Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really do like the interface of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. It makes it very easy to create the visuals that I need, and it's much simpler than other tools I've used. I love that it's good for collaboration, allowing multiple people to edit a document in real time and making it easy to tag someone for updates. It's also great that I can share documents with others easily. Plus, I appreciate that it's integrated with other tools I use, like Jira, Confluence, and Slack. The initial setup was simple, with helpful tutorials to understand how to get started, and it's very easy to learn and pick up, even for non-technical people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the free plan is a bit limited when it comes to export options, so I'm a little bit disappointed about that. There are also limits on what you can do. Sometimes it can be hard to find certain shapes or tools because there is such a big variety.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes it very easy to create visuals and map out workflows. It also simplifies collaboration by allowing multiple people to edit documents in real time and tag others for updates. As someone who uses LucidChart often in my workplace, I appreciate that there are community forums where I can read peer discussions, pick up tips, and access shared templates from other users. The support responses are generally helpful when the problem isn’t time‑sensitive.
Intuitive Visual Collaboration Suite with Powerful Templates and Shape Libraries
What do you like best about the product?
I like Lucid’s Visual Collaboration Suite because it combines ease of use with a very rich set of features and components, so it works well for both quick ad‑hoc diagrams and more complex team workflows.
From a usability perspective, the interface is very intuitive: drag‑and‑drop editing, smart alignment and snapping, auto‑layout options, and simple connectors make it easy to get a clean diagram even if you’re not a designer. The learning curve is low, most people can be productive within minutes, which is important when you’re collaborating with non‑technical stakeholders.
The breadth and depth of built‑in components is a major plus. There are extensive shape libraries for flowcharts, org charts, mind maps, architecture diagrams, wireframes, whiteboarding sessions, and more. Templates for common use cases (process mapping, user journeys, system designs, retros, PI planning, etc.) mean you rarely start from a blank canvas. This saves time and also promotes consistency across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
One specific usability issue I dislike is how Lucid embeds behave inside Confluence pages. When a Lucid chart diagram is embedded, normal page scrolling with the mouse wheel often ends up zooming in and out of the Lucid diagram instead of just scrolling the Confluence page. This feels quite jarring in day‑to‑day use: you’re trying to read the document and move down the page, but suddenly you’re stuck zoomed into a tiny part of the diagram or zoomed all the way out.
It’s especially frustrating for viewers who only want to quickly glance at a diagram in context, rather than actively edit it. You have to be very careful where your cursor is when scrolling or keep clicking outside the diagram to “escape” it. For long Confluence pages with several embedded Lucid diagrams, this behavior quickly becomes disruptive and breaks the reading flow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is mainly solving communication and alignment problems around complex systems and processes, and that’s where it helps a lot with application and trade flow diagrams.
For application and trade flows, it gives us a single, shared visual language that both technical and non‑technical stakeholders can understand. Instead of long email threads or dense documents, we can show how data, orders, and events move across systems in a clear end‑to‑end diagram. This reduces misunderstandings, speeds up reviews, and makes it easier to spot missing steps, failure points, or ambiguous ownership.

Intuitive Visuals, Powerful Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how effortlessly Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite turns scattered ideas into clear, structured visuals that everyone instantly understands. The interface strikes an excellent balance between simplicity and power, making it intuitive to sketch out ideas quickly, yet flexible enough to build detailed workflows, architecture diagrams, or strategy maps without fighting the tool. I also really appreciate how well it integrates with other tools; being able to embed diagrams in docs, export clean visuals for presentations, or link work back into project management systems significantly streamlines our workflow. It's a very easy-to-use platform, and the components it provides are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once diagrams become very complex, the canvas feels cluttered and harder to navigate. Performance with very large documents, especially when multiple collaborators are editing, can deteriorate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to transform complex ideas into visual plans that are easy for my team to comprehend and act on. It eliminates ambiguity, turning abstract thoughts into a clear, shared understanding. It's easy to use with great components.
Effortless Flowchart Creation with User-Friendly Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to make flowcharts and visual maps with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. The pre-built templates are great too. The initial setup was very easy, which I really appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used it only for making flowcharts, so if there are other things I can do with it, I don't know about it. It would be nice to have a quick tour of it. At the onboarding level, add a quick tour of the product - its features, if there isn't any already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to build flowcharts, making processes crystal clear for everyone on the team.
Useful Visual Planning Tool That's Held Back By Poor AI Performance
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of use of the software. I find it easy to create flowcharts to describe workflows and the structure of something. I've used it for IT help desk and web development. Lucid proved to be equally useful for both cases.
As a result, I was able to map out a typical interaction in help desk to work with end-users and support them with what they need. For web development, I was able to map out the structure of the website. It's a useful tool for referencing what webpages to work on.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've found the AI to be unhelpful. It's nice that it's available to answer questions about the platform, but showing images to do something would be appreciated for visual learners and those with language barriers.
I appreciate it can also generate premade diagrams that I can adjust to my liking, but the platform would say I ran out of shapes while generating, and I would have to upgrade from the free plan. To me, it defeats the purpose of using AI.
The speed is also relatively slow compared to other AI I've used, such as ChatGPT and Gemini. This has wasted time that could have been used towards productivity.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving my ability to plan before implementing projects. It really is a useful tool for planning with a project in mind.
I've been able to stick with the plans and complete the projects to my standards. This is critical to helping me become a better web developer.

Simplifies Architectural Collaboration Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
I like most of what Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite offers, especially its official collaboration features. Lucid Chat stands out for being very nice and effective. It helps in realizing architecture patterns and designs comprehensively. The suite supports clear communication during customer interactions, particularly with video conferencing and visualization parts. This assists in presenting architectural diagrams in an easy-to-understand and illustrative way. I also find the initial setup to be straightforward and very easy, with no issues getting started. Overall, it's awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think so we have, but a few things that will help us is let's say, it's related to AWS or, any cloud services related services images or icons or SVGs. If it has, it will help us to put architecture around it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to solve collaboration issues. It enhances cross-team collaboration and gives everyone a clear vision of our projects. This makes understanding architecture and project insights easier, benefiting both leadership and product management teams.
Powerful Visual Collaboration for Modern Teams
What do you like best about the product?
The best part for me is the real-time collaboration. Multiple team members can edit, comment, and iterate together without confusion or version conflicts. It really streamlines feedback and keeps everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is powerful and intuitive, there are a few areas that could be improved. The free plan is quite limited, especially for teams that need frequent access. Some advanced features feel better suited to power users, which can make onboarding slower for new or non-technical team members. Additionally, very large or complex diagrams can sometimes feel laggy.

Streamlines Visualization with Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like building diagrams with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to help visualize different components and systems in my company. I can compartmentalize each pillar of my company, between HR and Finance and Supply Chain and Cybersecurity, for example. Then within each group, there are vendors serving different purposes like active directory and demographic information.
I appreciate being able to create org charts, which makes it easier to understand the relationships inside my company. I also like being able to adjust the size and alignment of items, along with the alignment lines and markers that snap items into position. The initial setup of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like needing to switch between Lucidchart and Lucidspark to be able to pan around each project. Being able to pan is especially important when the diagram is very large and text is small, so it is very important to be able to navigate it quickly, especially when on call and I need to point out different points in different areas quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to build diagrams and create org charts, which makes it easier to visualize components and understand relationships in my company. The Collaboration Suite is creating clarity in the structure between organization subunits. It allows my leaders to better understand the inner relationships. It allows me to take ownership of the layout of these org units.
Enhances Diagrams, Needs More Interactivity
What do you like best about the product?
The diagramming tools in the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite have been very useful for illustrating advanced concepts to coworkers and for interfacing with code. I use the Mermaid diagram features the most, which makes visualizing concepts easy and clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could edit or visualize things more interactively in the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Right now, it's just kind of you either have a code or not. Plus, it would be nice if the suite could embed better in Confluence.
