Efficient ticket resolution.

What do you like best about the product?
Solarewinds integration has allowed our organization to quickly recognize performance issues and route tickets accordingly resulting in less downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still trying to configure levels of tickets and the amount that are created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to recognize performance issues timely. With the integration we are resolving incidents faster resulting in less downtime to customers.

Server and Application Monitoring at its best!

What do you like best about the product?
Server and Application Monitor software developed by SolarWinds is always a great software to take in consideration for your company. And this particular product in common is a great one and it's because has a extensive and customizable platform and workflow that allow users to monitor resources, processes and application performance as well. Besides all this facts, this software can be integrated with open source clients like OpsGenie or AppOps in order to check alerts from applications and resources that are being evaluated
What do you dislike about the product?
This software offers a great workflow but its GUI is always outdated, its architecture seems to be complex and its pricing is very high compared to other similar solutions. It has some glitches that need to be fixed but in overall this software delivers what it says. And I don't see something else bad about SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SolarWinds has helped and solved a lot in our company, we find incidents that my department and I thought that were solved once encountered the first time and all of that before the company is affected by some collateral damage caused by that or clients start complaining about issues with data or RDS getting bad signs of internal OS. With the implementation of OpsGenie, we were able to organize and set how events are being categorized in order to make a great experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SolarWinds works for larger systems and companies as well this software is highly recommended, you can have everything set and in place to give the best experience either to your employees or your clients as well.

What do you like best about the product?
We use this software on daily basis to monitor performance servers, network, and other appliances. It also alerts via email or/and text msg when a node goes down. Very useful tool with many bells and whistles.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wakes me up the the middle of the night -- but I set it up to do it in case of problems. So, I shouldn't really complain :)

Monitoring network and the servers with this software.

What do you like best about the product?
Solarwinds APM has really defined the field here. I love the ability to query with WMI, or use other triggers to connect and query for application performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales cycle. It seems sales is always on you about meeting their quota and whatever special deal they can get you if you order or renew by the end of the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product gives me insight into server performance, allowing me to see where the bottlenecks are on servers and correlate to issues we're experiencing. This helped resolve database contention issues, giving us insight into adding more RAM to increase caching performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dedicate someone to managing the platform. It doesn't maintain itself. You need people actively using the platform, and engaged with it.

An amazing tool

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about this product is that it provides a complete solution for monitoring and analyzing data. Librato offers various services that help understand the data and provides wonderful visualizations. Additionally, it provides services that can offer activity alert notifications on various metrics when processing is performed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The collaboration of the Librato team is not very good from what I've heard. The team works independently and often provides less frequent updates. It would be difficult if the client has a client to respond to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for configuration and data analysis in a group setting. I would do it in a research lab, so we use this application to consolidate and review data from the entire lab. It was an easier transition in learning, as some of the lab members had been using the application for some time before the rest of us started using it. I would suggest finding someone to help you learn it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My company chose this product because it met the client's requirements. I can't say it will be the same with your company as well. There are many products on the market that offer a similar service. I would highly recommend conducting proper research before considering this product.
