AI-Powered Efficiency, Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
One feature I found particularly useful was the AI-assisted diagram generation. I used it to develop current-state and proposed-state recruitment process flowcharts by describing the process in prompt form, and it generated an initial process map that gave me a strong starting point with only moderate refinement required. That was especially helpful for translating a complex, multi-step workflow with decision points into a visual format efficiently.
I also appreciated the platform’s automatic formatting and connector logic (including shape alignment, connectors, and rules), which made it much easier to build and adjust process maps without manually formatting every relationship.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was some learning curve, particularly around formatting controls, auto-snap/grid features, and understanding how to use some of the tools as efficiently as possible. At times, the automatic alignment features were a bit rigid when making manual layout adjustments. For first-time users, a more guided onboarding tutorial or interactive walkthrough would be helpful to surface key features and reduce trial-and-error early on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps solve the challenge of translating complex, multi-step processes into clear and structured visual workflows. I used it to map both current-state and proposed-state recruitment processes, including approvals, decision points, and handoffs, which would have been much more cumbersome to organize manually.
The AI tool helped generate an initial framework from my instructions, reducing manual effort and accelerating development of the diagrams. Beyond efficiency, the tool helped improve clarity, surface process gaps, and support stakeholder discussions by presenting process design issues and proposed improvements in a more accessible visual format.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how open-ended Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is for creating all sorts of documents, visual diagrams, notes, slides, etc. It really helps me with the visual organization of ideas that are happening in my brain. I believe it will help improve my ability to communicate to leadership and get projects approved. The initial setup was super easy, with no issues at all. I'd give it a 10 for visual collaboration.

I struggled to get it to work on my ipad. I could review documents, but editing wasn't so simple on the iPad.

Intuitive and User-Friendly for Individual Contributors
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite very useful for diagramming architecture. It's far better in terms of user convenience compared to other tools I've used, like VZIO. The platform makes it much more convenient to align, design, and work with color combinations and save options, which really enhances the overall design experience. I also appreciate that I can use the web version because it's much easier to access.

The easy of use and the speed of which complex topics can be mapped out - sharing these with colleagues is easy and even colleagues with minimal experience seem to be able to navigate around and use the tool without issue.

might be good to include some themed elements - lacks punch when presenting to stakeholders

give me the ability to map processes quickly and easily - i find im doing this straight into the system and it works brilliantly as a collab platform - as stakeholders or SME can visually see the diagrams im building

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for creating workflows and architecture diagrams for work purposes. I like the real-time collaboration feature, as it allows me to work alongside my team and see updates they're making, which is incredibly useful for remote collaboration. This feature reduces miscommunication because everyone can see the current version and who changed what, and team members can work simultaneously on different parts. The initial setup was extremely straightforward, and I had no difficulties with it.

When working on large or complex diagrams, there can sometimes be a lag, especially if the internet connection isn't great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite lets me collaborate easily by sharing documents, updating diagrams in real time, and viewing teammates' edits. It reduces miscommunication and allows simultaneous teamwork, which is great for remote collaboration.

I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very intuitive and fluid. It's easy to get my thoughts on the screen.

For me, there's just a lot of features, and so sometimes I struggle to know where to look. But that's probably just a familiarity issue.

The Pool of Shapes and Symbols is Huge Facilitating Fast Diagramming for Visual Understanding
What do you like best about the product?
The huge library with custom templates and shapes helps easily start a flowchart or diagram and hugely differentiates Lucidchart from other similar tools that don’t have such wide variety. Additionally, it supports real-time collaboration and allows us to export the diagrams in multiple formats making it a truly complete tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is hardly anything to dislike about the Lucidchart features that I have used everything works well and the results are amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allowed me to create campaign execution workflow flowcharts mapping the campaigns into a continuous chain of activities which helps us to easily follow progress and track where each campaign stands.
