Centralized Identity Management with Easy Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud to manage identity, access SSO, and devices, which solves the password mess where employees have too many passwords on different platforms by creating one identity with secure credentials. I really like JumpCloud Go and Conditional Access because they provide high security without making life difficult for users. They replace frustrating passwords with secure biometric logins like Touch ID. This automation of security by granting access only when using a verified company device keeps our data safe without slowing down our employees. The initial setup was straightforward since it's cloud-based and integrates easily with Google or Microsoft, although configuring device management policies requires a bit of a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the policy granularity a bit 'all or nothing.' It's difficult to apply a specific restriction to just one user on a machine without it affecting the local admin account as well. Configuring the device management policies for the first time requires a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud consolidates employee passwords into one secure identity, solving password clutter. The JumpCloud Go and Conditional Access features enhance security by using biometrics and automate secure access based on verified devices, keeping data safe without hindering user convenience.

A unified platform for IAM activities

What do you like best about the product?
We are using this solution mostly because of the SSO feature and other security features that came with it. We use the mobile device management feature alongside SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not been able to understand how the Cloud RADIUS works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to integrate our applications and our users could sign in directly using their email accounts. We don't need to get another directory service to integrate this feature as Jumpcloud comes with a directory service.

What do you like best about the product?
It does Single Sign On. The UI is pretty clean. The user experience is pretty seemless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things break easily mainly when you use JumpCloud for everything. If you are not careful making changes things can spiral but that is will all SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use JumpCloud for SSO into the computer and multiple apps.

Jumpcloud function and review

What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud because I can access it anywhere. It's great that re-binding resolves the login issue, and the fact that beyond basic user to device binding, JumpCloud has several features that IT teams typically find enjoyable because they reduce the manual grunt work of system administration. In JumpCloud, the binding is handled by a lightweight agent, and re-binding in the console re-syncs the cloud identity with the local account, which is really useful. I also find password reset, binding the user to desktop, and applying the policy to the desktop to be valuable features.
What do you dislike about the product?
From the activity logs, the old version of JumpCloud is easier for the activity logs. But after the latest update, it's hard to find the activity logs. We need to click more buttons before we can see the activity logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for resetting passwords, binding users, and applying policies. It's a cloud-based directory that I can access anywhere, simplifying issue resolution and reducing manual system admin tasks with features like re-binding and identity syncing.

What I Like Best About JumpCloud

  • October 29, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about JumpCloud is that you have easy access to various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and having access for all devices.

It combines directory services, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA) and device management into one unified platform to drive simplified IAM.

Its simple policy management and commands menu allows you to create policies and execute commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything appears to be in order at this point. However, if possible, please supplement it with some user-based policy as well. For the time being, device policy seems satisfactory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kudos to Sidhanth Barik, Senior Customer Success Manager, for assisting me with the RADIUS integration to our Fortinet Firewall.

This integration enhances our network security by enabling centralized authentication, making access management more efficient and secure.
