional logic that's as complex as is needed to make your campaigns work for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and analytics tools, while powerful, sometimes lack the depth or customization that would make them truly insightful for all use cases. For example, building custom reports or filtering data across multiple campaigns can require workarounds. My complaints in this corner of Iterable are more quality of life issues than capability issues, though. If you can't get everything you want in terms of reporting and analytics, there's probably a third-party integration or way to use the API to get what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a developer by trade, so I love the handlebars and merge parameters. It can be a bit of a learning curve for those not accustomed to managing logic in this way, but I have done some crazy data manipulations and personalization work that took a subpar data schema and turned it into the personalization outcomes desired by marketers.
Specific to the marketing tools, I like that it's flexible enough that I can follow the heuristics of the platform as a means to an end. For example:
- There are intuitive error messages when you're missing something.
- You can keep it simple or make things complex as needed.
- It's easy to marry internal features to outside web services.

Great!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Iterable for a while now, and honestly, I’m super impressed. The platform has so many great features, and the support has been top-notch. Shoutout to my rep, Alex, who’s been incredibly responsive and always quick to help whenever I have a question!
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, I’ve got two small but important feature requests: an undo button (because, let’s face it, we all make mistakes!) and auto-save to make sure nothing gets lost mid-edit. Adding these would take Iterable from great to absolutely perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Iterable has made my marketing campaigns more efficient, effective, and data-driven, which frees me up to focus on big-picture strategies instead of getting bogged down in manual tasks. It’s a huge win for both productivity and results!
Awesome, super user-friendly email marketing platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and fun to use, fast reporting capabilities and all the features that I need as an email marketing professional. Also very happy with the customer support we received by the helpful and friendly team at Iterable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about Iterable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We partnered with Iterable for our email marketing campaigns, Journeys and SMS deployment. We're able to set up journeys easily and send emails and SMS to our audience.
One of the most intuitive UI/UX in the space that I have ever used paired with great support & docs
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use while still mainting the complexity and advanced tools necessary to do unique and highly customizable things for your business to stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some usage metrics that would be helpful. Right now you can see your current usage but it would be nice to see what the usage is out of your limit instead of having to refer back to the contract.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize dynamic content very heavily in our sends and the ease of use with Iterable's handlebars and dynamic content makes it easy to execute these campaigns.
