JumpCloud is the answer to our IT prayers especially when dealing with clients who are remote.
What do you like best about the product?
I am so happy to to use JumpCloud 2FA on managed devices. This added security for logging into a computer, helps decrease attack surface and perfect for a lot of the users who are always on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a MSP , I'd like all features available to us as a NFR, so we can test and bring added value to our clients. Most recently is the password manager. I don't like the new billing structure. T 10 users should remain free anything above should be billed for the difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing computers outside of an office with security policies. This is helping us move clients off on premise equipment with cloud directory.
It’s a very great platform to access ur resources and make ur business experiences a whole better
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive and innovative
Very easy to use device management settings

What do you dislike about the product?
The price needs to be better adjusted for maximum marketing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far I haven't saw any issue so far along
Excellent solution to centralize and secure your devices and users !
What do you like best about the product?
The solution is easy to use and the GUI is intuitive. They release a lot of features all year round and the support is responsive.
It's also easy to integrate JumpCloud with Microsoft Azure and synchronize the groups you want.
We were able to easily set up native encryption on our devices (Windows, macOS and Linux) with JumpCloud's pre-configured policies.
We also like the SSH user management which is really easy to set up. Interesting for Microsoft Active Directory users who want to use a centralized SSH management.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is really a lack of effort in the translation of the platform. I think at least the user console could be translated into several languages
Also, it's impossible to extract attributes from the Active Directory with the integration and it prevents us from using attributes within the platform.
It would also be possible to adjust their pricing for people who want to use most of their features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their LDAPS and RADIUS services are really useful for our needs and to secure our connections with the MFA.
It is also easy to add SSO connectors with their 830 pre-configured connectors.
We are currently working on adding all of our tools to an SSO connection when possible and with the support of OIDC connectors, it will be even easier.

Nothing so far, I'm yet to use certain areas of the system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User logins to devices, policy management and secuity. Password management is also a nice bonus.
A great alternative to Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how it connect my users securely to their devices, servers, networks, apps, and files. I can use JumpCloud as my active directory. I find much better to use the some of the alternatives in the market
What do you dislike about the product?
This is more of a wish. I really would like to have a RRM tool included for supporting devices. I don't think this is thier fault it is more of an apple issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed Apple devices including IOS Iphones Ipad and Mac computers along with Windows and android devices. This allows me to deploy the resources those employees painlessly
the amazing features of JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
It is a complete and easy-to-use platform.
its highlight is certainly the super effective cloud system that the platform uses to manage all the computers integrated into the system, the feedback is immediate, whether changing a password or adding/removing a user, for example

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately for Chocolatey, that's the only downside of JumpCloud.
Don't get me wrong, Chocolatey is fantastic, but it is not working well on JumpCloud. Sometimes the application fails to install, and JumpCloud shows it was successful. To try a new installation, it is necessary to browse the local files and delete the traces of the application that chocolatey failed to install.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the company's machine park, helping to enter users and manage passwords, brings us security with the two-factor authenticator and inserting particular policies in each machine, for example, the lock screen.
Enjoyable Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud as a MDM for apple devices. I was impressed with the free trial of JumpCloud. I liked that I was able fully use the platform without restrictions. Once I hit the cap on devices. I did try out another MDM. But it wasn't as polished as JumpCloud. I have decided to pay for services to fully manage all my Apple devices. Pricing for EDU customers is very inexpensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have an issue with is, I can't push iOS updates via the console. But after speaking with Jordan Berry, I was informed that is feature is in the works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous IT director was managing Apple devices as personal devices. I was not too fond of that for obvious reasons. As a K-12 school district, I have to make sure the devices a properly setup and safe for my students to use. JumplCloud allowed me to secure the devices and disable certain services, mainly FaceTime and iMessage.
The Best SSO Option Out There
What do you like best about the product?
A huge plus about JumpCloud is that credentials are cached locally. That means that were there to be a problem with the connection to their servers (though this hasn't happened to us), we would still be able to access our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the months that we've used JumpCloud, there has been *nothing* that we have found frustrating or bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an MFA and SSO solution that worked with a mixed environment of Windows and Linux servers. JumpCloud is meeting this need admirably.
Comprehensive and easy to use SSO provider
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's interface is super easy to understand and use. The Knowledge base of solutions is top notch and it has been handy when setting our IdP. We were able to integrate with our applications very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the UI/UX is for ease of use over the speed of use. I wish there was a pro mode for the UI that increases the information density and allows one to access the functions from one page instead of clicking through several pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO, IdP and Identify management are the issues that Jumpcloud is solving for.
Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
This service allows you to replace on site Active Directory server with a cloud based solution to manage users across multiple devices - it works so well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of - all works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the need to use Active Directory... which has enabled us to get rid of an on site server.
