What do you like best about the product?
The software is user-friendly and allows me to create even complex flow charts effortlessly thanks to its intuitive drag-and-drop interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier has quite a few limitations. Offering additional features, such as allowing more documents, increasing the number of objects per document, and providing export options, would be extremely helpful for users who are unable to purchase the premium version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to share the diagrams I create in Lucid, and every teammate can easily understand the flow intuitively.

Excellent Tool That Has Already Provided A Ton Of Value In Our Investment Process.
What do you like best about the product?
Its easiness of drawing complex diagrams is great for us which makes it super easy to communicate with our stakeholders and explain high level overviews to them. We have also used Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to visualize workflow for really world activities, and also for custom software development projects. What i really appreciate most about it is the built-in icons from the public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS and GCP. Lucid is also very intuitive to use and allows me to export the diagrams as a png with a transparent background to easily embed into other documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge is that layers can be a little bit challenging to use. I don't have much that i like least about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical. It's an effective tool to manage complex business use cases where it's easy for us as vendors to communicate the artifacts to customers and at the same time with our internal team. One click export of the diagrams facilitates driving the meetings and making presentations a cakewalk.
Flexible Solution with Great Options for Building Flow Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a flexible solution with lots of options available for building. I mostly use it for flow diagrams, to represent both process and also the artchitecture of our SaaS solution suite and potential integration points.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it is well styled or easy to style. The charts you can make are pretty basic and not the most visually dynamic. Templates or style settings would be great options - and if I just haven't found these yet, they are not obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucid visual suite is allowing me to build custom diagrams which is helpful in visually representing processes or architecture flows.
you wont find any alternative to this gem
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the sheer variety of icons and templates it offers. No matter what type of chart I need to create or what industry it’s for, there’s always something that fits. The second thing worth calling out is the level of integration it provides — it hooks into pretty much everything that actually matters, and does it really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, I do wish some of the features locked behind the team/enterprise plans were available in the individual license, since a few of them would be genuinely useful for solo users like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I frequently need to create architecture diagrams for the tool deployments we roll out across customers, and Lucid helps me with that on a regular basis. The cloud infrastructure templates and the range of icons make it super easy to put together clear, accurate diagrams quickly.
Effortless Planning with Lucid's Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite because it makes designing complex layouts, like my warehouse plan, incredibly simple by transforming intricate spaces into clear, visually structured digital maps. The suite excels at converting complex ideas into clear visuals, which made explaining the warehouse design much easier. I highly recommend it for daily planning and designing tasks due to its intuitive drag-and-drop functionality. I also appreciate the easy customization options, such as color, label, and icon customization, which enhance the visual appeal and clarity of designs. The exporting and sharing features are fantastic, streamlining the process of collaboration by allowing everyone to view, understand, and provide feedback on the same professional diagrams effortlessly. These features make planning fast and effortless, enhancing overall workflow efficiency and improving team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite sometimes lags when working with large diagrams, which can be frustrating as it affects the smoothness of the workflow. Moreover, it requires a stable internet connection to function efficiently, which limits usability in areas with poor connectivity. Some advanced features feel complex and are often locked behind higher-tier plans, making quick collaboration difficult. The complexity of these advanced tools can be overwhelming, especially for new users, and would benefit from clearer guidance and simpler interfaces to improve user experience. Additionally, I think having a version that is free for students would be a great improvement.

User-Friendly and Intuitive Alternative to Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid to be more user friendly than Miro. Objects size and line up more simply. I intend to use this more often in 2026. Taylor reaching out directly to me for better account support was really impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Respectfully, I find the interface to feel old. The color pallet just feels "Early 2000's". I also find that it doesn't seem to integrate well with other platforms. As an example, when a chart is printed, like say as a PDF, its hard to copy that into an spreadsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visual process maps and org charts.

I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to be a fantastic tool for turning complex ideas into easy-to-understand visual diagrams, which significantly helps in planning and documentation. Its simplicity and real-time collaboration features really stand out for me, allowing seamless teamwork. I am particularly impressed by the wide range of templates that jumpstart projects without needing to design everything from scratch, which saves a huge amount of time. The integration capabilities with tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft applications enhance my workflow by making planning and collaboration much faster and better organized. The user-friendly interface made the initial setup incredibly easy and straightforward for my team, so we began utilizing its features without requiring extensive training. This tool is definitely an upgrade from previous solutions like Google Drawings and PowerPoint, as it provides superior real-time collaboration, readymade templates, and smoother integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite feels slow during team editing sessions. Another area for improvement is the syncing process with other tools, which can also be somewhat slow at times. Additionally, I believe offering more free templates and incorporating AI suggestions would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Flexible Templates, Smooth Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the extensive selection of templates available in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, which makes it incredibly convenient for creating architecture diagrams, especially for my Google Cloud Platform (GCP) appointments. The templates provide a preview of what architecture diagrams for GCP should look like, which is very helpful. This plug-and-play feature allows me to quickly get an idea of different architectural setups, thus simplifying the process of designing for specific use cases. Furthermore, the ease of searching for all relevant GCP icons on the templates significantly enhances my efficiency, enabling me to focus more on the quality of my presentation rather than on building it from scratch. The intuitive nature of these templates supports seamless collaborative efforts with my team, allowing us to work together on the same diagram effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scrolling functionality in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite could be improved, as it feels janky when using horizontal or vertical scrolling with my mouse. Additionally, the pricing of the software seems a bit steep for my budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to collaboratively create architecture diagrams with my team, streamlining presentations. Its numerous templates simplify the process, letting me efficiently design GCP architectures.
