I consider required the enhancement of some user experience things in order to help the users to understand the usage and features. Is optional the provisioning of new users and offboarding process with a kind of optimizations.

We use Jumpcloud as our main MDM and identity platform, it helps to maintain the users working without require more than a unique password and preventing additional steps to work in their daily basis.

It's a real good and practical solution to Startups...
Serverless Active Directory Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly it doesn't need a physical or cloud server running by us. It is completely working on Jumpcloud's cloud server, and we are not required to manage them. It works the same as Microsoft Active Directory, and user management is simple and easy to use. It supports many SSO and SCIM features if you need SSO solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes admin panel is not responding but not very long time and working a little bit slow. The prices are high, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our environment uses Jumpcloud as active directory and user management. Also, we are using it as Single Sign-On solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an active directory solution without server management, you should use it without hesitation.
AD in the cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
Agents install with ease, they phone home and your set up is pretty much complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of robust MDM support has led to the need to stand up another MDM provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AD install without needing someone with years of AD experience is a big plus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team is small, this is a great product to get enterprise level AD without having to set one up yourself.
Excellent system for cloud-based directory management
What do you like best about the product?
We are incredibly happy with the ease of use in adding new users and deploying new systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We currently are not missing any key features. The only downside as of now is that home directories cannot be set in a custom manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have dramatically reduced the complexity of our user management at the same time that we have increased our ability to manage and audit our user roles/permissions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have any doubts, try out the free version and see how easy it is to use.

Jumpcloud for K-12 School
What do you like best about the product?
As a K-12 International school, the most important features are the User Management interface and the ability to create unique usernames for our teachers and staff's computer, Google, Office 365, and Adobe.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Commands tool (running custom script on our staff's computers) is helpful, it could use some upgrades in terms of ease of use, such as different filters for looking for and selecting users or devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User management with Jumpcloud (giving our teachers access to a computer with their account, creating their school Gmail accounts, assigning them a license in Office 365 and Adobe) has made our ICT onboarding procedures more straightforward. We only need to create and manage one account, their Jumpcloud account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking into Jumpcloud for user and access management, try to establish what account creation and management can be automated with Jumpcloud.
Simple, quick to setup and works with so many platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The fact it's cloud-hosted, which means that we no longer have to have expensive dedicated hardware onsite. It also means administation and maintenance has reduced as we no logner have to deal with backups or system maintenace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that fact that when a user account is imported the user instantly has to change their password. All of our users are imported via CSV from a seperate database so to import users and set the password we want them you use we have to use Powershell which means importing the users and then updating the password via Powershell, this is cumbersome.
I also do not like the fact that we cannot stop users from changing their own passwords, in education this is important as we may need to access a students account if we have concerns about their well being and we want to be able to do this without them knowing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Apple's deprecation of open directory, we were looking for a replacement solution that didn't involve Active Directory. We also needed a solution that supported RADIUS and LDAP as well as manages our Google Workspace and M365 accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it first, there is a free 10 user plan, give this a go and see if it works with your infrastructure.
