The Fastest in Creating Data Flow Diagrams and Designing Easily Presentable Interrelated Processes

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drawing has been made easy with a variety of shapes and objects that come with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite which has added a great dimension in making my data more presentable and simplified process flow illustrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to be able to use the platform to its full extent you need the paid version, however it should be fairly easy for you to use as it was for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it primarily to draw network segmentation diagrams as requested by our Chief Information Security Officer to illustrate where different user LANs, routers and servers are located in our infrastructure and show where the necessary communication paths are open.

Excellent and Quick Drawing with Lucid VCS’s Robust Templates and Preset Shapes

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucid VCS achieves what it is intended to do efficiently which is to help me create diagrams quickly and easily. It comes with a huge variety of preset shapes and templates to help get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature set is more robust compared to similar platforms out there and nothing that I find problematic with Lucid VCS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me Lucid VCS is the best platform for creating network layout designs, cabling diagrams, data visualization and more. The network architecture diagrams show data flows across the network and provides a clear overview of how endpoints and firewalls interact.

Great for Academic Projects but Needs Improved Usability

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you have the ability to import images, which helps when building a data center by adding images of what the building would look like or models of firewalls. I really enjoy the AI feature as it's great to help you get used to the tool. I also appreciate that I can ask five AI questions for help before being prompted to pay. Additionally, I can easily integrate Lucid into Canvas, which is helpful for my final project in a course.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn’t as intuitive as some other tools. There is a little bit of a learning curve. I feel like I’m clicking around constantly to try to make changes instead of being able to right-click and get a drop-down menu to make changes easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map out courses and build data center designs for class, easily importing images to visualize models. The AI helps me adapt to the tool, and I like its easy integration with Canvas for projects.

A simple but powerful tool with thoughtful design

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I found it incredibly intuitive from the get-go. The background grid made it easy to align design elements in the org chart I created, and the site itself felt very snappy and responsive. I haven't looked into integrations quite yet, but I can see the options are there and that definitely makes me want to use this tool long-term. Based on the polish I've seen so far I can imagine it won't be a difficult process to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not found any negatives to the site. It feels well made, and even the follow-up emails I get from the service let me know there's a decent support system in place should I run into any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a simple problem - my team had a very outdated org chart and we needed a new one. I went looking for an easy but powerful tool to accomplish this, and I settled on Lucid. My team lead was very happy with the results, which made me look good too!

Great for Visual Diagrams, Minor Lag Issues

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite because its features are really good for working with many charts. It has diagram project flow, workflows, and software processes, and everything is very good. I also appreciate that its diagrams are easy to follow, and there are many useful things that are free.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lags. It can be improved a bit more. When I'm making a chart, I have to drag the thing all the way. If I can just tap it and, circle or any shape, it's easier that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to make charts and it's easy to follow. It helps access different challenges and work with diagrams easily. Occasionally, there's lag when using it.

The Most Valuable in Structuring Company Reporting Lines and Communication Pathways Through Diagrams

  • March 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of LVCS are the visual icons, arrows and connectors that I can drag and drop into the canvas to design my flow charts easily. I usually draw organizational charts and sequence diagrams for organization and there are so many template options available for each one of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The auto-arrange feature sometimes does not correctly align the diagram objects and I a have to adjust them to connect to where I want them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Administrative Assistant I a have created multiple company hierarchy charts with LVCS that represent the chain of command across the organization and help new hires identify points of contact efficiently.
