Visualizing Construction 🚧 🔨👷♂️🗜️🪛 Project Budgets Made Like Water 💦 for 24/7 by LVCS
What do you like best about the product?
It is seamless to map budget and track cash flow in my construction company with the help of LVCS which facilitates diagramming + charting tools, mainly via Lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the Lucid Suite hasn’t fully encompassed all features, ai am grateful the vendor embedded L.Spark which solved visual collaboration issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on forecasts with teams and stakeholders in my construction organization.
Effortless Project Planning & Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for project planning and roadmap visualization. It helps align the team on project timelines and the order in which tasks need to be completed. I like that it's easy to use and brings everything to life through visualization. Ideation and thinking through problems work well since I can create a wall of sticky notes with free flowing thoughts. The initial setup was easy to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to grab the screen to move around instead of having to zoom in and out. A feature like being able to hold down the ctrl key and left click on the mouse to drag the screen around would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for project planning and roadmap visualization. It helps align the team on project timelines and task priorities.
Great Features for Visual Learners, Navigational Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for school assignments and studying. As a visual learner, it really helps me learn and retain information better. I like that it has many features and different types of styles for everyone to use. I also like the chat feature. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it a little bit hard to navigate and it took me some time to get used to moving boxes and texts etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a visual learner, so it helps me learn and keep information better.
Lucidchart’s User-Friendly Interface Makes Flowcharts Easy
What do you like best about the product?
What I found especially useful about Lucid Chart is its very user-friendly interface, which made it easier for me to understand the basics of creating a flowchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t found any areas for improvement in Lucid. That said, I expect that as I continue using it, I may come across a few things that could be improved down the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps the company I collaborate with build a better understanding of different processes and SOBP’s.
Highly Customizable, Ideal for Network Design
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to be more granular and customize the design in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Unlike Microsoft Visio, Lucid lets me change practically every detail, and I can even select different icons for firewalls, routers, switches, and other network components. The initial setup was very easy, and I like that it can create a template design for you if you choose it. Overall, it's great software for network design and planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the text overlaps with icons and isn't easy to fix since you have to add a text box separately rather than using the icon/image's built-in text box. Also, I haven't been able to get a rack-mount view for what the actual physical view would appear in 3D. Even if it was 2D but showed the face of the switch with all the ports, that would be amazing. I feel like that would need to be categorized as a different software suite since it's more specific to IT / networking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for creating detailed diagrams of network infrastructure, which aids in documentation necessary for IT work—especially for complex networks. It allows granular customization, with options to modify details and choose different icons for components like firewalls and routers.
Perfect for Non-profit Idea and Social Media Content Visualization 👨💻
What do you like best about the product?
Mapping out social media content and timelines allows me to plan content calendars 📅 perfectly via Lucid diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that the mobile iOS apps are two separately, should be one with two branches - My Views Anyways!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design workflows - Enhances content approvals and publishing.
A game changer
What do you like best about the product?
As a researcher, I’ve found that Lucid is where my messy qualitative data finally starts to make sense. It’s been a game-changer for moving from "stacks of notes" to clear, visual service blueprints that stakeholders actually enjoy reading. I use the infinite canvas to bridge the gap between deep-dive ethnographic observations and high-level design thinking, nesting granular user insights directly into broader ecosystem maps.
The real-time collaboration features are what save me during workshops; instead of just presenting a static deck, I can lead live "How Might We" sessions that turn abstract ideas into a shared visual narrative. It has fundamentally changed how I communicate complex systems to leadership, making the research feel less like a report and more like a living roadmap. It’s honestly the most reliable way I've found to keep cross-functional teams aligned on the same user story.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I’m a power user, the biggest hurdle is the friction between the different "modes" of the suite; jumping between the fluid, messy brainstorming of Lucidspark and the rigid structure of Lucidchart can break my creative flow when I’m trying to turn raw interview notes into a formal service map. I’ve also noticed that once a board gets populated with hundreds of sticky notes and high-res images from ethnographic sessions, the performance starts to lag, which is a bit stressful during a high-stakes live workshop. The "smart" formatting tools are helpful for speed, but they can be surprisingly stubborn when I need to customize a specific layout for a unique user journey. I’d love to see a more seamless bridge between the two products and a bit more "snappiness" when handling massive, data-heavy canvases so the tool can truly keep up with the pace of a fast-moving research synthesis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is a lifesaver because it finally replaces the manual slog of trying to force static documents to handle complex research data. I used to spend hours just drawing boxes and formatting layouts, but now I can jump straight into synthesis using their excellent library of templates. It effectively solves the problem of fragmented notes by giving me one infinite space to map out every stage of a user journey. This has been a huge benefit for my workshops because I can lead live sessions that turn abstract ideas into a shared visual narrative. It has completely changed how I communicate with leadership by making my findings feel like a living roadmap instead of just another presentation deck.
