Perfect for collaboration in a remote environment
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the tools is one of the best among the platforms my team tried, which includes Mural and Miro. I also love the wide variety of templates, and there's one for pretty much anything you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The separation of Lucidchart and Lucidspark was a bit confusing for my coworkers and my IT team, who was provisioning licenses. It would be great if they were more integrated as one product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a typical in-office team that had to go remote during the pandemic, we needed a tool to help us brainstorm and create workflows. We've found Lucidspark easy to use and perfect for helping us stay connected during large projects.
Amazing for collaboration sessions
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's easy to use and many people can collaborate together.
What do you dislike about the product?
There haven't been any downsides I've seen so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Innovation ideas and mapping out application flows. Having the ability to share across the team has been very beneficial.
This is my go-to for meeting facilitation.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucidspark every day to visually represent ideas, facilitate brain storming, enable business process analysis, create user flows and basic wireframes. LucidSpark and LucidCharts are so indispensable, one of my clients purchased their own licenses for their team. We are geographically dispersed and may never return to the "office" again. Without Lucidspark, it would be a lot more difficult to ensure all (conference call) participants have a shared understanding of the problems, the approach, the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything. however, I would love to have the "mind mapping" functionality available in Miro replicated in LucidSpark. Miro has a super easy mind map template, including using the tab key to decompose the subject further. which is handy. However, I have moved almost all my clients to Lucidspark. I don't miss that part of mind mapping in Miro to use it instead of Lucidspark

This is really the place where i collaborate with my clients on a daily basis. Prior to covid, many clients wanted you to be "in the room with them". We would work together with sticky notes, whiteboards and other tools of classic facilitation. Once the covid restrictions settled, we needed other ways to facilitate user story mapping, "big room planning", process elaboration. i don't think we will ever return to "the old way". Instead of using the classic in-person facilitation on a periodic basis, we use Lucidspark every day in our conversations. I just start the call, pop open a board (either blank or one I have already started), and we begin to work together. Clients have even commented about the ease of use. Some of the executives were a little apprehensive about using this type of technology but they have embraced the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I cannot imagine my consultation tasks without Lucidspark now that we are all "work from home". Completely indispensible.
Great tool for engaging and collaborating!
What do you like best about the product?
Since everything has gone remote and web conference, getting clients to engage with you can often be challenging. When we start whiteboarding a process with Lucid Charts, customers are captivated and solving a problem with you and actively collaborating.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are pushing the product to the max but would love more presenting features. I get it, that it's not a presentation platform, but, would be nice to have to switch during a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems we are solving. Helping clients visualize a workflow solution. We have really engaged clients that see that we are not selling them an answer but solving a business challenge. Our clients often ask us for Lucid charts that we create because it articulates their problem better than there own documentation.
Very Helpful for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clarity it brings to our team when discussing features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has served my team well, and I can't think of anything that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to discuss and plan for features. We put a lot of cards on the board and use arrows and boxes to help show links between features. Being able to add images also helps us to visualize the scope of work we're doing. When questions come up, we go back to the board, which usually helps us in conversation.
Best App for Flowcharts
What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to create easily shareable flowchart documentation for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest. Lucidspark makes it super simple for us to work through anything from flowcharts to floorplans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and embedding flowcharts into our document management software has been a huge improvement. We used to create static documents with static flowcharts and would have to deal with stale documentation. Now that we are using Lucidspark our documentation is live and gets updated as we work through things.
Easy to use and well integrated across platforms
What do you like best about the product?
It's a strong collaborative tool, super intuitive and well integrated accross platforms and hardwares
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the mobile app could be upgraded to more "sofisticated" activities other than mapping. It's still a great tool but when it come to more complex activities, the ipad version falls short.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business Process Mapping, Design Thinking and Value Stream Maps.
It allows for fast, interactive and visual communicaton in projects and activities with customers

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test the tool first, ask your teams to collaborate and make an informed decision.
Great for JAD sessions
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility for reorganizing as ideas flow. Since we work in multi-disciplinary teams, the ability to associate activities with different projects and roles on the fly helps generate discussions
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not used it extensively so have not run into deficiencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on cross-discipline workflows. It's helpful for the entire team to see flows developed and refined in real-time.
Lucidspark is a great tool that allows novices to quickly create very refined artifacts.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to grab shapes / pictures from anywhere and incorporate them seamlessly into my wireframe documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any difficulties with the way I utilize this application, therefore I can honestly say that I do not have any dislikes (at the moment😉).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary utilization would be based on creating illustrations of UI screens for various web based projects, to guide conversations with development and stakeholders. Lucidspark allows for a great deal of pre-development collaboration that generally saves a substantial amount of money for our clients before we begin any coding.
Nice tool that helps our team collaborate while we are remote
What do you like best about the product?
We've really learned how much we take the humble whiteboard for granted these days. Being able to collaborate as a team in real time to brainstorm and plan is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web interface outside of the board tool (navigating saved files, etc) can be a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use the tool to quickly collaborate and to brainstorm. We use it to design software and systems architecture as well as for our team retros.
