Great resources to outline a process for RPA in an organization
What do you like best about the product?
I found the vast array of resources, templates, and suggested process documentation from Blue Prism very helpful as we built out the process for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any negative aspects to highlight on my experience with Blue Prism.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blue Prism provides almost every area of our organization the opportunity to think twice about their processes to find opportunity for improvement with RPA. Tasks or activities that are a nuisance have been automated to bring opportunity for more value-added work.
Blue Prism the best RPA solution.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can integrate it to other tech like python.
What do you dislike about the product?
IE automation seems slower rather than Chrome. Blue Prism should really improve their IE Automation because there are systems that is only accessible via IE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes me more careful when solving a problem like I think of the possible impact when I did this or that.
My Blue Prism experience
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Blue Prism for more than a year now and what I like about it is the user-friendly features like dragging and dropping of stages, very well-documented instructions on how the stages work, and the library of best practices available in the Blue Prism Portal. I also like how easy it is to design the process using a workflow style architecture. I also like how Blue Prism handles exceptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful feature of Blue Prism would be the code stages. I know it is nice to have this for those IT programmer guys but I think this stage defeats the purpose of the whole user-friendliness of the software. I've worked with some developers who enjoy writing codes and they almost used Blue Prism with code stages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my projects are end-to-end finance processes. Benefits would include, non-stop operation, no breaks, almost 100 % quality due to the reduction of some usual human error, reduction of typographical errors, and real-time reporting of results or outputs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blue Prism will be a great choice if you are walking the path to RPA. They offer great instructions and best practices to smoothly develop and deploy robots for any of your business processes. Almost all platforms or windows applications are now fully supported.
Recommend for enterprise automation
What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism is the best tool for building enterprise automation. More excited thing is Blue Prism continuously expands its capability from transitional RPA to advanced RPA with cognitive service. I can always find automation solution using Blue Prism. It seems blue prism doesn't have a limitation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope I can change the theme color (my favorite background is black) of blue prism editor, like other programming editors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am using Blue Prism to improve the productivity of operation activity in back office and integrate with multiple applications. It is fast and accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have experience with Blue Prism, it is ok. Blue Prism has all documents to train and guide you. It is a good product for business user to do the automation using its template, as well as for tech geek to build more customized objects using programming skills.
Excellent RPA tool
What do you like best about the product?
Blue prism user interface is excellent. Its very easy to understand just like a flowchart. A person with very limited or no programming knowledge can also learn the tool very easily. We can make our solution more scalable and reliable as we have the option for writing customised code with programming languages like C# or vb.net. It can be integrated with other application which make it excellent in the market.Blue prism works with wide variety of applications like mainframe,web,windows,excel,SAP.It also have built capabilities for reading PDF (OCR).Blue prism has wide range of built in functions and the vendor also provides many VBO's.They have introduced new spying mode with the latest version.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I want to highlight as dislike. But,I would recommend the encryption in credential manger.Currently this can be easily decrypted which is security threat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been working with Blue prism more than 2 years now.I was able to automate many process that require full time employ. The processes included applications like mainframe,web,emial,windows,SAP etc.
The users were happy about the time Bot would save and were happy about they will not have to do these repetitive tasks.No time constraints ,Business was able to use the robot 24*7.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blue Prism is one of the excellent RPA tool available in the market.If you are beginner in the technology this will be the perfect choice.It has wide built in functionalities.Even if you don't have programmatic knowledge it does not matter.

I like a lot about blue prism, especially the way it automates the applications.
It doesn't modify any application, instead it gets to the root elements to capture them into the automation.
Also, its speed and stability is added advantage.
Once errors are properly handled and proper rules are set for the bot,
BP will complete the automation at ease, unlike any other automation tool.
Queues, Auto-scheduler, are charm!
Tracking back the log for errors is absolutely easy
Latest updates like Chrome, mainframe and SAP automations works like the way it should be.
Coding is very easy, even the noobs can learn and code
Control room and development studio are in one box unlike any other automation softwares in market

Some connections issues with runtime machines.
Outlook issues
I felt pdf, citrix automation are difficult.
unknown errors occur while creating connections between databases, and also when used locally.
Though there is a huge support of Microsoft libraries available, there ae some critical libraries missing, which will serve great automation purposes.

Since a lot of data involved and its secure, Business had good confidence about their data being circulated in BP application
For instance, one process which we automated which had an average handling time as 2 hours, which is now immensely reduced to 7 - 9 minutes depending upon the load..!

What do you like best about the product?
The Blueprism tool gives us many options to design the workflows in a robust way, the entire integration like control room, schedulers, credential manager into the tool gives the developers the flexibility to test and deploy as per the requirement to the clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Development process is little tricky where the developer needs to be very well known about the tool, its not like self descriptive like and many timespan activities which needs the code according to the required result for the output in days or months or hours, Spying of the elements is good but those will not have the screenshots in AA mode.

Business problems includes solving of the Tickets generated and gathering of the system health, database related functions..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please make sure developer is very well aware of the tool and its options, there are many options available to give us the best results for the developments to the customer. make sure the environment is set up according to the tool and requirements as the RPA tool is based on structure data and any change in the environment can lead to unexpected results. Every things we do should be done suing a config file and all the values to the variables should be from config or run time should not be hard coded at any cost in the development. Cost wise it would be little expensive consider for huge automation so it will be worthy.

What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism tool provides excellent user interface to the users,which helps them to automate process easily and quickly.Blue Prism tool provides excellent automation in different areas like finance,banking,insurance,risk management team etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now I have not found any issues or dislikes to be highlighted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through Blue Prism tool I was able to automate process which includes several business logic as well as various manual activities. Main benefit in using Blue Prism tool is that it can automate SAP logon application really quickly and effective automation can be done for it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blue Prism provides a really good user interface to the users, so that they can automate process even without having any programming languages. And also integration of Blue Prism with other software is also really simple.
Blue Prism is Easy To Learn
What do you like best about the product?
I like best is that Blue Prism is a low code platform, even though you aren't an expert in programming you can easily learn it. You can learn Blue Prism in a month by reading the guides and doing the excercises from the BP Portal. Also it has Business Objects which are reusable, and can be exported and imported easily for others to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the part of writing collection, writing a collection with big data on excel are slow. So instead of using the "Write collection" action, I used other way like writing collection as CSV then Copy Paste to an Excel File, that way writing would be faster, but the con is you need to "Show" excel to Copy Paste the CSV File.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the problem of recording employees timesheets into a reconciled report in just minutes. I realized that it completes the process faster, because the Bot don't hesitate and doesn't get tired.

Read the guides carefully to learn the basics, and use the Blue Prism template for easy integration with team.
Fast, versatile and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to develop processes in blue prism since you can drag and drop stages. Also there are lots of useful pre-built objects. And in case you need a new functionality, you can easily create one via code stage. Also, Error Handling is also flexible through the use of Recover and Resume Stages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Objects and VBOs are not properly documented. And I cannot test the alert stage because there is a special licensing for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invoice Upload Automation, Database Manipulation, Email Handling and SAP, Excel, Word and PDF automation. It's easy to develop since there are available VBO's and Blue Prism is ready to interact with the said environments.
