A Powerhouse Collaboration Tool That Replaced Three Separate Apps

  • May 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
UI / UX
Super intuitive. The universal canvas makes it incredibly seamless to move between messy brainstorming in Lucidspark and structured diagramming in Lucidchart. The interface stays clean and easy to navigate for both tech-savvy users and beginners.

Integrations
An excellent fit for our workflow. It embeds smoothly with tools we already use every day—Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams—so our diagrams stay updated and visible right where the work happens.

Performance
Impressively smooth. Even with dozens of people collaborating at the same time during a live workshop on a massive, asset-heavy board, we see virtually no lag or rendering delays.

Pricing / ROI
Strong ROI. Since it combines whiteboarding, wireframing, and technical diagramming in one suite, we were able to consolidate our software stack, eliminate extra licensing costs, and save hours of alignment time.

Support / Onboarding
Onboarding is a breeze. The learning curve is low thanks to the huge template library, so you rarely have to start from a blank page. And whenever we’ve needed help, the documentation and customer support have been quick and clear.

AI / Intelligence
The AI features are a major time-saver. Being able to instantly auto-summarize a chaotic sticky-note brainstorming session, automatically categorize ideas, or generate a mind map from a single prompt has really streamlined our planning phases.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI / UX

During larger brainstorming sessions, the canvas can become cluttered, and the administrative backend feels dated and less intuitive compared with the main drawing board.

Integrations

Some of the most powerful automated data-syncing and linking capabilities are locked behind expensive enterprise tiers, and sharing boards with external clients can still feel a bit clunky at times.

Performance

There’s noticeable lag and slower rendering when working with massive, asset-heavy infrastructure diagrams or large-scale process maps.

Pricing / ROI

Per-seat licensing scales up quickly and gets expensive for larger organizations, especially because there aren’t lower-cost options for light or occasional users.

Support / Onboarding

Because the platform is so feature-dense, the learning curve can be steep for non-technical beginners. On top of that, the admin process for transferring file ownership during team offboarding is confusing.

AI / Intelligence

The AI is helpful for generating new layouts from scratch, but it struggles with precise, context-aware edits to *existing* diagrams without disrupting manual formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle with outdated system architecture diagrams, manual database schema updates, and a major communication gap between developers and non-technical stakeholders.

Now we can collaboratively map complex infrastructures and cloud data flows visually, in real time.

As a result, developer onboarding is significantly faster and our documentation stays up to date with zero lag, which helps eliminate costly alignment errors during deployment phases.

Easy to Use with a Smooth, Quick Account Registration

  • May 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and register your account
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find most challenging about the Lucid Suite is the occasional performance slowdown on highly complex, data-heavy enterprise boards. Additionally, while the integration between Lucidchart and Lucidspark is helpful, navigating the shifting UI between formal diagramming and casual whiteboarding can take some getting used to for new team members. However, I’ve found that establishing clean folder structures and breaking massive boards into smaller, linked documents usually mitigates the performance issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What problems is it solving?
In a technical support environment, explaining complex workflows—like DNS troubleshooting, escalation paths, or billing procedures—using only text-heavy manuals is inefficient and leads to information overload. Furthermore, aligning remote teams on process updates can be difficult without a shared visual space.

How is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows us to map out highly complex L1 troubleshooting flows into clear, easy-to-follow decision trees and diagrams. This directly benefits me as a trainer by accelerating new hire onboarding and reducing 'speed to competency.' Agents can visually trace a problem to its solution rather than reading paragraphs of text, which standardizes our processes and reduces unnecessary ticket escalations.

Love Lucid, recommend and will use again and again

  • May 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the built-in AI prompts for rewording, and I also like how they suggest additional boxes when I’m creating flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't change the colour on the charts. Pricing seems high. It would be good to offer a lower base rate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flow charts of processes; org charts of people in company

Intuitive, Easy-to-Use Visual Collaboration Tool

  • May 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and how simple it is to just start creating without a whole tutorial. It allows me to organize my information with boxes and arrows that connect everything together, and it feels very intuitive and user-friendly. I appreciate that I can start without needing training or a lot of familiarity with the product. The initial setup was very easy and quick, taking just about two minutes, which I really appreciated. I'm really happy that this software is available and I definitely recommend it to others. I've used it for years, and it helps me create visuals easily and effectively, allowing seamless sharing with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just the free version is limited to only using three boards at one time. That is kind of a bummer. I wish I could use more boards than just the three that I'm stuck with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to map out and share my projects visually. It's easier than using documents or PowerPoint, making it simple for my team to get on the same page and adjust plans together.

Varied Selection of User-Friendly Templates Saves Time, Increases Efficiencies

  • May 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the listing of categorized templates. This made it super easy to view and quickly choose which sheet or chart would work best for my applications. Once I reviewed the chart, it was very user-friendly to edit the categories and customize it for my specific project and use. The number of charts and templates to use is amazing and saves so much of my time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the application and customization is super easy and intuitive, the manner in which to replicate, print, and/or share is a little more complicated. We work with many people who still prefer or appreciate a print copy of a project. The formatting for printing does not necessary jive with my printer set up and requires some creativity, out of the box thinking and some finagling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was creating and distributing content quickly which would reduce our office inefficiencies and delegate tasks, duties, responsibilities and accountability. I also had the problem of building a foundational production timeline to assist with everyone's work skills and communication.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very practical and easy to use, with a straightforward interface that makes it simple to get started. I find it more practical than other tools because centering boxes and shapes is automatic, and creating arrows is automatic as well, which saves time and keeps everything aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there’s nothing I don’t like about it. It’s been adequate for everything I need to get done and consistently meets my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it much easier for me to visualize all the processes and understand how everything fits together overall. The way to share the chart with other team members is practical.

Intuitive and Customizable—A Great First-Time Experience with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite

  • May 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how easy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was to use as a first-time user. The tools felt very intuitive, and it was simple to customize everything based on my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I found it a bit difficult to scroll and zoom in and out while visualizing charts. It sometimes caused some frustration and made navigation feel a little challenging. However, once I got used to the controls, it became much easier to use and navigate efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helped me create charts, customer flows, and user journeys in a much more visual and organized way for work. It made it easier to present ideas clearly and communicate processes more effectively, so it definitely solved my needs for creating professional and graphic-based materials.
