Fast Sync and Easy Collaboration, Needs Simpler Drafting

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite as a software engineer to share diagrams with my teammates and write design doc flows. I appreciate how it offers a fast and easy way to share things between team members. I like how fast it syncs, allowing me to be on a Zoom call and see them the same as everyone else. I enjoy the ability to write comments and write on the board, making it easy to have separate conversations for different parts of a diagram while keeping all comments organized and clean. The initial setup was very simple and easy, I didn't really need to do much.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think for quick fast diagrams, there's a bit too many options and buttons. I would like to see a simple/fast drafting setup, similar to Excalidraw.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite offers a fast and easy way to share things with team members, syncs quickly for real-time collaboration, and keeps comments organized and clean.

Rock-Solid Integration and Real-Time Collaboration That Automates Busywork

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its integration is extremely solid and it automates tedious manual tasks. It’s not just a diagramming application; it’s a truly collaborative space where you can work on the same canvas with other engineers in real time, which helps streamline decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative is that when I’m working with giant dashboards full of information, the tool tends to become slow. There’s a noticeable delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more document chaos. The real benefit is clarity: we now have a coherent visualization of our services, and the technical alignment it enables is brutal. You can explain complex systems without friction or misunderstandings.

Streamlined Diagram Creation, Minor Subscription Drawback

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I really like a lot about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the easy integration and the fact that there's always help available on the platform itself regarding how to use it. It only took me about twenty minutes to get started, and by thirty minutes, I was developing what I actually wanted. I was putting my ideas on the screen through the platform, pretty quickly. I also like how easy it is to share my work with the rest of the project group members, with no excessive emailing. Additionally, the navigation on the platform is very easy because it's similar to tools I use extensively like OneDrive and Google Drive, which I found very helpful. The initial setup was incredibly easy and up and running in two minutes, couldn't ask for better.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I don't like the fact that there's a subscription or a pro thing. I don't like it when companies do that. I believe that you'd get many more users if it was a free plan.","As a student, I am not able to pay for the pro features even though I'd like to, for more extensive work or in-depth projects that may follow down the line.","I'd love to have an app. A downloadable app. I don't trust my browser. I haven't seen one, but I would love to be able to use this as an integrated app on my desktop."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite captures all my project details in one diagram, making it easier to display complex information clearly in reports, enhancing my understanding and presentation.

Unified Collaboration, Superior Real-Time Experience

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the visual workspace that scales exceptionally, allowing for real-time collaboration. It has great diagramming capabilities and includes Lucid's sparks, syncs, workshop, and ideation tools. I also appreciate the integrations with enterprise tools, AI features that accelerate work, and the clean user experience. The unified visual workspace is faster and more cohesive, leading to stronger alignment and quicker decision-making, as well as clearer communication and better documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance on large or complex boards, learning curve for advanced features, and managing very large boards can be occasionally complex. There's complexity in permissions and sharing. Interrogation depth varies across these areas. Pricing can be a barrier for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite addresses lack of clarity in complex processes, enhances efficient cross-team communication, integrates fragmented tools, and resolves documentation challenges. It improves remote collaboration, speeds up diagram creation, aligns projects better, and increases project life cycle visibility.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for project planning and roadmap visualization. It helps align the team on project timelines and the order in which tasks need to be completed. I like that it's easy to use and brings everything to life through visualization. Ideation and thinking through problems work well since I can create a wall of sticky notes with free flowing thoughts. The initial setup was easy to use and understand.
