What do you like best about the product?
The ROI we get from using CHEQ is very good. The product helps us save money and provides meaningful insights to our paid campaigns activity.
The level of service is BY FAR one of the best I saw. Always responsive and proactive. You always get the support you need and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall not many downsides but if I had to pick one it is probably the UI, which is a bit old and can be at times a little bit unfriendly.
They are constantly working on improving it so I am certain that will not be an issue soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us detect and block bot traffic from seeing and clicking our ads which translates to significant amount of money we are able to save.
It provides insights on traffic type and helps us maintain a cleaner website and data reporting. This is a must for anyone running paid campaigns at scale in times where bots are simply EVERYWHERE.
CHEQ detection mechanism is truly amazing with a level of detail I had never seen before.

Must-have layer for any performance marketing team running at scale

What do you like best about the product?
CHEQ gives us genuine confidence that our paid media budget is working as hard as possible. Having protection across Google Search, Meta, Display, YouTube, TikTok, and more from a single platform means we're not dealing with fragmented solutions for each channel.

What we appreciate most is the transparency. Rather than a black-box blocking tool, CHEQ shows us exactly what threat types are active and which channels are most exposed. That intelligence informs how we manage campaigns, not just how we block traffic.

The customer success team is also proactive, with regular reviews that surface meaningful insights. It genuinely feels like a partnership rather than just a software subscription.
What do you dislike about the product?
A meaningful portion of our traffic and campaigns runs through the app, so having full coverage there is important. For now, we’ve had to track that separately via our MMP, since CHEQ still doesn’t provide a Mobile SDK.

As AI continues to advance, the reporting capabilities feel like they’re still catching up to what we need. At the moment, it isn’t possible to build and download ready-to-share custom views or segment the data for different stakeholders without putting in a fair amount of manual work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Invalid traffic is a silent budget drain, and it’s easy to underestimate. CHEQ first solved our visibility problem by giving us a clear view of how much of our paid traffic, across every channel, wasn’t coming from real, in-market users. Then it addressed the action problem by automatically blocking those users before they could consume spend.

In one case, we not only identified a programmatic channel with a high invalid rate but also worked collaboratively with our CHEQ Account Manager and the programmatic manager to pinpoint the SSPs and placements contributing to the issue, and then isolated them from our campaigns, taking the IVR from 15% to less than 3%.

It’s also changed how we think about performance reporting. We now have more confidence that our metrics reflect real user behaviour, which makes optimisation decisions cleaner and more reliable.

What do you like best about the product?
For more than three years now, CHEQ has proven to be an outstanding partner. Thanks to their support and comprehensive data, we have enhanced our IP blocking capabilities on certain platforms and successfully negotiated refunds for invalid click traffic on others. Throughout this process, we have managed to save a substantial amount of wasted spend as we scaled our paid advertising efforts globally. The platform itself is user-friendly, and the integration process is straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to complain about. Initially, the sheer volume of available data can feel a bit overwhelming. However, the CHEQ team is fantastic at guiding us through it and often dives into the data alongside us to uncover insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHEQ has been instrumental in broadening our IP blocking capabilities and reducing bot and invalid traffic. The CHEQ team has assisted us in negotiating refunds with vendors and provided valuable support as we expanded our paid advertising efforts globally.

What do you like best about the product?
Years ago, we recognized our need for a technical solution related to fraudulent traffic hitting our websites. This traffic was coming through paid sources directly, and it also impacted our retargeting/remarketing spend for webiste visitors who never intended to convert to inquiries with our business. I appreciate that CHEQ has a robust solution to our problems, is constantly evolving its tools and practices, and is attentive to our business needs. The UI is easy to navigate, and we can easily implement the solutions we need for our advertising efforts. We leverage CHEQ technology daily, and we have consistent check-ins with our support team to ensure we are getting the most out of the product. Additionally, the initial lift to implement these solutions was well within our organization's technical abilities, so we were up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels odd to share this as a negative, but CHEQ is so committed to its lane that the product set is limited, meaning that we would love to explore how CHEQ's resources could be used to proactively advertise to potential customers, but CHEQ is committed to using its tools to remove fraud and protect companies instead. I respect their position.

Exceptional Service & Data-Driven Results

What do you like best about the product?
The standout aspect of working with CHEQ has been their exceptional customer service & true partnership approach. Our reps proactively flag traffic anomalies even beyond the paid search channels we're contracted for, including weekly channel-agnostic reports they provide to our Lead Quality team. They consistently go above & beyond, like when they compiled a detailed package of 200k+ invalid Bing click IDs that our internal analytics validated had a 0.004% conversion rate, helping us justify a ~$315k credit request. They've also provided video walkthroughs to help us analyze specific publishers & detailed breakdowns of search partner & syndicated traffic by referring source. Beyond the technical aspects of the partnership, our reps are also genuinely enjoyable people to work with.

From a performance perspective, our internal testing validated meaningful improvements with 53% higher Profit/SR in CHEQ-protected campaigns & a 1.3pp conversion rate improvement that aligned with their invalid click rate reductions. We appreciate their data-driven, realistic approach - for example, they provided repeat rate analysis showing realistic upper bounds on their impact rather than overpromising, & they're useful for identifying bad actor patterns our internal tools miss.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's some ambiguity in definitively attributing all performance improvements solely to CHEQ versus natural market fluctuations, but based on our internal validation, we feel confident that it's a significant value-add to our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHEQ is solving a major problem that we couldn't effectively address on our own: bot & fake traffic clicking on our SEM ads & wasting significant ad spend. We invest roughly $150M annually in SEM across Google & Bing, so even a small percentage of fraudulent clicks adds up to millions in wasted spend. The challenge is that this damage happens on the search engine's side - once a bot clicks our ad, we're charged for it - so we need both sophisticated detection & direct integration with Google & Bing platforms to actually mitigate the issue.

The benefits have been substantial - we're seeing an estimated ROI of 671%. Because the vast majority of bot traffic doesn't generate revenue, these cost savings directly boost our overall SEM profitability.

We're also benefiting from cleaner data & reporting. Because bot traffic rarely converts, it was skewing our conversion rate data & making it harder to optimize campaigns effectively. Additionally, CHEQ alerts our team to fake service requests, which allows us to credit pros more proactively & improve their experience with our platform. They've even helped us identify low-quality search partners that were collectively draining spend without generating leads or revenue, enabling us to remove them from our search buys.

What do you like best about the product?
- Onboarding was quick, the team helped us implement using our standard martech stack.

What do you dislike about the product?
Parts of the documentation feel a little outdated in spots and a little hard to follow if you were trying to implement it yourself. I feel they have been moving so fast that the docs could use a refresh, the onboarding helped with this initial hurdle.

We primarily use Cheq for reducing Click Fraid and helping to identify Bots and mitigate fraudulent form submissions.

Invalid traffic spending reduces with enhanced analytics and seamless integration

What is our primary use case?

I use CHEQ to block invalid traffic and bot activity across our entire go-to-market (GTM) funnel. This helps protect our budget, ensure clean analytics, and safeguard the advertising supply chain for both our organization and our partners.

How has it helped my organization?

We have experienced a material reduction in invalid-traffic spend and operational overhead. Our analytics are now cleaner, which allows for more accurate campaign optimization and reporting. We identified and off-boarded several low-quality traffic partners, improving traffic quality and supporting potential legal claims. Additionally, the actionable insights from the CHEQ dashboard have enabled faster, data-driven resource allocation.

What is most valuable?

The AWS Marketplace procurement makes for a frictionless transaction, with instant provisioning and seamless integration into our existing AWS stack. CHEQ offers granular, multi-layer detection that we can fine-tune for each digital touchpoint. The action-oriented dashboard highlights issues and remediation steps instead of just providing raw logs. Their outstanding customer support actively assists in optimizing our ruleset.

What needs improvement?

I would like to see deeper trend and forecasting reports, such as budget-leakage projections. It would also be helpful to have broader API coverage for both reporting and configuration. Additionally, I would appreciate having fully customizable alert thresholds directly within the UI.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been running CHEQ in production since 1 January 2025, following a pilot conducted during Q4 2024. To date, we have had roughly six months of live usage.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not have a dedicated predecessor solution. We previously relied on internal monitoring and manual checks. CHEQ replaced those ad-hoc efforts with a purpose-built, automated solution.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We procured CHEQ via AWS Marketplace whenever possible. The billing is transparent, pay-per-usage, and aligns with our existing AWS invoices. We focused our negotiations on traffic volume and the measurable savings from blocked invalid traffic.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I evaluated multiple fraud-detection vendors, but most were either not interested or not able to handle our specialized domain-parking and traffic-arbitrage use case. This evaluation process led us to select CHEQ.

What other advice do I have?

CHEQ has become a strategic layer in our technology stack. Their team is highly responsive, incorporates feedback quickly, and treats us as a partner rather than just a customer.

What do you like best about the product?
I find CHEQ valuable because it saves us a lot of money by blocking bots and malicious users from our paid activities. I'm very satisfied with the great service, great product, and great dashboard CHEQ offers. The initial setup was smooth thanks to their supportive team who helped us throughout the process, answered questions, and worked hand in hand with us.

Paid for itself in less than a year

What do you like best about the product?
CHEQ have been extremely helpful and patient with us when it came to integrating their platform with our advertising platforms and website despite several delays on our side. From the customer success manager to their technical support, they are always very friendly, knowleadgeable and prompt in their responses.
The platform itself is doing its job stopping a lot of malicious and invalid traffic from coming to the website and, based on the number of invalid clicks it replaced, it paid for itself in less than 12 months.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CHEQ Paradome dashboard needs a bit of work to become more user friendly and have quicker and easier access to the most important KPIs but I know this is something they have been already working on for a while and I can't wait to see the results soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHEQ Paradome has saved us thousands of pounds so far even without being fully integrated with our website and without using its full capabilities. It is currently being used for stopping malicious and invalid traffic from Google Ads and Microsoft Ads and we have seen a significant drop (80%) in IVR (invalid visit rate) since starting using them. Once the full website integration is completed we expect the results to be even more significant.
