Excellent product, makes all IT guys lives easier.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy the platform is to use, its many many features. As well as the usefulness that our whole team gets out of the product. It makes creating accounts and access to groups so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is not a whole lot that I do not like, the support is top-notch when any issues do arise. One concern I do have is that if you import a large number of users even one time you run the risk of being bumped up to a higher plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it primarily for access control to devices, account creation and management. It allows the team to focus on more important issues rather than create lots of accounts by hand.
Very handful, powerful and easy cloud directory solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy user management, possibility to add scripts and policies to control user's computers. Single sign-on solution. The log of when a user has logged in and which computer are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great if we can have in this service the ability to control mac configurations, and be able to configure the system settings. This is only possible with third party services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of a centralized solution to manage users. Besides that, we are solving the issue to manage computers and their basic configuration, like administrator access and user access to each computer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For sure JumpCloud is an amazing solution for Cloud Directory. Give it a try!
Best app for policy control
What do you like best about the product?
It is the solution that our company requiresWriting a review for a platform as broad as JumpCloud can be tricky because it does so much. To help you write an authentic and high-impact answer for "What do you like best?", I've categorized the top-rated features and benefits based on current user feedback from 2026.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface loaThe JumpCloud Agent can occasionally be finicky. I've run into 'red' status devices where the agent stops checking in for no apparent reason, requiring a manual reinstall to fix. Additionally, the Admin Console can feel a bit sluggish or 'click-heavy' when you're trying to manage large groups of users or granular policy overridesds slowly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strong inventory control, smooth integration with Azure, and effective policy management.
Swiss army knife for authentication and fleet management.
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud does it all. From MDM, Mobile Devuce, Mac, Windows, Linux client management, software /app management, patch management to RADIUS, LDAP and SSO auth management. You won't find a more comprehensive and easy to use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MDM features need to be evolved more to support some of Apple's deeper commands such a remote management/ screen sharing. Also, the command running interface needs a bit of an overhaul.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our largest problem is unifying authentication for all of our different machines, SaaS and other needs. Jumpcloud makes this easy. The other big problem is endpoint management/ software installation, etc. Many of the remote login companies solve this problem, but none of them have the unification of Jumpcloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, not a lot to lose as it can run in parallel with existing auth until you are ready to transition.
Great product for initial IAM for pre-enterprise clients
What do you like best about the product?
Allows for rapid, initial user management for servers via its included agent or LDAP capability. The new user interface has an excellent experience. Remote command execution is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is excellent for early-stage businesses that don't yet have enterprise SSO systems in place. With that being said, it loses value once more complicated security tools need to be implemented, thus making it somewhat obsolete. This only matters once you reach an enterprise stage, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User IAM for a data center cluster. Remote command execution helps do ad-hoc management across arbitrary sets of machines. UID/GID consistency across the cluster prevents permission conflicts across NFS.
Easy to manage user access and device management permissions
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use from Admin portal and also user portal. You manage the list of the users and devices easily. Complete centralized platform to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have the ability to all the permissions and configurations on the Linux servers. But that wouldn't stop using this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Granting access to users on the centralized platform.
I don't have to grant permissions to devices separately.
I don't have to grant permissions to devices separately.
Excellent product for companies going remote
What do you like best about the product?
Features are equivalent or better than current active directory and easily manageable for multiple tenants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with apple products could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing multiple clients to go fully remote without losing security/manageability.
Practical 1 button login system
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to centralize all logins without requiring password management
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to uninstall of a machine that no longer is going to be used for work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for security
Best IdP
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is easy to manage, I recommend it to every customer when I'm asked about an IdP they should leverage for SSO. Plus I love the T shirt y'all sent me before super comfy. I wear it when I do my presentations on how to configure SSO :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much that I don't like from Jumpcloud. I wish you guys had an easier way for account switching, but other than that I don't have any problems with the platform. It's by far the most consistent and easiest to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jumpcloud for SSO testing, I also use it when I demo our product and how to set up SSO with Bitwarden. We don't use the full-feature set, but I can absolutely see myself leveraging the platform more as the need arises.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jump on board!
Wonderful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Automatically centralizes password management
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly my only dislike is that I didn't find this tool sooner!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New federal mandates require strong password selection, enforcement, and management. JumpClopud allows me to do all of these things with a single tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is well worth the small time it takes to learn it
