Very easy to control MAC
What do you like best about the product?
User Binding with devices like windows and mac
What do you dislike about the product?
User integration with a local user with the same name but different devices in windows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
same local user name binding with different jump cloud user
Excellent platform, doesn't over sell and constantly over delivers.
What do you like best about the product?
They are releasing great new features all the time and always staying at the top of the industry. The Recent addition of OS Updates has been a great additional feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the really specific technical Mac based MDM policies need to be manually created external to the GUI, which isn't a huge issue but an area for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud solves a bunch of different ISO-related technical controls for us, as well as general IT ease of management for our Mac and windows based fleet.
It has helped us quickly pivot to full remote-managed hardware.

Easy to use, feature packed
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Configuration is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a full fledged actived directory. Then again its not meant to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an ldap solution for multiple clients remotely
Powerful and intuitive product to manage Teams
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is very straightforward to use. I was able to migrate my entire organization within just a few hours.
The level of customization in the User deployment is unmatched, and the synchronization is near instant.
Being able to activate or deactivate a user account at a specific moment is excellent.
I had the pleasure to need to contact customer service twice.
Both times the agents were very responsive and solved my issue in the first attempt while being super patient and friendly.
The product documentation is very detailed and offers all information required in an easy-to-read way.
I also love that the pricing is transparent and affordable for any size.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish JumpCloud offered somewhat more customization within the presentation of itself.
Let me choose my color scheme for the user portal. And maybe allow me a custom domain or at least a custom subdomain.
Also, the two-factor authentication deployment could be more straightforward for the users.
Duo still uses the outdated embed, but TOTP has to be used without it.
Why can't I enforce the JumpCloud Protect app without, otherwise, at least TOTP (which could potentially be phished)?
And why is TOTP the only allowed MFA method for admin accounts?
The last feature I'm missing is Risk-based access, as right now, I can either enable or disable MFA for my users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud became our central Identity Provider and the single source of truth for the organization.
We use it to manage user-, group- and software provisioning over SAML and SCIM.
It saves us many hours, which would otherwise be used to manage the users manually.

Release your headache by cloud AD service
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud AD works and no worry about the server being down or will shut down due to updates or uncertain hardware issues. Since we went to JumpCloud, We have been rid of worry about users being unable to log in to their devices or losing access to critical business data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I found so far. We are using this for AD services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to maintain your local AD service or maintain a server to do this, maintain and backups are just too much to deal with if you do it yourself.
Great for HomeLabs
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud makes identity management for my homelab really easy. It integrates with Google Workspace and propagates password changes to other services like LDAP, allowing my family members to have one password for all. I haven't really touched it either after setup, it's one of those things that you can safely forget about once it's working.
I'm big on services that provide a cost effective way to use them in a HomeLab setting, any service that is willing to allow full featured small scale deployments is a service that I'm willing to advocate for as it shows that they care about the professional community and are committed to building a great product.

What do you dislike about the product?
The LDAP configuration in the beginning was a little confusing, but after some trial and error I got through it and got everything working. Other than that there's nothing that I really dislike about JumpCloud, it works perfectly for what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an easy way to allow LDAP login for users to service like Google Workspace, iDRAC, vSphere, PAM logins, and network shares. With JumpCloud my users can have a singular login that gives them login to all those services.
Easy to Implement and Manage With No Hassle!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a right-out-of-the-box Directory SaaS product that you can use to manage your devices. From configuring users (which you can import from various services) to adding devices (just a quick install of the agent, you can automate this to get max effect) to configuring device groups and device level policies, JumpCloud can replace your on-site AD within a day! Including the Apple MDM, Patch Management, and App Deployment features, JumpCloud is well along its way to becoming a fully-fledged RMM with a very good feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have come across is that there is no way to export JumpCloud logs to SYSLOG, which makes integrating with a SIEM difficult (either the SIEM provider needs to build an integration with JumpCloud's APIs to pull in logs or the end user needs to set up an AWS Serverless App. For those without an AWS environment, this is an additional expense that should not be required to implement wholistic logging across an environment).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving my computer management problem by allowing me to manage systems (both on-prem and remotely) without having to worry about maintaining an Azure AD environment. This allows me to manage my users in a cost effective way with no additional overhead beyond the JumpCloud cost.
Great for companies that use Google Business and need user directory services
What do you like best about the product?
This is by far the simplest cloud-based user directory/SSO I've ever used. The UI is intuitive, the settings are in easy-to-understand terms, and the SSO integration is one of the simplest I've ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for Windows/Mac MDM-style features, but I really get the feeling that those are on the way. If JumpCloud could rival Microsoft Intune/EPM and Mosyle MDM, then this could easily be my preferred MDM in my consulting work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ever since Google Business hit the scene, there have been many open questions about what to do for user directory services in lieu of Active Directory. JumpCloud is that answer. Many small to medium size businesses buy mix-and-match models of desktops and laptops, then expect their IT support to make it all work together. JumpCloud doesn't just make that possible - it makes the process easy.
Great

Noting as such. All at jump cloud is good, just need to have updates in some services
