Love Jumpcloud
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can send terminal commands to multiple devices at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
How Jumpcloud lacks policies for Linux. How Jumpcloud doesn't have any integration with Ansible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing devices are different operating system.

Jumpcloud makes managing servers easy.
It’s done before you even get started
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you don’t have to setup your own infrastructure to get started with LDAP. It’s affordable, I am using the free tier at the moment and it was a delight and relief to get started with.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, nothing! I am planning to integrate it into my projects and then I’ll be able to tell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason to landed me JumpCloud was centralized access management. This means I am now able to give my team access to systems without having to creat new users.

If time is a valuable resource to you, and it always is then use JumpCloud

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to authenticate from anywhere at low cost
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough features. Needs more computer management.

Certificate changes.
Great software as a service
What do you like best about the product?
Love that it is a directory as a service....we found nothing else like it on the market. Easy to learn. I like that the password rule sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sign on is abit confusing with admin and regular portal. Otherwise you guys are doing a great job. I'm not the main user, I initially set up the account and we have another team member managing with. He has no complaints. I think the only thing I wish it has was use for all the things our dev team needs. We use it for our virtual private servers but would like it for other applications like TFS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to onboard new developers and manage them from the dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the modern approach to directories. It is worth a look.

Integrates Google with physical desktop login to provide a simple single username and password experience

Was a little slim in documentation and support initially.

Single login details across google windows mac and Linux devices. Password management and aenabkea BYOD policy.

Easy to use, works, robust and secure

SSO & MFA, Ease of use via browser. Support access.

having to re-connect to Azure AD (O365) on a regular basis.

SSO & Radius integration with O365 in the cloud.
Jumpcloud is an amazing product!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to control users and machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a difficult time connecting the radius server functionality to my customers network. I have just recently started looking at taking my clients to that next level though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very fast inexpensive active directory and machine control.
Solves the last step in "moving to the cloud."
What do you like best about the product?
Users have trouble safely keeping track of all the passwords they need regularly, having the ability to synchronize the most important ones under one authority is phenomenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wish we had the ability to control local machine user groups using JumpCloud and the ability to grant permissions to a file-share but disallow direct login to the machine. This would greatly improve workflow for file sharing in SMBs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Who can log in where and have access to what. New employee needs to access two workstations? Click, click. Done!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a good look at what JumpCloud can do for your organization. With so many services moved to the cloud, sometimes AD is only around for directory and authority. It makes perfect sense to move that to the cloud too!
The Best Lightweight Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Cheap, easy, and surprisingly powerful. When you don't need all the bells and whistles (or extra costs) this is the only good solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as feature rich as it could be, which completely makes sense for the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud makes it almost brain-dead easy to administer passwords and simple policies in a small business environment.

We haven’t discovered any cons to using jumpcloud
