Easy workflow diagramming and wireframes
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. You do not need to be an expert to use this software to make great looking documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like easier ways to print. Some of the user help isn't that helpful

After a reorg, we've centralized most departments and understanding and documenting what the best practices are has been a lifesaver

Lucid Chart is a functional solution that creates highly-usable flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty quick to learn how to use LucidChart. The features grow with you so that you can use just the basics after a few minutes of clicking around. But if you want to become a power user, you'll need to put in a bit more time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The end result feels like a mechanical drawing or an engineering chart. They're just not aesthetically pleasing. If you're just trying to communicate information, then it's all you need. If you need to communicate information in an elegant way, then you may need a different solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explaining multi-stage processes to clients in an onboarding course. We've been able to help our clients understand the need to complete certain tasks in a specific order and identify decision points and criteria for making those decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check it out. It may well check all your boxes. Just don't think that it will be useful for client-facing information. It's more for creating internal docs.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how it made diagramming easier to share with coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't use it long enough to dislike something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to map out our user stories which made it easier for future programming and seeing the bigger picture.
A very useful tool for wireframe development and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI and the ease of use. The mind maps and wireframes we created and collaborated on lucid chart came out perfect!

There is nothing that comes to mind other than maybe improve the UI further

Mostly collaborative efforts to create flowcharts, wireframes and mind maps

Its a great way to collaborate and brainstorm with your whole team. You can include the designer, digital managers as well as the clients in the collaboration because of its easy to navigate UI
Lucidchart for Process Flows
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot a similar functionality to Visio so the learning curve was short. It is web based so there was I could access it with any computer. Also there was no need to install on laptop and also not having to provide proof of purchase for our IT Support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
With connecting line there is not functionality to make them straight or angled, so that took a bit of time when creating complex diagrams. However I was told by them that this was to be fixed in the future.

The user has access to their work folder from any computer with internet connections.

Diagramming a new process for an area of the business. As we created the chart we realized major flaws in the process that needed to be reworked.

I like the Ability to move things around easily.

Sometimes getting the arrows to position properly is a pain, and I’d like the ability to shrink everything down to fit a letter or tabloid size paper

The best part is that this is cloud based software so you don't have to download it on system.

The free trail isn't enough to explore and learn all the functions of the Lucidchart. It also gives object limit of 60 which is frustrating sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After getting full version, I was able to create bunch of process flow diagrams which were at complex level. It also helped in creating good factory layout in my previous application.
Gets the job done.

It's user-friendly and fairly self explanatory. It's also easy to share and collaborate.

Limited in design functionality (aka: it's difficult to make look pretty).

Basic process mapping, allowing for clarity of process definitions and increased workflow efficiency.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It was intuitive to use. I use LucidChart to plan email nurturing workflows. It helps me come up with a plan before I start designing and coding an email series.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only used the free version, so I can't comment on the full version. But the only thing that bugs me is sometimes when I put text inside another shape, it is hard to select the text. It only selects the outer shape a good portion of the time.

As I saidabove, I use it to plan email workflows that I can then share with my colleagues to get their feedback.

They give a free trial for the paid version, so I would recommend trying that out to see if it will be worth it for you and your company.
