I love the simplicity and speed with which I can draw diagrams. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes starting a project very simple with a comprehensive set of available shapes, including logical shapes and database schemas. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, which greatly facilitated integration into my workflow. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to integrate Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite with Notion, which enhances my team's collaboration and efficiency.

I like how the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very easy to use because it provides just the right amount of functionalities needed to build the architecture diagrams necessary for my work. Additionally, the support for mermaid diagrams is a feature that I appreciate as it allows me to integrate a visual representation in my documentation effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I wish the Google Docs integration was better, indicating that the current level of integration might not be as seamless or feature-rich as I would like. This limits efficiency when trying to incorporate documentation within diagrams. 2. I want to be able to edit the Mermaid diagrams visually. Currently, there seems to be a lack of an intuitive interface or tools for visual editing of Mermaid diagrams, which could hinder the ease of making changes or customizing them according to my needs.

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create architecture diagrams for RFCs effortlessly, making it easy for my audience to understand proposed changes.

I had a bit of difficulty changing the direction of my arrow and making it the same distance as my other arrows. I wish there could be a feature that duplicates the arrow area, allowing me to flip it in different directions without altering the original shape, especially when the arrow is curved or in a unique shape.

Setting up Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was extremely easy, ensuring a smooth transition to using the software.

I noticed that each new file or chart starts at a different point on the board, making it difficult to line them up and create a cohesive look. It would be helpful to have a ruler displayed on the top and side to aid alignment. Additionally, because text lengths vary, some flow lines extend further than necessary, which results in an uneven layout and a busy visual. I also struggled to find how to wrap a flow back to another box without using a pre-made template.

The built-in tutorials save a lot of time when learning how to use the platform, and the endless customization options allow for tailored and efficient use across various projects. I appreciate the ease with which coworkers can collaborate on projects, which significantly improves teamwork and communication. Additionally, the functionality to zoom in and out freely allows me to create very large and detailed flowcharts, making it easy to review specific portions of a process with team members without confusion. The initial setup was very easy, which helped in quickly getting started with the software. Overall, I am very pleased with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite and would gladly recommend it to others.

Fast Chart Creation and Easy Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty quick to create a basic-looking chart, and easy to share it with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a new user perspective, can be hard to figure out what's where/how to switch between what kind of diagram I'd like to make.

It makes it easier to create ER diagrams (which I'm using it for) and share them in a quick turnaround time. The interface for ER diagrams and database schema is also nice.

Additionally, the parallel collaboration feature akin to Figma, especially through Lucid Spark, enhances our team’s engineering retrospective sessions. This makes sharing ideas in a single document efficient and collaborative, ensuring everyone’s thought process is understood clearly. The ease of initial setup, aided by a demo from the Lucid client team, added to the suite’s accessibility for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions to edit documents aren't displayed clearly. I had difficulty pasting a picture in a document, and the owner of the document couldn't find the option to enable it either.
