Low-Code Ease, But Needs Better Version Control

What do you like best about the product?
I like Tealium Customer Data Hub for its low-code environment, which reduces overhead by not requiring everything to be coded in JavaScript, and the ease with which I can publish and deploy changes. It's nice that it operates separately from the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the version control and GitHub integration lacking, especially since we have no public repo available. It's also difficult to navigate the version history in TIQ. Additionally, the migration was tough at first because we didn't understand the low-code environment and vendor templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tealium Customer Data Hub for tagging in marketing and analytics. It's a tag management system with a low-code environment, making it easy to publish and deploy without coding overhead.

Tealium Empowers Marketers to Self-Serve with Fast, Easy Testing

What do you like best about the product?
Tealium enables the marketing team to self-serve without relying on IT, thanks to its point-and-click interface. This is especially efficient for POCs, with faster turnaround times and an easier way to test ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mapping out all data sources and building a data foundation that can be trusted is a huge project and can take months rather than weeks. So if you’re looking for a quick win, you may often feel frustrated and see less value than you expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
True real-time actionability. If a customer abandons a shopping cart, Tealium can trigger a personalized email or notification within milliseconds, while the consumer is still online. It’s not like some other vendors that rely on batch processing and only refresh a few times a day, which isn’t truly real time.

What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of potential on how you can use your data within tealium and the future releases discussed in the conference are very exciting. Lots of great ideas proposed that have a huge potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a deep technical curve when you are initially trying to understand the platform but once you get through it, its smooth sailing. I would say having the right support in the initial stages would be a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cdp is helping us unifying our consumer data from several different data sources and is giving us a full picture of our consumer and customers through visitor
Profiles which would help with segmentation and audience activation

Robust Data Centralization, Intuitive Connections

What do you like best about the product?
I actually like that Tealium Customer Data Hub is robust. There are a lot of connectors, making it very friendly with other providers and vendors we've used in our company. We're able to connect pretty easily, and I find it intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the overall ease of use for a novice user, especially with change management among our paid media folks, can be a little hard to understand. It could be a little more user-friendly on the front end. The initial setup was a challenge, taking about a three-month process from contract sign to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tealium Customer Data Hub solves redundancies in our applications by centralizing data from various channels, reducing duplicated touchpoints.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s been an incredible tool that has enabled us automate and orchestrate our sales and media engagements to reach Omnichannel goals. Once implemented -the use cases are endless
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes collaborative teams and experts to set up the instance - it’s unfortunate this response requires so many characters because we have had a great experience with Tealium
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the first time we have all our customer profiles as a single source of truth - we are also able to set business rules to orchestrate next best action

Developer-Free Tag Setup and Great Onboarding Resources

What do you like best about the product?
The marketplace helps marketing professionals set up events, tags, and other functions in the tool without needing developers. Tealium University is also available to educate and onboard new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
An end-to-end “wizard” configuration tool would be helpful to guide new users through creating new tags, including setting up events, criteria, vendors, and related details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a financial institution, we’re required to follow compliance rules and regulations, which means our website needs consent management for all visitors. The Tealium consent manager meets that need and also collects analytics for visitors who agree to cookies.

What do you like best about the product?
Much easier to use, with more expansive features than other tag management solutions; Built in features that help simplify the e2e tag deployment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a streaming organization, we require support on more platforms than Tealium currents supports (for eg. CTV Platforms; Roku, FireTV, Apple TV etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier and faster tag deployment, built in GitHub support. We are an Omni-channel company that needs to standardize our solutions but allow for platform-specific nuances.

Packed with Capabilities and Getting More User-Friendly with Upcoming AI

What do you like best about the product?
I believe it provides a lot of capabilities and is becoming more user friendly with all of the AI innovations that are upcoming. I believe if you are using this for web, you will be very happy with the product. It is pretty user friendly, but with the use of AI coming, it will only get better from here.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think that there are areas where it is not the most helpful or not as innovative. For instance when it comes to mobile apps. Maybe it will be more beneficial with the AI feature that are coming. But there are better platforms/more cost effective platforms that are better. Even building on in house could be more useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This will provide most benefit when it comes to easier deployment of the tag manager. It seems like it will be easier to deploy these tags, along with write them with the new use of AI. Right now our company does not have CDP through Tealium.

What do you like best about the product?
Streamline our data input source and keep it consistent for different consumers. Collect the data once in various platforms (web, mobile, app) and stream to different endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not very business person friendly. The engineering team and I have to get involved in every request. This sometimes causes a friction in timelines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer data is fragmented across different sources. Tealium solves this by collecting data from all touch points. In the future we plan to action this data in real time user personalization.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to seamlessly create attributes that we can use downstream in our data warehouse (Databricks) for further transformations and analysis. The UI is also really intuitive and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost was hard to get buy in for and the learning curve is high for non-technical people. The documentation could be improved - I found myself asking AI questions a lot that couldn't be answered by Tealium's own documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tag management - triggering events and enriching with attributes that we send downstream to our central data warehouse for querying and analytics. Consent management - we integrate our consent platform with Tealium for deploying on the website and ability to turn on and off which events we want to fire based on consent.
