A powerfull and intuitive Management Access Tool

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that is a one-stop escalable solution for all AAA management that's easy to use and implement. We use JumpCloud to authenticate with common apps such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Chrome.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud doesn't support MFA with LDAP and MacOS JumpCloud agent frequently de-syncs when there is a change on the network. They should improve the account importing system to become more secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With JumpCloud we provided automation on our company by allowing the users to automatically have access to any software they need instead of manual login into the applications. This has improved the overall performance of productivity in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a great product to use, it may take some time to get used to all its features.

Easy Computer Management

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily assign users to computers, encrypt computers and enable MFA protocols. It is a great way to keep track of our devices. We also utilize the auto-update feature which has taken all the stress out of maintaining everyone's devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything to dislike so far. It has been a great product for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really needed a service that would allow easy management of computers and be easy for non-IT trained admins to work with. This has worked great for us. With the ease of assigning computers to employees and the auto-update feature, everyone has had a much more seamless user experience than before JumpCloud.

A great solution for EVERYONE!

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everyone should be using this! Home users too! You can have 10 FREE devices/users! JumpCloud is a tool I've been using at work and separately for my home since 2017. Even if you aren't using it for mobile device management (MDM). Even if you aren't using it as a user directory, and single sign-on solution. Use it to send remote commands, install apps, run updates, and remotely resolve issues. Use it to gather inventory. There are a ton of easy to use well-designed features, and there's definitely something for everyone. And, they frequently add new features or improve upon existing ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not enamored of the MDM solution. It's the one feature that feels tacked-on or an after-thought. It works, it just could be that little bit more. Honestly, there isn't anything I truly dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO. The benefit of having one account to sign into (two really; Google, JumpCloud) is necessary for a work from home cloud-first company.
Remote commands, without the need to enable VNC/Remote Desktop. Sending one-time commands to a device, and getting the results without ever needing to be at that device or see a screen/terminal.

Domain Integration is great

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to integrate apps and all credentialing in our system. The user portal makes everything extremely easy for the employees to use. The management interface is simple to use for daily uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apps are not simple to integrate with, integration into UNMS/UISP, and UNIFI is key to our network and currently are not in the system. SAML is so complicated I do not use it at all and MDM should include Android and Windows devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized AD and authentication management. Having the ability for remote workers to authenticate to devices is the best thing ever. Less windows on prem services is the goal of our org.

Powerful tools for a distributed workforce

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage settings for multiple different operating systems (primarily Mac and Windows) for a workforce distributed across multiple time zones and even multiple countries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of features when designing the best level to purchase. Takes some thought and planning, but that's not all bad, either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and thorough provisioning of new devices. Pushing out software enterprise wide is also very simple. Changing security settings across different operating systems and tracking compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The solution to controlling your distributed workforce.

Essential security tool for access control of company employees

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Restricted passwords,
user blocking,
access control
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is a little high per user, which makes it difficult as the company increases its number of employees
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Undoubtedly, access control and enabling secure passwords is jumpcloud's biggest differentiator.

Best for medium sized business

  • March 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Jump cloud is its ease of use and capabilities to deploy on a wide scale remotely. I was able to instruct my users on how to install jump cloud by downloading the client install in the user portal which makes it easy for me as an admin to bind their account to their device.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like jump cloud to have is a more in-depth reporting experience. I sometimes have issues with the jump cloud reports not being correct. An example of this is having a report in the dashboard that tells me which devices are not encrypted but in the device menu, I see that the device in fact is encrypted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit of Jump cloud is being able to synchronize with G-Suite which simplifies the account creation and being able to keep track of the device users are using without having to have a separate software or manual list.
